“I went on my Birthday yesterday and the service was great! Everyone was comfortable and food and drinks came out promptly and smoothly. Our server was a sweetheart, friendly and super attentive. Food was good, we got a variety of appetizers what you want and expect at a casual, sports pub. The mousse cake slice I got for free for my Birthday was excellent however and would highly recommend! The atmosphere was comfortable to play an outrageous card game together. Do expect some loud sports fans which is totally understandable of course.“

“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

“Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“We are regulars and actually drive out from Tigard because the food and service is so amazing. It can get a little busy on the weekends, but even then with a reservation (which you can make online or using Open Table) they get us right in and the service is still very good. The general manager can always be seen on the floor both observing and helping out with bringing meals and drinks to tables if needed.

The menu has so many options it is hard not find something for everyone. They also have a separate section for larger parties that is separate from the main dining room so the large party can have their own space.

The last time we were there the staff overheard us talking about a promotion my wife just received at work and brought out a small desert and card signed by the staff to celebrate. This was on a very busy night for them so it was quite impressive that even with everything going on at the time they took the effort to make the meal that much more special.“

“My partner and I brought two friends to Oswego Grill in Beaverton because they were celebrating birthdays. I mentioned the birthdays event in the reservation I made on Open Table. I did not have to mention it again when we arrived — the staff remembered and asked, “which of you are celebrating birthdays?” Our friends were so pleased. We each had a delicious lunch including fish and chips, a grilled chicken sandwich, a grilled steak salad, and a prawns salad. There were 2-3 wait staff checking in with us, and even the manager stop by to chat. After our lunch, our server brought two beautiful desserts for the birthday gals. These were complimentary, to my surprise, because they were large portions with bananas, fruit, ice cream, and whipped cream. Generally a free birthday dessert might be a small cupcake. Oswego Grill is very generous. I hope I was generous enough with the tip I left because the staff deserved a really good one. We will absolutely be back and recommend this restaurant to others. “We had the three piece thigh combo with Mac and cheese and it was delicious! My husband has original and I opted for the honey garlic sauce and both were wonderful! Delicious and crispy even with the sauce, the chicken itself was juicy and the mac and cheese was awesome! Would highly recommend!“

“I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.“

“My husband is Hispanic and it’s always so hard to find authentic, fresh, and delicious food like it’s made at home. Even though this restaurant is advertised as American, it definitely isn’t. In the best way. The pupusas are 10/10 steamy and soooo gooood!! Thank you guys!“

“I've always had an appreciation for shakes, fries, and a burger. The hazelnut chocolate shake came with an ice cold cup filled with extra shake on the side.

And the burger was cooked juicy and homestyle.
And the fries were delicious. The only thing I observed was not the freshest lettuce but keep in mind im am very critical of my burgers. And it was later in the evening.

I really enjoyed the cleanliness of the dining room and restroom. And the waitress was very attentive and welcoming.

Parking: The turn off can be a tad awkward from the intersection to parking lot but that is totally fine once you get the parking lot. There is plenty of space.

Kid-friendliness: This would be an excellent spot to get dinner with kids. They have old cartoons playing on the t.v.“

“The food is great, I had an off menu wrap. The service is amazing, everyone keeps their attitude at home, nothing but cheerful employees here trying to help you to the best of their abilities. The atmosphere would be five stars as well but it is a bowling alley and can get quite noisy. That's the only reason for a 4 star review for atmosphere. Other than that the patrons are very friendly as well. If you're waiting on a movie across the street, looking for a great date idea, or just board looking for some time to kill, then this is a great suggestion. Besides a bowling alley it's also an arcade that gives you tickets that you can cash in for prizes. Granted the prizes are geared towards children, there's still some stuff there that would be a great idea for a first date prize. Highly recommend this place and will stop by again if I'm ever in the area“

“It has a decent salad bar with a fine selection including eggs, olives, peppers, chicken, ham, fruits and more.If you have a nut and dairy allergy like me, go early or risk cross contamination from the mad rush of folks who do not pay attention to that.There is a hot food bar as well. The menu changes daily but cannot eat from there due to cross contamination / cooking risks due to said allergy. I hear good comments frequently though.There is also the Sub4 restaurant inside if you have time for a sit down meal, traditional American plates.Last but not least there is a coffeehouse with a fair selection of coffee / tea options.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. “I'm not sure why in my mind I expected a mediocre experience but man was I wrong and glad of it.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and got the French Dip and Santa Fe Chicken Panini. We split them so we were able to both try two different sandwiches and they were stellar. The French Dip was the best I have ever experienced, even beating my own cooking as well as the Panini brought together flavors in a manner which I had never tried before and it was refreshing. All the wait staff were amazing and some even dressed up for the holiday spirit!

I'd highly recommend to anyone doubting this as being special to give it a try because I believe you'll be happily proven wrong.“

I ordered the shortribs and I thought it was a bit too garlicky this time. I LOVE garlic, but it had the bitterness taste of raw garlic. The beef was tender and tasted good as I remebered.
