“Early lunch with friends and this was our first time here. The food and service were both excellent. Homemade gnocchi was delicious and friends that ordered the chicken Marsala also enjoyed their meals. Sebastian was a delightful host. Cozy and warm with delightful jazz standards playing at a reasonable level allowed for easy conversation.“

“The environment is comfortable and the restaurant is very clean. Staff are quick, friendly, and efficient.
The portion sizes are much larger than expected. I ordered the BBQ pork on rice, and it was the first time I finished the rice while still having BBQ pork left — very generous serving.
We also tried the fried chicken leg with fries. The chicken leg was literally bigger than my face, with a super crispy skin. The fries were fragrant and well-seasoned.
During afternoon tea hours, drinks are included for free. we tried the red bean ice cream drink and the grass jelly ice cream drink. Both were good and tasted just like they should.“

“Ordered their Hainan Chicken Rice combo. The rice was flavourful, aromatic, gingery, firm and slightly chewy. Sauces that accompanied the rice was strange. The creamy one was more like mayo mustard mix for hotdog/fries. The clear sour tangy sauce was just not good. They were not the right pair for chicken rice. The chicken itself was tasty but nothing special. The cuts were too small and portion was a bit stingy. However the meal combo came with a small cup of HK style milk tea. The cafe was cozy and smelled good from the coffee roaster. Overall it was a good value and taste for a quick meal in a comfy cafe.“
