“I think this is the only Vietnamese restaurant with this amount of selection of different types of snails. Also the Vietnamese pancake here was to die for if there's so many different menu options can't wait to go back and try different things everything was hitting. The banh cuon here was also fire usually I don't like that but here it's absolutely amazing.“

“Went for dinner last night before going to a show. The menu was a bit out of our normal experiences but we wanted a different experience. Or booth was comfortable. Jason answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they probably were for him. He was engaging but not over the top - very likeable. We tried four of the spicy dishes and they were all exceptional! We did not try the skewers, which we now regret, but we will go back to do that for sure. What a great dinner experience! “Absolutely delicious!
We got the rice, siu mai, shrimp toast, and the char siu bao. The presentation on the rice is SO cute 😭 I love the standing mushrooms. I will say it’s pretty heavy on seasoning, so it’s hard to eat without switching to something else/drinking something. All of the dim sum was amazing, but I highly recommend the shrimp toast and the char siu.
The service was chill and I love how they decorated the place. The art on the walls make me happy :) thank you for having me!“

“Good food, good vibe. Weekday lunch special for $20 is the game changer. Service is good. Taste even better. Compared to other places, little less parking spot but that's not a big deal, all over its a nice little great restaurant. We specifically surprised by how only one Cashier could handle the service + cashier job everything nicely. They have good Thai & Viet food choices and their taste also very good according to my wife who is Chinese Vietnamese. We had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for both casual and special occasions. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sparkly Restaurant, a Japanese-Thai all-you-can-eat spot, thanks to a thoughtful gift certificate from one of my coworkers, a nurse at the hospital. It was my first time trying this place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were fresh and full of flavor. The sushi was beautifully presented, the Thai curries were perfectly spiced, and the appetizers were a great start to the meal. “Been frequenting here multiple times since the past 3 years whenever I happen to be in Chinatown. Big fan of their mango sticky rice with sago and icecream combo, which for the price, is their big seller. From my experience it's enough for 3 people to share with. Mango sago is pretty appetizing as well if you're a mango fan as well.
Their iced milk teas are served in generous portions in fancy tiki style glasses. They come with a lot of ice and sweetness by default, atleast for my liking, so make sure to ask them to serve the drinks with less ice and sugar as required.
Altogether I believe they're an underrated spot in Chinatown, especially for their desserts. I'll check them out again for their other menu offerings.“

“Honestly… I was completely shocked when I tried gimbap from Menkatsu for the first time. I’m not the type of person who eats “basic” kimbap. I always go for spicy pork or tuna gimbap, something with flavor. I never choose the regular one because I think it’s too blend for my preference.

But one day I saw someone eating the basic gimbap at the food court, and it just looked so good. Even the smell was amazing. So I ordered it just to try… and WOW.

I’m not exaggerating, it was insane. I’ve never had a basic gimbap that good in my life. From that day, I kept thinking about it. Even after a rough day, I’d find myself wanting that gimbap and nothing else.

So whenever I had time, I would literally drive 25 minutes one way just to buy it. But one day, I went there and… they told me they don’t make gimbap anymore. I was honestly extremely heartbroken. They said it was because not enough people were buying it, but… I was really shocked and so sad.
If I had never tasted it, maybe I wouldn’t care. But now that I know how good it was, I can’t stop thinking about it. And I can’t find that taste anywhere else.

I truly hope the owner will reconsider. That basic kimbap was really something special. I sincerely hope it comes back.

“My experience at the big Bear pancake was amazing they had different kind of food and the soup is good the noodles are excellent and yeah, the other kind of food that they have was beef in rice the rice was really nice and soft the beef was very very tender and overall it was great. There are other varieties of soup and noodles and rice in meat but I have not tried that before yet but I will soon.“

“This restaurant has been in the community for a very long time. Great thing they moved to a more spacious building. They serve reasonably priced Asian food in large portions. Ambience is good, food is served quickly, and their servers are helpful and very polite.“

“I've been to other locations and their food was tasty. So I decided to give this location a shot. Had their chilli chicken with steamed rice. The food came out pretty quick and It was surprisingly really good. The chicken was crispy and there was the perfect amount of spice. However, one thing I did notice as the dish cooled the chicken had a slightly bitter after taste, I'm not sure why. Maybe it might be the batter or maybe it might have just been me. For those of you who decide to give this place a shot maybe try eating it quickly. Other than that, I'll try this place again when in the area and maybe try the chilli chicken with gravy next time.“
