“Though the workers were extremely busy and had many other customers to tend to, they still made my food with love and care in the short time span they have. Usually other restaurants value efficiency over making good food, the workers at Pita Land made me a delicious wrap and were quick with it. With a welcoming atmosphere and kind staff, I would recommend this place if you are craving Middle Eastern cuisine.“

“Best Shawarma in all of Maple right beside Wonderland. They’re open until 3 o’clock in the morning for your late night cravings and they always give a very respectable portion. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a little bit of Middle Eastern twist in Vaughan.“

When I moved to Canada I never had a same taste of Shawarma. But the taste was from Fantastic was awesome. They have variety of sauces and filling. More over direct cutting from oven ... that makes different from other shawarma shops..“

“The garlic toum is fabulous at Aladdin shawarma house, which reminds me of sharwama palace in Ottawa (which I think is the BEST sharwama in Canada). The roasted potatoes is also a blessing, and everything goes down refreshingly with the lovely coleslaw.

“This place is similar to the concept of a combination of a coffeehouse, tavern, and dining hall in Turkey. It’s like a blend of three different places, something I haven't even seen in Turkey. I liked it; the prices are reasonable. There are about thirty people inside, but no women at all.“

“Best falafels in town, the young lady who works here is phenomenal she makes the best sandwiches and she knows exactly how I like it. It’s so delicious when she makes it. Such a blessing. These guys are the best store owner and everyone is down to earth, very friendly and it’s a great environment . “I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“I tried the chicken, beef, and lamb shawarma, along with the biryani, and everything was delicious. The meats were tender and flavorful, and the biryani had a nice balance of spices. Be aware, though if you opt for spicy, it’s very spicy!

Parking is convenient, with plenty of space. Overall, great food and easy access make it worth a visit!“

“I come to York Shawarma during my lunch break sometimes and always receive great customer service and great food. They are very generous with their portions in both the plates and the sandwiches. For these reasons I keep coming back to this place on my lunch breaks and I hope it doesn’t change!

Vegetarian options: The typical options plus cabbage and red cabbage. In other stores I usually don’t see those two options so glad they have them.

Parking: Not a huge lot but can fit at least 12 cars.

Kid-friendliness: I don’t see a reason for it not to be kid-friendly but its location is within an industrial zone.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s accessible as long as the chair fits throughout the door. It’s a normal size door.“

“I went to Anoush on Rimrock last week, I mentioned it was my birthday and they gave me a free Lentil Soup. The wraps are chockful of veggies and the chicken...they make a great Shwarma!

It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“
