“I waited purposely to rate this place the day after we ordered. Had left overs and needless to say tasted even better. Ordered the pad Thai. One of the best ones I had in a while. The lemon is nice I added lime and threw more peanuts overall pretty good. Tempura shrimp, and veggies were really good. Yam,mushrooms, and broccoli. Lastly we ordered sushi. Every sushi dish was amazing and the spicy tuna melts velvety and silky in one’s mouth. Our new found favourite place will definitely order again. Thank you for a great experience.“

I ordered the deluxe set. I enjoyed the dynamite and spicy salmon rolls which came with it. What I didn't like in the deluxe set was the cream cheese rolls, which came as a surprise to me as I ate it.

Some of the items were quite expensive. If I recall correctly, there was a boat for $72 which contained about 36 rolls. $2 per roll is probably not a deal I will take.

The restaurant was clean, but the main problem was the flies. They were flying everywhere and landing wherever they please.

“The staff are always really friendly, which makes eating in feel relaxed and welcoming. The sashimi is usually pretty decent and fresh, though a couple of the salmon pieces were a bit stringy on this visit.

The chirashi don was the standout for me – for around $24, the portion and quality were totally worth it. I also order from this place a lot on Uber Eats and the food is consistently good when it arrives. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that I’m happy to keep going back to.“

“The interior design is done beautifully with lots of unique decors like posters, cherry blossoms, very modern yet also traditional, lots of greens as well to look at. The seating areas is clean and comfortable, and can accommodate many people. The food presentation is very pleasing to look at, and everything is provided for you immediately.

Their staff seems to be mostly Korean so if you can speak Korean you can. 서버는 한국어를 할 수 있습니다. Since they are Korean they are used to the Korean restaurant style so they may not come to your table too often but they are always looking at your tables, if you raise your hand they will come as soon as possible. (If its busy you can yell “jogiyo / 저기요”)

Overall this is a really nice restaurant to relax in and take in the atmosphere while enjoying some sushi.“

“We ordered from Kibo last night and when I went to pick up they were a bit behind and I had to wait. Totally not thier fault. It was a busy Friday night. When my order was ready they gave us 2 soups and 2 salads for the wait. It was a great surprise and much appreciated. The sushi was amazing and fresh. As it always has been when we ordered here. “The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

The attention to detail was amazing and all the staff were attentive, chef evn asked us if we wanted less or more rice and checked in with us multiple times on how we’re doing. I’ve never felt this full after an omakase, I’ve lost count of the number of courses. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer kaiseki the most!! Everything was delicious, it is definitely on the more pricey end but I would say it’s worth visiting at least once!“

“Incredible experience at Sushi Land!
This was my second visit, and once again, everything was absolutely amazing. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get.

The staff were so polite and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. One of the best touches is that with every sushi order, they serve a complimentary miso soup — and it’s genuinely delicious! They also bring you a pot of green tea with your meal, which just makes everything feel even more thoughtful and complete.

I highly recommend trying the Alaska roll — it was a standout! Honestly, this is some of the best sushi I’ve had in recent times, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Sushi Land has earned a solid spot on my favorites list!“

“Love the build your own platter concept of this place. Basically, Ako allows you to mix and match the sushi, sashimi and maki you're craving and charges based on the number of different items you get. Mega bonus points for this!

After looking over all the options, I chose salmon sashimi, octopus sashimi, and bbq eel sushi. Quality was pretty good, cuts were thick, and the value was insane!

I had the Super Bento Box and frankly I thought the price was low (no customer ever said that, but I did). My bill was $20 including tax (plus a generous tip). Now, this is not a fine dining Omakase restaurant, so must not compare to that, but for a good Japanese meal and very good value for money, stop by. I know I will go back.“
