“We came on a warm Friday in July and sat we felt very comfortable eating our picnic outside under umbrellas. Josie was professionally friendly, serving excellent selection of wines for our tastings. “This place has sentimental value for me, but even without that I give it 5/5. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“

“We showed up later in the evening on a busy Saturday for burgers and beer to celebrate a birthday. Kaytlyn was amazing, accommodating our group, providing great service, and even leading the Growler Room in a birthday song. Service with smile, great food...we love this place!“

“We met our Son from out of town for lunch. I had a gift card and we've been wanting to go there. Everyone was so friendly it felt like it wasn't our first time being there. The service was excellent and the food was so good and the portions were ample. We will definitely be dining there again.

“We had a delightful visit at Alexana. Mike did an outstanding job describing the Alexana gravity-based winemaking approach, coupled with a tour of the cellar at the beginning. We focused on Alexana’s Pinots, tasting 5 different wines. We particularly appreciated the way the wines were presented, in “pairings”, which allowed us compare and contrast the wines. We will visit again!“

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !“

“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

“My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.“

“My husband and I have driven past this place for years and on a whim, decided to try it. The environment was cozy and felt like a perfect small town diner. We ordered two chicken fried steaks, chef salad, rosemary fries and 3 bacon, two eggs and pancakes. The food was beautiful and the portions were large! The pancakes were fluffy and moist and the garlic bread that came with my chef salad, made my husband smile. Overall the food was fufilling and didnt make us feel groggy afterwards. The waitress was attentive and super sweet. Worth the money we paid!“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“We had a wonderful time at Kramer Vineyards staying over in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. The location is sublime, rolling hills planted with grapes interspersed with forest. The spot for larger RVs is very private as it’s nestled between the vines. We had an excellent bottle of sparkling rose in beautiful glasses and took one bottle of Pinot Blanc to go.“

“We had a great time when we visited the Winery in August. Outstanding and professionally trained Somms put Domaine Serene into a league of their own. We joined their wine club, and had some shipping issues with our first order. The box was dropped, and a couple of the bottles were damaged. Kristi Morin and Jesse Gardner from the Wine Club jumped right in and immediately replaced those bottles. Their personal service was over and above, and greatly appreciated. We belong to almost a dozen wine clubs, and nobody delivers the personal service that Domaine Serene does. Thank you for wonderful wines, great service and a commitment to your customers.“

“Such amazing food! And the portions are HUGE!!!!! Worth every penny. We get El Primo once every two weeks it seems ha! It’s that good! And look at the size of that burger! We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!“

“Must start with full disclosure--my wife, Sunshine and I have never been there--BUT, having just completed an AMA waterways wine cruise in France we met wonderful people from Stoller, including Gary Mortensen who presented wine tasting of their excellent wines and enthusiastic, humorous lectures. We sampled many great French wines on this cruise, but none topped the Stoller chardonnays we tasted. The Stoller Family Estate is definitely on our "bucket list". We also met Bill Stoller's lovely sister, Nancy. We tasted a wine Bill named after her and it was to die for! Thanks Stoller for sending your lively group on our cruise. “Unbelievable. A hidden McMinnville gem. In business for 17 years. They make their own tortilla chips which were unlike anything I have ever tasted. Light, warm and crisp. The pork burrito was plentiful (2 meals for an old guy), very moist and tender. Rice and beans were home cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Because of the high ceilings with exposed beams your conversation stays at your table as there is no echo. Prices were very reasonable. You may sit inside or out. Go!“

“If you are craving a sandwich, burger, or salad with a refreshing beverage, this is a place for you. We ordered the prime rib on a Saturday night. It was flavorful and moist. Our CC only critique is that we would have liked a little more variety on the menu. The service was excellent at the pub and cellar“

“I have only had 1 other opportunity to eat on the roof at this hotel so we made a special trip here to see if we could do it again and we were in luck because the rooftop was open for business so that was amazing. The waitstaff was very nice and the food was delicious. The only real complaint I had was the way they shade the tables on the roof. Unfortunately we got a table which was in partial direct sun and as we ate we became more and more exposed until half the table was scorching in the heat ao we had to do some shuffling to survive lol.“
