They said no you don’t have to do that don’t have to walk that far and they gave me my meal for free that Warned my soul they definitely deserve a Raise I am so thankful and grateful for it. My mom always says your kindness to the world and kindness will come back. It truly is kindness coming back.“

“We were a larger group yesterday arriving for an early lunch. We were lucky to have Riley as our waiter who we were told, was just starting out. Although I had worked as a waitress myself, and later on taught Customer Service for many years, I would not have guessed that Riley was new. He was personable, friendly and polite, quickly built rapport with all of us while ensuring that everybody's needs were taken care of in a timely manner. In addition, I noticed that Riley scanned the room at all times, as a good waiter should, but many waiters rarely do. Good luck to you, Riley, and good on you, East Side Mario's for having him on your team! We will be back for sure.“

“This restaurant is a gem, especially for weekend brunch. As a local permanent makeup artist with a studio downtown this is my favourite place to grab a full slow-food breakfast before my first client arrives. The table settings are luxury class with white linens and proper settings. The variety and quality of food is excellent. I imagine that travellers staying in the hotel would have an excellent experience. Having tried other hotel restaurants in the downtown core I can say that the Carleton Grill is competing very well.“

“Today was my second time trying this location; first was dine-in with a friend on a week night and today was a take-out. All servers were very knowledgeable about food menu and how food were prepared. What amazed me the most was the pleasant vibe of the server during the dine-in experience. It's late at night, yet, the server was excited to present the menu and offered dessert options in case we changed our minds.
For today, total take-out time was within the 15-16 mins time frame which the server had mentioned. The server was very patient with my questions about the menu. Some people who arrived later than me seemed to have ordered online and were saying that they waited more than 30 minutes. I don't know how the online order works with the pick up timing, but I hope that customers can be more understanding towards evening staffs who probably gave up their weekend night to serve customers. I am thankful that I got to order some food that were available. I would definitely come back to this location for another dine-in or take-out.“

“There's not much else close by if you are at this hotel complex and it's quite good, The place is a little beat up and every seat in our booth had a visible stain on it, so they are probably due for a refresh. No big deal, food was good, portions maybe a little small. Service was excellent.“

“We love Swiss Chalet and their great specials. The food is delicious. Although, this time the kitchen mixed up our orders and had to send back a couple of plates as veggies were cold. And mixed up the sides of the plates ordered. Usually, all is pretty good food wise so that's the only downside to this visit. Thank you.“

“I popped into Smokeys on a whim and glad that I did. I had the smoked meat sandwhich and it was one of the best tasting I've had. The meat was well seasoned, flavorful, moist and enjoyable to eat. I also ordered a side of the coleslaw and again I was very impreased. It was creamy without being watery, had good crunch and the flavour was superb.

“Very good experience at this Harvey's! The manager is really kind, respectful, welcoming, and makes guests feel comfortable. I greatly appreciate his attitude and the efforts he makes daily.

I've sometimes heard comments saying that the place isn't clean, but personally, I think the staff makes real efforts to keep the premises clean. We must not forget that some customers may dirty the tables, toilets, or other areas after cleaning.

The place is generally quiet, the food is clean and well-prepared. A big thank you to the manager for his professionalism, his hospitality, and the efforts he makes. It's worth highlighting! 👍“

“Dropped in for lunch. Loved the food. Housemade chicken curry soup was excellent and I have a lot of experience with curry. Also had a blueberry lemon scone that was crisp on the outside and tender buttery on the inside. My wife had a breakfast sandwich, which at Good Eats is far above the ordinary with housemade English muffins, cheese layered in the egg and perfectly cooked bacon. There was some sort of chutney on the English Muffin which added a nice spicy touch. Very welcoming staff. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Also they had nice art on the walls from a local artist.“

“Our family really loves the Carlingwood Harvey's, and it has become a regular part of our week. Everytime we arrive we greeted with a warm smile from Christina, who knows are order. Let's face it Harvey's burgers are the best! Why would I want to pay an extra $1 at Burger King's for an extra tomato while Harvey's set you with the topping the way you like it! This is great location; I'm sure you will love it too!“

“this is one of the most kind and respectful restaurants. I’ve ever been to everything here all the people all the food just makes my day. The only thing I can complain about is the lighting is a little off, which totally ruins the atmosphere, but in short, this is one of the best establishments I’ve ever seen. I’m so grateful that I got to enjoy a nice relaxing dinner here with some of my friends after a hard day of work coming from Quad Ville Ontario. “Our server was very nice and understood what we needed and was not pushy. Some restaurants push you out the door so they can use the table again. She told us to take our time. One thing I would suggest, give more time for us to finish our initial cocktail before bringing the meal. Other than that 5 out of 5“

“My husband and I had a good dinner at Banco. I got the duck confit and it was delicious. The meat was tender and fall off the bone and had a nice smoked taste to it. It came with a salad which was very good. My only compliant is that they didn't remove the seeds from the bell peppers, so I had to remove them myself. My husband had the chicken and ribs with fries. He enjoyed his meal. Our drinks were good too. Banco is a nice dining option at the casino if you don't want to shell out big bucks at Arome, but you still want a sit-down meal with table service.“

“I love, love, love this place! To me Gabriel Pizza has the very best pizza in Ottawa and their spaghetti sauce is the very best sauce around as well and their pasta is always perfectly cooked! We order either pizza, spaghetti, or lasagna from this location at least once a week and the food is consistently delicious; we always use their delivery services, and the food always arrives hot and well within the Estimated Delivery Time. Next time you crave pizza or a delicious spaghetti or lasagna with meat sauce, turn to Gabriel Pizza for great taste and use this location for friendly, quick and accurate delivery!! Enjoy!!!“
