“Very good menu. Great coffee. They are very accommodating on special orders. Only complaint is my wife's breakfast was very cold. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, and cold toast. I really wish restaurants would heat up the plates for hot food and chill for cold foods. I love going to a Mexican restaurant because you're last bite of food is still hot as your first. LoL. We will definitely give it another try and hope for the best.“

“My home away from home. I’ve worked in a lot of establishments as a host and as an employee at all levels. This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “Delicious food. The kind of place that a week later your body will begin to crave eating there again and the cravings won’t stop until they’re satisfied with a return visit. Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.“

“SO GOOD!! Love that you can make it your way. The original Yumm bowl is fantastic. My daughter ordered the Hot n Jazzy bowl. YUM!! The sesame jalapeño salsa is super bomb. And I can never get enough of the Yumm sauce. Love all the healthy, high quality ingredient options, and service is super fast. Totally hits the spot. So YUMM!!“

“We had an amazing dining experience at Seize The Cafe. The staff was so welcoming, genuine and friendly. The at home atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The service was spot on. But the most wonderful thing about this gem of a restaurant, is the food. Clearly Chef Chad loves food. You can taste it in every bite. He is skilled in creating scrumptious flavors and unbeatable meals. Can't wait to go back! and don't hesitate to order pie and ice cream to round out your meal. Both homemade and absolutely out of this world.“

This is the exact opposite experience I’ve had at the Gateway location, which has always been awful. Definitely worth the walk into the hospital, and great comfort food for if you’re staying in the hospital!“

“We went here for the first time today, after I had been picking up several DoorDash orders here. I had the best experience my 3 year old had decision remorse once our food showed up and they replaced what she ordered with what she now wanted. My only dislike is that the employees don’t wear name tags so I can’t properly shout out. But everyone in here is great. Thank you!“

“Food items were many options and great, service was great as well. Breakfast does cut off by 1 pm but many other great choices. Grease from fried foods changed and cleaned regularly. This recent time been total of three times, I had breakfast and really enjoyed it, bacon cooked perfect, eggs over medium(also done right), and good buiscuit. Prior I have had a burger and sweet potato fries. It was really good! Prior to that a french dip, and onion rings (both were great). If you are looking for reasonable good food with easy acesss off the I 5 then you should try here. If local definitely should eat here.“

“Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“Jackalope is close to my office, so I sometimes stop in to play pinball on my lunch break. I’ve also ended up here on dates a few times.

During the day, the vibe is mostly people grabbing lunch or playing the lottery games. I wouldn’t necessarily choose Jackalope as the start of a date...the lighting is a little harsh for that. It’s more the place you end up after dinner went well, so you decide to take a walk...and then the walk is going well, so you decide to grab a drink and play some pool or pinball.

I’ve only had vodka sodas and tots here, but I enjoyed both. Overall, it’s a fun, casual place to keep a good night going.“

“I came here very unsure. Do not like trying new to me things. This restaurant hooked me. The lady was very nice and accommodating and answered my questions. I had the braised beef bowl sub chicken, added cheese and sour cream minus chipotle bbq sauce. It was awesome. It had flavor, a tiny bite that I liked… normally do not like any. The grilled chicken was done, moist and very well seasoned. Not over bearing, but mouth watering. I now have a new favorite!“

“I was staying in Eugene a few days house/ cat sitting for my son and Barger Grill & Pub house was just a couple blocks away. I thought it might be more like a bar but it wasnt. It was a actual eating place.
I had the most spectacular steak bites ever! They were soooo amazing! The soup, coffee, the whole atmosphere was perfect.
I went back 2 nights later and had the hamburger sliders. They were amazing as well! Great service both nights and I will be back whenever I'm in Eugene. Definitely a great place and awesome food!“

“Wow! Never have I ever had such an incredible dining experience in my life. There I was: having the worst day of my life: I was told I only have one day left before going to prison because apparently I had committed “tax Freud”. I knew my last dinner before a life of incarceration must be at the University of Oregon GSH Fredhmarket Cafe. The employee by the name of Anna was so helpful, and even listened to me as I complained about my upcoming inprisonment. After eating my sandwich and talking with Anna I now face the bars of prison with welcome arms.“
