“We had the absolute best experience at Hyatt Lake Resort. After Christmas tree hunting with a group of 19, we called ahead to ask if they were open and gave a heads-up about our big group. The woman who answered was so kind and genuinely excited to have us. When we arrived, she had music playing, tables ready, and welcomed us with the biggest smile. The service was attentive and warm, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. As a bonus, Santa even stopped by to visit our grandkids, which completely made their day and ours. Add in the beautiful lake view and it was just a perfect, memorable stop. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back.“

The place is older but well, keep up. There is also views of the lake. They also sell a few lake necessities here.“

“This is my favorite ice cream shop anywhere hands down. Delicious ice cream, so many choices, great portions, and great service. I was helped by a very kind young man last week. I believe his name is Merlin. I wanted to try many flavors and he served me with a smile and great attitude the entire time! All the young servers there are great, but Merlin is one of my favorites! Thank you Zoe’s! And they are open until 10pm in the summer! Can’t wait to come back for more ice cream!“

“Big Al’s has a special vibe. From the minute you step foot in the door, you can see from the memorabilia and the menu that this place has been around for a while, and it has its very own personality. Is it upscale? No. It is modern? Also no. But it speaks to who Big Al’s is in the community and what they serve to the people who come here. We live in Iowa, but when come to Ashland, we always pop in for lunch. This time, I had two ground beef tacos which came with refried beans and rice. My husband had a regular burger. Both items were very good, served hot by friendly people and we left full and enjoyed our time there. Again, we’ll be back when we’re in Oregon next year.“

“Fantastic experience. I could not believe the restaurant wasn’t packed, the food was delicious and the atmosphere perfect. It’s cozy and refined without being so dark that you need to use a flashlight to see the menu. The food is unique but not so strange that you have no idea what anything will taste like. It was so good I even ate my vegetables. Dessert the was the perfect balance of sweetness. I ordered the fries and the wagyu beef and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. I’m not even sure what they were seasoned with but I will be thinking about them every time I eat fries again in the future. The beef was incredible tender. The drink I had was well balanced, strong but with a good alcohol and correct mixes. So many restaurants have switched to bottom shelf liquor and lately I’ve been avoiding ordering a drink but was so happy I did. My server was amazing and helped me navigate the menu because everything sounded amazing. The real beauty of the restaurant isn’t just in the delicious food or the friendly staff but that everything was special, you can tell that the owners and chefs and servers all care about what they were doing. Truly a special experience.“

Ashland is definitely in the top three best cities in Oregon and Oberon’s should be on the short list of best bars in town!“

“This little hidden gem is a must try! Heard of it for years but finally decided to try it out. I ordered a Cubano, they offered me a traditional Cubano with ham or a special one they had with their own prepped meats. I went with their version and it did not disappoint generally have feed back, as in (you should have left this out/added something else) to make the food better. This case was unprecedented. For the first time, I was left speechless there is nothing I would have changed or added! the Sammich was perfect!“

“We stayed at the hotel so we came here often. Usually so the kids can have desserts, and the wife and i can have drinks while we play board games. Got diner here one night after a late outing. It was OK, served its purpose. Decently priced. The staff was very friendly. Let us hang out and finish our games even after they've closed up.“
