“I had an excellent experience thanks to Wisdom! From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and friendly attitude. He was polite, professional, and made sure my order was correct and fresh. It’s rare these days to see someone take so much pride in their work, but Wisdom truly stands out — his customer service is top-notch.
Big thank you to Wisdom for making my visit such a pleasant one — employees like him make all the difference!“

“Place just open. 2nd times tried their chicken sandwich. I like the fact that they had to make the chicken sandwich after I made the order. The sandwich was hot and juicy. Church's chicken sandwich is larger than Popeyes. Onion rings were hot and crispy. The service was excellent. It was a slow night around 9ish. They gave me biscuit for the wait. Honestly, chicken sandwich was too good. No drive thru.
Parking: Limited parking at rear.“

“Honestly, super friendly staff here and delicious KFC probably one of the better franchises in the GTA. These poor ladies must take a lot of slack sometimes with the clientele popping in of this location, but they are kind considerate and very patient. The owners of this franchise would be so lucky to have this staff in place for their
location.“

“Tried Simbas and overall had a good experience. For $21, I got two sandwiches (one Nashville hot chicken, one beef patty with jalapeño pickle), fries, their signature sauce, and a drink, which is a solid combo.
The fries were perfect—very similar to Costco-style fries, which is what you’d expect from a shawarma-style spot, and they didn’t disappoint. The Nashville chicken tender was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired really nicely with the coleslaw. The beef patty sandwich was also satisfying.
The place is located in a food court–style plaza, so seating feels more like a canteen. There’s plenty of free parking, which is a big plus. However, the washroom could use improvement—only one sink was working during my visit. We waited 15 minutes for the food which is pretty good pace.
Food-wise, I really enjoyed it, but pricing feels a bit high. Personally, this meal would make more sense around $15 rather than $21.
Overall, great food and solid portions, just room for improvement on pricing and facilities.“

“A hidden gem in downtown Toronto. This was the most amazing chicken sandwich I ever had! Friendly people, great service!! The place was clean. Just a few seats for you to chow down and go. What more can you ask for from this little restaurant with great taste.“

“The garlic soy fried chicken here has had me in a committed relationship for years—sorry to my exes, but this chicken actually shows up for me. It’s so crispy it could shatter glass, and every bite feels like therapy for my soul 😍. Honestly, Korean fried chicken is undefeated and I like this chain better than The fry.“

“(Visited for the first time on Wednesday, Nov 5/25 around 5:30PM for dine in)
A chicken place receiving the Michelin Bib Gourmand award four years in a row - had to try the place out.
Staff we got were fantastic. Super helpful answering our questions and giving recommendations. Great attitude.
I don't know if that's the vibe or the lighting was dim, or there isn't much lighting in there but it looked sort of run down (again it was November, it's fall, it gets dark early - maybe that's the mood).
What I can tell you is the food was not run down.
Waited about tenish minutes as the food was made fresh.
I got the OG chicken bites and cajun waffle fries.
$12.50 plus $6 to make it a combo with a side and a drink - this was great value - $20.91 after tax.
The portion was great.
I had more chicken bites than waffle fries (think of popcorn chicken but crustier).
I got mild/medium heat and you could really truly taste the dusting of spice on those chicken bites.
I didn't just get like five or six pieces - I swear I got eight or nine pieces, it was fantastic. Wish I got a bit more waffle fries but the protein is where it's at.
I see why this place has received the Bib Gourmand award every year and if it wasn't in the west end of the city I would be there way more often. Move over Dave's Hot Chicken (even though there are more convenient locations).
Definitely recommend Chica's Chicken.
Wonder if I can do some catering for a party....“
