“Up and coming little nano brewery in the north side of town, no food served but Thai food truck right out front and home brew supply store next door. The location is a modern mix of industrial brewing equipment and hip tasting room decor with bar games, small patio area, etc. The staff and owners were really friendly, happily providing tastes and information about the establishment. Started with the Ginger Kid Vanilla Red Ale, a decent red, malty in flavor and medium body. Moved on to Gnome Bard Wit, which was a refreshingly nice and light beer for a hot day! Decent bite to it. Also tried the Tiny House Session, another good one, better than the previous in my opinion, more suited for a laid back beer to quench the thirst without getting too buzzed. Lastly, came the Common Cut, which I did not care for too much. All in all a great visit, being a fairly new brewery, I look forward to what they have in store next. The food was fantastic, from the burgers to salads to the pretzel and pizza and chicken tenders on the kids menu, everything was fresh, homemade and delicious. We tried the beer sampler- it did not disappoint- huge variety, loved the hazy. Even the cab was amazing, which is not usually the case when you visit a brewery. “Always a great brewery and a nice spot down town to pop in for a beer and a pretzel. IPAs are their Forte. I had the vienna lager which is great albeit a hoppy vienna. They just won 2 more medals at GABF this year so pop in for a pint or 3. They medaled on the breakside IPA so grab a pour.“

“If you are looking to host a private event in Portland, look no further than StormBreaker! We were looking for months for a spot to host a Friday night welcome event for our wedding and so many places we spoke with were either was flaky, expensive or couldn't accommodate 100 people, particularly in the case of rain. I found StormBreaker about a month before the event and they turned out to be perfect! They rented us their private room and reserved a portion of their enclosed/heated patio for us as well. We had a dedicated server for the party and ultimately didn't have to pay them anything for the space beyond the food and drink we ordered. They were super communicative and easy to work with in the lead-up to the party as well. I could not be happier about how the night went!“

We had an issue when our food came out and he happily remade the food for us without a second thought, and comped our second round of drinks for any residual trouble. Can come have a beer and play some of their board games. They do not have many options for those who do not drink beer/alcohol though outside of water.“

“Awesome brewery experience unlike any other in Portland. Ambiance was amazing and one of a kind giving you almost like a dark medieval type vibe with metal music playing in the background. Not to mention all the beers were amazing proving that this isn't just some gimmicky place. It definitely has the vibes and the beers to match. Staff was super helpful and nice in recommending some popular choices based on my taste and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're into good beer and into goth vibey places.“

“My great nephew was playing drums in a large band to a packed house upstairs in Crystal Ballroom. A dozen or so of assorted family had come to Portland to partake and as the matinee was wrapping up in the late afternoon I said to the drummers mom, who was kind of our ring-leader, I'd go downstairs and stake out a big table for all of us to eat. Shortly after sitting at the largest table in the farthest from the bar corner of the side room, the bartender came to tell me they weren't really staffed to be serving in that room. I told him I had maybe a dozen people coming down from upstairs and we'd be an easy, forgiving crowd. He looked dubious, and said he'd need to check with the manager. He was back quickly putting out menus and arranging chairs. Our final number was ten, and our only server was this same guy who was also one of maybe two bartenders for the whole place. As he took our orders he said it would likely take up to an hour for the kitchen to produce our food, because dozens of people from upstairs had come in as well. Our drinks came quickly, and the food arrived in much less time than he suggested. Every order was correct. To my knowledge everybody liked what they ordered and the prices seemed about right. He did not seem in the slightest rattled by adding our big group to his personal workload and came back a few times to see how were all doing and take additional orders for drinks. And the drummer and the rest of us we were out of there well in time for the evening show at 8:00. I don't know if this really is an excellent place, but it sure was for us.“

“What's not to love about Mayfly?! Mayfly always has one of the best draft and bottle selections in the Portland area that always feels new every time I come in. Prices are excellent, staff and the owner are wonderful people, and there are plenty of great events to check out each week. Also a great selection of food vendors during the weekend. “Always a terrific time. The rustic setting, reliable McMenamins food and beverages, and very engaging service staff. The place was swamped for a Sunday afternoon (plus a private event on the balcony) so the kitchen was understandably a bit slower than usual. Otherwise a total hit.“

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

The Hostess / Bartender / Waitress Lady greeted us warmly🥰, cleared a table, and made some excellent meal, drink, and appetizer suggestions. We both ordered the "Dungeon Burger"; my friend had the soup side and I chose the fries. I had an excellent sweet-tart Moscato blend to sip with my meal and my friend chose a soft drink.

While we waited, the music ambience was excellent rock music loud enough to give us privacy in our conversation while not being loud enough to hinder our conversation.

Our food arrived... WOW, the fries were fries, but the Dungeon burger was a most excellent flavorful experience. The usual toppings were good, but the burger patties were cooked to perfection !!! The flavor was terrific with pink in the middle, just as I love it. It was a culinary delight bursting with flavor, moist and juicy. I found it juicy and messy (if it's not messy, it isn't awesome) and incredibly delicious. I WILL return !!! I can easily recall the
flavor to this minute.

For a late evening meal, I highly recommend this McMenamins !!!“

“Stopped in to try the burgers on a Monday night. The vegan burger choice tasted good, although a bit overpriced with the up charge of $2 for the single vegan patty substitute, then minus the cheese and sauce, when the meat burgers are double patty at $17 with the works. Then add the $2.50 for fries. So I felt a little bit gouged for being a vegan. Also they were out of diet coke. They do have a full bar despite the google listing only beer & wine. Vibe was relaxing on this Monday night, server was pleasant but only one server on duty and then the payment system crashed so not server's fault that things moved a bit slow. I'll try this place again some day to see if things improve.“
