He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. “The goat curry and the eggplant curry were extremely delicious, very flavorful and fresh. The goat meat was very tender. The portions were huge. The server was very helpful, and the atmosphere was clean and friendly in a pretty tree lined street mall. Would definitely come back.”

“We had the best time here. The employees were all so nice. The service was excellent. The food eas so much better that I was expecting, I highly recommend the Crispy Pork Belly Tacos. A ton of old school arcade games. Best of all, you have to be 21 to enter. So it arcade time without kids. I did also try a couple hard ciders on tap. I had never had cider in tap and it did not disappoint. Excellent place for a fun night out.”

The staff helped recommend their favs which was outstanding. I couldn’t decide, so I had a few different dishes with my husband. Ice cream was perfect and they gave huge scoops. “Offbeat Cafe is so cozy, and it's got plenty of space to sit and work on something or to just chill with some coffee. Their pastries are unique and tasty, and they've got a nice selection of seasonal and interesting drinks! Also, free bubbly water! They also have their own (small) parking lot, but there are lots of other places to park as well. 10/10 my favorite coffee shop in Salem!”

“I love the laid back atmosphere where delicious food is served. Fresh salads with a variety of ingredients are very satisfying. The hearty wraps are made with wonderful combinations. My favorite are the sweet potato fries. They have a variety of sauces for dips too. I deeply appreciate the fact that they deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. I have limited mobility and have difficulty preparing large meals. I can have the family over and be a happy hostess as a result of this service.”

“This is my new favorite breakfast spot. So many unique pastries I change my mind about what to get 5 times before ordering. The decor and atmosphere is really nice too. Both times I went there was a musician playing live music. The only downside is it’s hard to find parking sometimes.”
