“Fod and service excellent but it is so noisy it is impossible to relax and enjoy conversation with friends. I constantly had to ask my friends to repeat and I ended up with a sore back from spending the entire time learning forward at the edge of my seat to try to hear the people across the table. Why don't restaurants understand that when you go out for dinner with friends you want to talk to them? You don't want a restaurant that's quiet as a tomb, but there needs to be a happy medium so you can carry on a conversation.“

“We had good time for our friends 67th Birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was delicious. I had Jumbo Shrimp Alfredo it was fresh with great flavour. Very large servings, I couldn't finish it all. My drink was a Peach Bellini, it was refreshing and tasty. Our server was very quick in bringing out our order. I would recommend the Mario Parm Sampler as well because you get to try 3 different dish for reasonable price. I would recommend East Side Mario's Scarborough“

“Enjoyed a beautiful catered menu for holiday dinner and it was superb. Unfortunately my picture taking skills don’t make up for the delicious food. We enjoyed some Rose Penne, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Pizza, and Rapini… all tasted so good, just like a beautiful home cooked meal.

I would highly recommend catering or even dining in to try the delicious food. Maria and her staff are so kind and pleasant and have such beautiful souls. I look forward to my next visit.

The pizza was hot, fresh, and had just the right amount of cheese and toppings. I really appreciated how clean the store was and how quickly they handled everything, even during a busy time. Definitely one of the better Pizza Pizza locations in the area — I’ll be coming back for sure!“

“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“Been eating at Cali's since I was a kid downtown at the original location.

I always anticipate a decline in the quality, but they have managed to keep the same experience for as long as I could remember.

It's a tad on the expensive side, but in all honesty, I never leave unsatisfied. I'll go for the veal, at least a few times every month.

No matter how many other places I try a veal, they never really match up how Cali's makes it.

“A really gorgeous Italian restaurant with great pasta selection and super friendly service!

The gentleman serving us brought out water and bread really quickly, was incredibly kind and patient with our questions about the menu. Glad we asked what he recommended, because everything was so amazing!!

The seafood was fresh and tasty, all the pasta was really good, and strangely the potatoes were a highlight because they were so soft yet SO crispy. Highly recommend any dish that comes with the potatoes haha“

The upstairs floor was all ours for 26 guests.
There were plenty of servers, the food was plentiful and delicious. The cost included everything- wine, beer, passed and family style appetizers, three choices for main course and fancy coffees. Fruit for the table. We provided the cake.“

“We were very impressed with Boccaccio Ristorante! We went today for the Summerlicious lunch. The restaurant is very elegant and quiet. Our server (David) was absolutely wonderful. He was so pleasant and helpful. The delicious bread with a homemade extra-virgin olive oil was a nice touch and we had as starters the tuna salad with olives and assorted lettuces with a lemon vinaigrette and a yummy potato dish, our main course consisted of the linguine with the pesto and gnocchi with ricotta cheese, and mozzarella. Our desserts were also amazing. We enjoyed the lemon cake which was so fresh and the outstanding tiramisu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and our server, David made it extra special!
