“My daughter and her husband recently took me to Loam Kitchen for dinner. The food is out of this world! I had salmon- it melted in my mouth and filled it with flavor. The flankin spare ribs were tasty as well. In fact, everything on the plate was excellent. Oh, my. I forgot to mention that tasty gluten free lemon cake. Heavenly. I recently had to go gluten free but at Loam Kitchen where they serve a number of gluten free dishes, I did not miss it at all. Thank you Chef Corey, for your fine cooking and for the comptetent help you have assembled.”

“A lovely experience in this farmhouse setting in wine country. We ordered the caviar and it was well allocated with understated buckwheat miniature waffles. The amuse bouche was a cute bite of flavorful mousse inside a tiny crispy cone. A nice start to the dedication of the chef. The mushroom tartlets were delicious and well worth ordering. The soup was stunning as well. Something that added a little surprise was the Green Salad with Lardons. The dressing very tasty. The duck plating was something to mention. Beautifully executed. Our table mate said the Beef Stroganoff was the best they have ever had. The drinks were nicely inventive and overall if you seek fine dining this should definitely be added to your list. We ordered off the menu and did not do the tasting menu. That will be left for another day along with the trolley cheese cart selections.”

“It was so fun to go back in the Pirate’s Den. Thanks to all those who are keeping that small-town staple going. I got the breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. I liked the large amount of cheese on the burrito. I wish it would have come with some salsa because the potatoes were a little dry by 9:30 am. The cinnamon roll icing and filling were great and I liked the to-go style packaging.”

“Must start with full disclosure--my wife, Sunshine and I have never been there--BUT, having just completed an AMA waterways wine cruise in France we met wonderful people from Stoller, including Gary Mortensen who presented wine tasting of their excellent wines and enthusiastic, humorous lectures. We sampled many great French wines on this cruise, but none topped the Stoller chardonnays we tasted. The Stoller Family Estate is definitely on our "bucket list". We also met Bill Stoller's lovely sister, Nancy. We tasted a wine Bill named after her and it was to die for! Thanks Stoller for sending your lively group on our cruise. I'm sure when we finally visit, you'll earn this five star rating! Say hi to Gary and Nancy for us.”

“I’ve eaten at Blind Pig several times and always had a great meal. Last Friday (February 27) I had the absolute best smash burger I’ve ever had. ANYWHERE. Lots of grilled onions, I had grease running down my arms. DELICIOUS!!! I don’t know if they have a new cook or what, but now I dream of that burger and can’t wait to go back.”

My family and I got the steak bites, cheese bread, mushroom raviolis and a pepperoni pizza. They were all amazing and the service was great as well.”

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !”

“Very fun place if you plan ahead and get into the 5 course set menu. The owner/head chef comes out and explains each dish and the wine pairing. Not a drinker myself but I smelled each wine with the food and recognized how they fit together. They served a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo for the fourth course which smelled amazing. It was paired with a slow cooked pork loin. The food was good Italian fare. Staff made it special. The owner is full of personality and stories. The show he puts on is half the reason to go. Great for a celebration as the restaurant celebrates with you.”

“It's a nice place. Huge quantities, the tacos were very good . Good seasoning, good flavour, good portions. Maybe a tad bit greasy but then that is what you come for.

Loads of side options and salsa options to choose from. There is a patio in front with picnic tables and with umbrellas to sit.

There is also a restroom inside the closed store which was very nice and clean..
