“We had a wonderful time at Kramer Vineyards staying over in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. The location is sublime, rolling hills planted with grapes interspersed with forest. The spot for larger RVs is very private as it’s nestled between the vines. We had an excellent bottle of sparkling rose in beautiful glasses and took one bottle of Pinot Blanc to go.“
“We had a delightful visit at Alexana. Mike did an outstanding job describing the Alexana gravity-based winemaking approach, coupled with a tour of the cellar at the beginning. We focused on Alexana’s Pinots, tasting 5 different wines. We particularly appreciated the way the wines were presented, in “pairings”, which allowed us compare and contrast the wines. We will visit again!“
“One of the most beautiful winery properties we’ve ever visited! We loved it so much we went back the next day. The service is amazing, the wine is delicious, and the views are picturesque! This is a must visit if you’re in the valley or looking for a new winery experience.“
“This is by far one of the best wineries I’ve been to in Oregon! The views of Mt. Hood are absolutely stunning, and the overall atmosphere is immaculate. The owners are incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even more enjoyable for me and my friends. Plus, they have the cutest dog! The wine and food were both fantastic, especially the Bulls Blend! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great wine-tasting experience in Oregon with friends or family.“
“I am visiting from Az and my son took me here, the owners have been here for a little less than a year and are simply wonderful. What a beautiful piece of the world with wonderful owners. Perfect“
“Great view and great snacks with the wine. Loved the entire time we spent there“
“Alex made this day incredible. Not only was it our friends bday, his mother passed this morning. He still wanted to wine taste and Alex made it incredible. From the personalized caring service to just being a downright great person, this was exactly what was needed. Fantastic wine doesn’t hurt but the personal service was incredible. Thank you Alex and Gran Moraine for the love and attention on a very difficult day.“

“Had a great tasting experience here on a rainy afternoon! So cozy inside on the couches and our host Brit was so lovely to talk to. I loved hearing about the history of the place and seeing the soil in jars 🤓 and the wines were excellent. I loved and would totally buy almost all of the ones we tasted. Great spot for wine tasting year round and love the wines!“
“I will definitely be back“
“Great place to visit, relax, and sip some great wines.“
“Beautiful evening with unique flights, stunning views, and passionate staff. It’s incredible to learn entrepreneurs' stories and how invested, they are in winemaking. We loved the Rieslings, will definitely visit again!“
“Ribbon Ridge wines are some of the best of Oregon Wines. Ribbon Ridge is a tiny AVA that produces the amazing grapes. Ridgecrest (RR Wines) knows how to make the most of those grapes. The added plus is fantastic owners and staff. Highly recommend visiting their tasting cottage..“
“We brought in friends from out of town and from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed. The vineyard is stunning and the wines were expertly crafted, the genuine care and passion that goes into each bottle is evident. Highly recommend!“
“What an amazing recommendation from NW Wine Shuttle and Kim. We squeezed them in and it ended up being my favorite part of the day! Spending time with Russell and the heart and story of Flaneur gave me a little bit of Paris married with delicious wine of the Willamette Valley. I cannot wait to return for food pairing and getting the most our of my new membership and reason to head to quaint Carlton from Portland as much as I can and recommending others as well as clients. What a great stop, don't miss it.“
“We came on a warm Friday in July and sat we felt very comfortable eating our picnic outside under umbrellas. Josie was professionally friendly, serving excellent selection of wines for our tastings. One of our party was a wine buyer and loved chatting with her. We can tell Josie loves what she does! Thank you, Lemelson for a wonderful time!“
“So far, each vineyard experience has been different. Here, we’re at Dominio IV Wines—upstairs in a tasting room all to ourselves—listening to Miles Davis and then Elton (Yellow Brick Road) on a turntable. A wonderful venue: intimate in a home setting, more expansive in the barn.“
“We had a wonderful tasting experience at Saffron, thanks to our host, Adam. He was the right amount of everything: attentive, funny, informative and so accommodating. Our wine purchase was mixed up and Adam went out of his way to make it right. That’s the kind of customer satisfaction that is so hard to find!
