We wandered by after having a bad experience at another winery (sat for 25 minutes while no one so much as looked at us), and could not have been more pleased with the service we received at Kramer. It completely turned our day around. The wine is excellent and we even got to chat with the winemaker! Don't miss the charcuterie board either. Delicious.“

“We're wine club members and have been here often. Always enjoy tastings at Alexana, but this was especially delightful. Wonderful host who helped us compare the vintages and the vineyards. We sat outside overlooking the vineyards, the January sun streaming in. Charcuterie was just right. Alexana wines are lovely.“

Spending time with Russell and the heart and story of Flaneur gave me a little bit of Paris married with delicious wine of the Willamette Valley. “Ribbon Ridge wines are some of the best of Oregon Wines. Ribbon Ridge is a tiny AVA that produces the amazing grapes. Ridgecrest (RR Wines) knows how to make the most of those grapes. The added plus is fantastic owners and staff. Highly recommend visiting their tasting cottage..“

“We had an absolute blast visiting Patricia Green Cellars! We were a group of four women who range in wine education and interest. I booked PGC because I'd heard that they'd have the best range of Pinot Noirs (Oregon's most famous grape) for the newbies in our group. We arrived at 3pm on the Friday of a long weekend. It was quiet when we arrived, but we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming vibes. We were sat at a large table indoors, from which we enjoyed great 180 degree views. Yes, even from inside! Bottled water and a cheese plate were already laid out upon our arrival. Abigail was our server and wine educator. She was absolutely fantastic - amiable, humorous, and knowledgeable. She provided us THE BEST Oregon Wine 101 class and served a range of Pinots, allowing us to really understand the vastness of the Pinot grape. Moreover, she was just the best intro to the area. She gave us great recommendations on food, bars, and other wineries we might want to consider (while also telling us we'd planned well, lol).

We'd recommend PCG as a great place to start any Willamette Valley wine weekend!“

“We went to L'Angolo Estate Winery during our trip to Oregon wine country. This is a fabulous winery with amazing wine. The staff member(Gaelen) was very welcoming and informative. We loved the tasting room, with its fireplace and huge open windows looking out onto the vines in the vineyard. The tasting included a fantastic charcuterie that had some nicely sourced, delicious cheese and meats. I would highly recommend this place.“

“We just returned from a fantastic tasting experience at Trisaetum. While the wines were excellent as was the setting, what really made it an experience to remember was the hospitality we received from Alice. We have done our fair share of winery tastings over the years and the ones that end up being memorable are the ones where the hospitality is on par with, if not exceeds, the wine itself. Alice, we will raise our glass to you with a toast when whenever we open a bottle! Whether it’s the 7am Rose or 5pm Martini! Cheers!!“

“This place is an absolute vibe. The staff is incredible and knowledgeable, and the semi private seating areas throughout the tasting room are quaint and cozy. Looking for a more rustic vibe? They have an enormous barn with cozy seating as well. If the weather is great, enjoy the wrap around porch. Beyond that, their wines are fantastic! Small production (about 3K cases) AND they are VERY dog friendly!! Special thanks to Katie the tasting room manager who made my visit exceptionally special!“

Easily one of my favorite wineries to visit while in Oregon, especially for their organically farmed and beautifully nuanced expressions of Pinot Noir and other varietals.“

“I went to Carlo & Julian Winery today with a friend. I haven't been there since 2019. I liked this winery then and I love it now! 10 wonderful wines to taste and he just happened to have made a pulled pork and homemade chimichurri which was AMAZING both food and wine. If I had the money I would have come home with a variety case. Pricing of wines are extremely reasonable and the quality of the wines are amazing! I'm not a Pinot Noir person as a rule, but he had 3 that I could drink very happily. He also had the best, bar none, a GSM!!!! That did go home with me.😁 The 2021 Merlot-Malbec was so delicious that it also came home with me. The Syrah and Melbec oh my! Seriously if you haven't been or it's been a while you need to go! The Pinot Gris is smooth, flavorful, refreshing, and not too sweet. We highly recommend this wine!

“Our group came down from Northern Washington to the McMinnville Wine and Food Classic at the Evergreen Flight Museum. We decide to take a trip into Carlton and stopped by K&M Winery to have a glass of wine. The atmosphere is very inviting almost like your family and the wine is so good. The staff and the owners are delightful! Please stop by K&M Winery if you are in Carlton, Oregon and say hi to this amazing group of people.“

“My husband and I stopped at La Biblioteca yesterday, mainly because I'm a bibliophile! From the minute we walked in, we felt welcomed by Kalina, who was an absolutely wonderful hostess. She was extremely knowledgeable about wine and we chatted the entire time we visited, not only about wine but about books, travel, and life in the Willamette Valley. The tasting room is tastefully decorated with comfortable and adequate seating. We are not normally pinot noir drinkers but their wines have changed our minds. We purchased a few bottles and will look forward to visiting again.“

“Such a cool experience. Our awesome tour guide (Grape Escape- Ralph Stinton) who we highly recommend set us up with David and a few other great earthy French style Pinot Noir producers which we prefer. My wife and I sat on David’s back porch with Walker and had EXCELLENT Pinot Noirs. It felt like sitting with a friend just enjoying great wine before David took off for the coast with Walker. He had really interesting stories of his experiences and we felt like we really got to know him.

David was kind enough to delay his trip to the coast for us and we are very thankful he did. We are new members of his wine club and look forward to receiving our first case in the fall. Highly recommend visiting particularly if you like earthy French burgundy style wine.“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“We had an amazing time during our visit! While we didn't sample every wine, the Cabernet Franc truly stood out for us. The winery itself is intriguing—it may appear to be a simple storefront in the city, but it boasts stunning views of the valley and mountains. We also enjoyed the bocce ball courts, and the staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the prices were very reasonable!“

He was charming and gregarious and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If your in North Willamette you need to go to Craft, a definite must stop in Carlton“

“Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“
