“What really makes Dorchin special is the amazing hospitality! The owner personally came to our table and chatted with us about Persian food with so much warmth and passion. You can truly feel how much they care — not just about serving great food, but about making sure everyone has a wonderful experience.

We had Kabab Koobideh, and it was sooo delicious — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled! We also tried Zeytoon Parvardeh and the Iranian Moosir Yogurt, both absolutely incredible.

He gave us extra food and complimentary drinks when he found out we were from out of town. The Baba Ganoush was authentic and fresh, and the kebabs were tender and packed with flavor. Recommended if you’re staying near the Highway 7 area.“

“this place is amazing and the food is perfect. I am a vegetarian and I ordered falafal wrap and Falafel plate with rice. The portion size is huge. me and my husband ordered 2 combo- One wrap+fries+coke can (2 of these=40$ in total) but we couldn’t finish it. “I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“I tried Shawarma Jwan yesterday and honestly, I was so impressed! The food was super fresh, flavorful, and the portions were amazing. I ordered both the shawarma wrap and a plate, everything tasted homemade and clean, nothing greasy or old.

It’s a family owned business and you can really feel the love they put into their food. They were so kind, welcoming, and genuine. The place is spotless and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

Finally got to try it. after seeing it around for ages and it was totally worth it!
I went with a few friends, and we each ordered something different: the Mix Kebab Charcoal Grill Plate, the Chicken Shawarma Plate, and the Saj Chicken Wrap.
Before even talking about the food, I have to say the place was super clean, including the seating area and the food preparation area, which is really important to me. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful when we weren’t sure what to get big plus!
Now, the food: absolutely 10/10. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions were generoustoo.
My favorite was Definitely the Chicken Shawarma on Saj bread so tasty I’d come back just for that!
I highly recommend this location and want to thank the awesome staff and management for the great experience. Keep it up!“

Also, whenever I order for pickup, my order is usually ready within a few minutes, so the speed is excellent. I’m very satisfied with both the service and the food so far!

“I come to York Shawarma during my lunch break sometimes and always receive great customer service and great food. They are very generous with their portions in both the plates and the sandwiches. For these reasons I keep coming back to this place on my lunch breaks and I hope it doesn’t change!

Vegetarian options: The typical options plus cabbage and red cabbage. In other stores I usually don’t see those two options so glad they have them.

Parking: Not a huge lot but can fit at least 12 cars.

Kid-friendliness: I don’t see a reason for it not to be kid-friendly but its location is within an industrial zone.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s accessible as long as the chair fits throughout the door. It’s a normal size door.“
