“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!”

“I didn’t think I’d find good Korean food in Salem - I was raised in San Diego & lived in Portland for a few years so I’m a lil food snob - but seriously y’all, this place is a gem. I’m used to having to pay over $100 for good Korean food, and extra for banchan - this place hooked it up! They refilled our banchans not just once but THRICE! And they were genuinely sweet the whole time. The food was fantastic - authentic and felt homemade. The portions were great, taste was great - overall a wonderful experience, and I am looking forward to bringing folks here!
Also - they do a lot of community/philanthropic work. You can taste/see it in their food - it looks like they’re here to actually give good food, not just make money. I’m super happy to have found this place!”

“Online ordering is very easy and when we picked it up, the food looked even better than in the photos. Our order was done right on time and was the most delicious Thai food I’ve had in Oregon or NY. I can’t remember having Thai food anywhere else, but it’s likely better than that too. The salad rolls and papaya salad were my favorite but the grilled pork was an important part of the meal.”

“The goat curry and the eggplant curry were extremely delicious, very flavorful and fresh. The goat meat was very tender. The portions were huge. The server was very helpful, and the atmosphere was clean and friendly in a pretty tree lined street mall. Would definitely come back.”

The only downfall is parking. Finding a parking space can be a little difficult but the service was great and I had an awesome time with my family.

“Offbeat Cafe is so cozy, and it's got plenty of space to sit and work on something or to just chill with some coffee. Their pastries are unique and tasty, and they've got a nice selection of seasonal and interesting drinks! Also, free bubbly water! They also have their own (small) parking lot, but there are lots of other places to park as well. 10/10 my favorite coffee shop in Salem!”