We will definitely be back and bring friends!!“
“Had a fantastic tasting at Patricia Green Cellars! The wines were exceptional — beautifully made and full of character. Huge shoutout to Tekla, who was incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, and passionate about the wines. She made the experience both fun and educational. A must-visit in the Willamette Valley!“
“For a very intimate tasting of some truly great wines, Native Flora should be on the top of your list. Looking forward to opening our bottles we bought and getting more from this cutting edge wine maker. Beautiful home, property, and dog 💕“
“Delicious wines; cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Jasmina will take good care of you!“
“Wonderful experience! We had a reservation for 6 and were seated at a table outside, which was absolutely wonderful. The guide for our tasting was excellent and the wines were top notch. We joined the wine club and are very excited for our first shipment. We also enjoyed our interactions with the cat and dog on the premises.“
“I went to Carlo & Julian Winery today with a friend. I haven't been there since 2019. I liked this winery then and I love it now! 10 wonderful wines to taste and he just happened to have made a pulled pork and homemade chimichurri which was AMAZING both food and wine. If I had the money I would have come home with a variety case. Pricing of wines are extremely reasonable and the quality of the wines are amazing! I'm not a Pinot Noir person as a rule, but he had 3 that I could drink very happily. He also had the best, bar none, a GSM!!!! That did go home with me.😁 The 2021 Merlot-Malbec was so delicious that it also came home with me. The Syrah and Melbec oh my! Seriously if you haven't been or it's been a while you need to go! I plan I going again and bringing more friends to try his amazing wines! See you soon Carlo & Julian Winery!!!“
“A family experience with a wine kicker!“
“We had a drop-in tasting with Liz, who was so kind and funny! She explained the wines were more dry (we prefer sweet) however they exceeded our expectations! The rosé was fantastic. We were able to have a private picnic out on the patio as well.“
“An amazing experience a great hospitality. Ryan always makes the experience for my wife and our guests enjoyable. I truly hate to tell you about this hidden gem but these guy's deserve the recognition. Hands down my favorite place to hangout and enjoy the sports on TV at the tasting room.“
“Really nice estate wines. Jody does a great job talking through the history of the vineyards and describing the wines. If you're buying 6 bottles or more, consider signing up for the wine club for additional discounts and free shipping.“
“Great experience! You get to meet the people that do the work, they have great pride!!“
“We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon at Sealionne and look forward to going back. The views were stunning and the hospitality was supburb. All of the wine we tasted felt pretty darn special and I am excited to enjoy the bottle of pinot noir we brought home with us.“
“The owners were fantastic, and so were the wines! We were on our way back from Cedar Hill to McMinville, and based off of other Google reviews decided to stop at Kason Vineyards for some wine tasting. It's a small operation owned by a husband & wife who are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Their wines are superb, especially their pinot noir! This is a MUST VISIT if you're in the area!“
“Incredible hidden winery. We went here on a whim and we are so happy we did. The view is beautiful. The service was terrific. The wines were delicious. I highly recommend making the trip here. I can’t wait to return and to share it with others.“
“Such a great wine tour and tasting! We had Eric as our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge (as well as a great photographer for group shots). They were very accommodating when we ran into some transportation issues too. The winery has such a cool history and amazing views! This is a must do when visiting the area!“
“I had wonderful time at a winery for my first time!!! I’m definitely going back, thank you so much for the wonderful service.“
“beautiful wines, great people and spectacular views“
“Such a cool experience. Our awesome tour guide (Grape Escape- Ralph Stinton) who we highly recommend set us up with David and a few other great earthy French style Pinot Noir producers which we prefer. My wife and I sat on David’s back porch with Walker and had EXCELLENT Pinot Noirs. It felt like sitting with a friend just enjoying great wine before David took off for the coast with Walker. He had really interesting stories of his experiences and we felt like we really got to know him.
David was kind enough to delay his trip to the coast for us and we are very thankful he did. We are new members of his wine club and look forward to receiving our first case in the fall. Highly recommend visiting particularly if you like earthy French burgundy style wine.“
“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.
