I went here on my birthday to pick up a free cake yes on your birthday they let you pick out one medium size cake and I chose the Biscoff cookie butter cake so delicious moist flavorful yeah and there were pieces of Biscoff cookies in there 🤤“

“My daughter asked my something to eat I was clueless what can I buy for her to eat so I spot Great Harvest Bread Co I admit I never had hear this place before also did not know they sell soup. I ask the cashier what they have for kids mw knowing that my daugther is so picky to eat just 6 years old and the cashier was so kind on offer I think it was a potaoe soup with halft of Turkey sándwich, for my surprice the soup brings chip, and a delicious bread, my daugther LOVES IT she ate all both of it I was SPEACHLESS because knowing her is A headache when it is time for eat. She keeps saying it’s so YUMMY mama and told by now on it will be her FAVORITE place to eat!!!“

“The store was clean and organized well to fit the relatively small space. It's nice you can see the workers preparing your order. The cookies are served nicely warmed or refreshingly chilled. This particular store has a wider variety of available cookie flavor than other Crumbl stores. The cookies are giant and delicious! I ordered 1 of almost everything on the menu - 7 in total, and they all look really good. So far I've only tried the chocolate chunk cookie, which is semi-sweet and great as a classic chocolate chunk cookie. It lives up to its name in every way, as does the chocolate chip cookie. Both are good for those who like chewy cookies.“

“Probably my favourite croissants in the city! The dough is perfectly flaky, crispy, light, and full of flavour.

We tried both quiches — the vegetarian and the bacon — and they were absolutely delicious. The tart shell was buttery and just amazing.

Their croissants are the best I’ve had so far in this wonderful city. We also tried the lemon poppy seed pastry — very nice, though a bit sweet for my taste (I’m sure others will love it). The chuffin with raspberry and rose was a great combination, and my personal favourite was the pain suisse (they don’t call it that here, but that’s what it’s called in France) — absolutely delightful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, which made the visit even better — until I learned they never actually receive the tips customers leave. That was disappointing, to say the least. Imagine running such a great bakery and still keeping your employees’ tips… classy move, right? Maybe the team should start a co-op and bake ethics into the recipe next time.“

“there were plenty of options and the staff were great. though it was a bit expensive for what you get. most of the appeal seems to be how the treats look not so much the taste. they were okay, definitely not bad but a bit underwhelming. i don't regret going but i wouldn't go again. if you are looking for something to post on social media this is probably the place for you. otherwise it's one of those places where it's not good or bad.. just sort of neutral.“

“I've never taken the time to write a review for any business, but am pretty put off and have the time. Today is my husband's and my 11th wedding anniversary. We had Saint Cupcake at our wedding with a cupcake tower and wedding topper cake in 2011. To celebrate our 11 years of marriage, we went to go pick up cupcakes. Based on online information and the sign on the door, the business closes at 5pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 4:20PM - 40 minutes before closing. Both doors were shut and locked, but there were two employees inside and cupcakes on the back counters. They ignored us, even though I attempted to open each of the double doors - they wouldn't even look up. I knocked on the door and the woman sweeping reluctantly came and opened the door and told us that they had unfortunately closed early due to some issue. I tried to explain to her we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had had Saint Cupcake at our wedding 11 years prior. She said they didn't have much of a selection left anyway and closed the door on us. It was a shocking and weird interaction and I was really put off. I will never go out of my way to give Saint Cupcake my business again in the future. 👎👎“

I have been ordering from here for about a year now and Eva, the shop owner, is so nice. She provides excellent customer service and the shipping is pretty quick. “Excellent! Not an egg tart fan but loved these. Crispy shell and creamy egg custard - not like some places taste like jello. Love sesame balls with red bean filling. Two delicious treasures: baked BBQ pork buns - generously filled; and beef curry pastry - flakey crust and tasty curry beef. Bought so many other goodies. Also, got the green roll-up cake with coconut cream filling - lightly sweet. I left the room to get my phone for pics, came back to 3 empty boxes already put into the trash. Good thing I ate mine on the drive back. The highlight was the great customer service from Scarlett, Becky, and Eddie. Thank you all for your patient Kindness and attentive assistance.“

“I've been gluten and dairy free since 2021... not by choice. That's also the last time I had baked goods that actually tasted like they were supposed to. I tried several items from Gem Bakery including: cupcakes, chocolate cake, glazed donut, caramel brownie, chocolate cookie, and bagels. Oh my goodness, they were just how I remembered them tasting! Texture was spot-on, flavor was delicious, and I wouldn't have known the desserts were gluten and dairy free at all. There were no gritty or gummy textures in the wheat flour replacement and there wasn't an overwhelming coconut flavor where dairy was replaced. I hope to return to this basket every time we visit Portland!“

“I have fond memories of this bakery pre-covid when the pastries were actually FULL of fillings so I’m a little biased.
The quality is good and I enjoy the occasional treat (savory and sweet) when I’m in the area. The amount of filling is probably 1/3 of what it use to be.
Service is friendly: the young man who helped me today went to the back and brought out warm curry buns for me!

I would love to see a return of to the previous glory that was King’s Bakery ✨generously✨ stuffed bbq pork buns and pineapple pastries but can’t complain too much since I already ate 4 of their goodies today 😋“

“A nice and inviting pastry shop located off Se Hawthorne area. They have a variety of items to choose from. With this visit, I chose half a dozen of macarons and mixed berry cheesecake. The cheesecake was good easy to eat. For the macarons, I enjoyed the animal cookie flavor. This one reminded me of my childhood with those animal cookies.“

“This bakery has loads of items with interesting stuffings and things on the outside. The rolls with pork floss wrapped in egg, buns with meat or taro, to pies and and sorts that costs not a lot of money. The service is quick, not a lot of chatter but helpful. You can also order hot soup noodles or porridge if you spot the little a-frame with some Chinese scrawled on it (use your translation app). The decor is functional, meant for Asian families and sharing is preferred. I truly do love this place.“