My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“
“Super yummy wines, wonderful people, and a nice, laidback vibe. ❤️“
“Fantastic educational and immersive experience at the tasting room.
Diane was so welcoming, warm and passionate about giving us a through education on the different types of wine.
Appreciated the views from the room and it's beautiful decor !
Strongly recommend this experience to other people.“
“We had an amazing time during our visit! While we didn't sample every wine, the Cabernet Franc truly stood out for us. The winery itself is intriguing—it may appear to be a simple storefront in the city, but it boasts stunning views of the valley and mountains. We also enjoyed the bocce ball courts, and the staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the prices were very reasonable!“
“Good variety of wines with a wine maker that has great passion for his work.“
“Ken is always so nice and helpful when my wife and I show up. I love going and getting tasting flight and just relaxing in the back on the couches. The storefront is very warm and inviting and if you get a chance to join the wine club the parties, he throws are so wonderful. Look them up and go have a taste. His 2021 Chardenay is what hooked us and we've been going back often ever since. The bonus is that Carlton is such a cute little town with lots of little shops and spots to eat or grab a cup of coffee.“
“Cozy and personal wine tasting with a delicious selection of Rose, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. A host who was informative, both in the history of the area and of the libations we drank. Check it out if you're in town and looking for a classy way to expand on your wine tasting experience.“
“Incredible experience. Had the place to ourselves on a Thursday afternoon. Ray the manager of Craft guided us through the tasting and even gave us some extra wines to try as well. He was charming and gregarious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If your in North Willamette you need to go to Craft, a definite must stop in Carlton“
“Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“
“Great wines, relaxed atmosphere, nice little farm there as well. Winemaker is very knowledgeable about all the grapes.“
“Our visit to Laurel Ridge Winery was one of the most memorable experiences of our Oregon wine trip. Set on a beautiful 240-acre estate in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, this second-generation, family-owned winery embodies everything that makes Oregon wine country special — authenticity, passion, and a deep respect for the land.
We were greeted warmly by Kira Teppola, who now carries on the legacy started by her father, founder David Teppola. From the moment she began sharing her family’s story — from her father’s early fascination with French wine to his pioneering belief in the Willakenzie Loam soils — we were captivated. Kira’s knowledge of the land, the vines, and the winemaking process was extraordinary. Her enthusiasm was contagious; we hung on every word and felt truly connected to the spirit of Laurel Ridge. Even the family vineyard dog, who was initially a bit cautious, became our friend by the end of the visit!
The wines were exceptional. My favorite was the 2017 Barrel Select Pinot Noir, beautifully balanced and expressive of the terroir. We enjoyed it so much we opened a bottle that very night. The next day, I couldn’t stop thinking about the bright, refreshing 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, so we went back just to buy more! Kira graciously set us up with a picnic table outside under a heat lamp so we could enjoy lunch overlooking the estate — and even poured us a little more wine “so we wouldn’t get thirsty.”
It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine — where every glass tells a story, and every detail reflects generations of care. Laurel Ridge isn’t just a winery; it’s a living family legacy built on passion, perseverance, and love for the land.
If you’re exploring the Willamette Valley, don’t miss this place. Come for the wine, stay for the warmth of the people. We’ll be back again and again.“
“Ken Wright in Carlton, Oregon is a beautiful place for a delicious Pinot tasting. The tasting room is fabulous and the outside patio even better. Great wines, great staff ( I wish I had written down the gal’s name that hosted us) as she was knowledgeable, understood our palate and offered additional wines she thought we would like plus she was so fun. She also showed us the 1/2 Bottles we purchased for our at home wine tasting that evening. And of course we purchased other bottles. I recommend booking or stopping in Ken Wright Cellers.“

“We had a great second time. The first time we visited, my sister and brother in law were visiting from Germany, the place is gorgeous, great pictures all around.
During this visit only wife and I came, it was a BDay celebration, they treated us wonderfully. One of the guys speaks Russian, I think that's a great asset to have around, and then, more guests you may have.
Thank you all for your candid assistance, well see you back sometime soon.“
