“The food is better than average for a bar but what I really love is the bartenders and the freindly atmosphere.“

“I enjoy going there when the bartender with the bangs and glasses is there because she's always very friendly and talks with me as I'm sitting at the bar by myself. She also makes sure to ask me if I'm enjoying myself and the food that I'm eating. However, the last time I was there, there was a male bartender with a mustache and he hardly said two words to me. Lame. I'm so tired of male bartenders that have the personality of a wet towel. If you don't enjoy being in the hospitality industry, find another career.
Also, for the 45 minutes I was there there was absolutely NO music playing. The whole vibe of the bar was completely different, and not for the better.
I really enjoy the food and I usually enjoy the service, but I think I'm going to make sure that I keep walking by on the days when the mustache man is there. Not trying to be sexist, but like I said... So many male bartenders in Portland have absolutely no hospitality or conversational skills. It gets old. I'm a blue collar worker who is also in the industry and I'd really like to have some genuine hospitality when I go out and spend my hard-earned money in local establishments. If I can maintain my hospitable nature after being in the industry for many years, surely YOU CAN TOO! Lol. It isn't that hard to be friendly, hospitable and welcoming. And if it is??? You're probably in the wrong industry.“

“Found The Buffalo Gap last weekend while attending a bike Show. About a mile from my stay and way better than the Boujie hotel I was at. The Bartenders and Waitresses were all awesome Great service, nice smiles and great food and drink. Thank you all I appreciate you and my new hoodie.“

“This place is such a gem. I don't drink but the food is amazing. The water spinach beef salad is one of my favorite dishes at any PDX restaurant and the salt & pepper shrimp is so good. Well behaved dog friendly on the patio, but not kid friendly (21+). Soccer on the TVs whenever possible. Timbers, Trailblazers, 49ers & Seahawks, & other sportsball on TV. Daily food specials. Ordering their Super Nachos, meant for a group of 4-6, with just two meant getting guts-deep into a pile of tortilla, green onions, cheese, black olives, salsa, jalapenos, and a pile of guacamole and sour cream oozing from the top seemingly ready to explode. But with chicken and beef added on (we skipped the carnitas), this was one night's stand I would not forget. Classic rock and a smorgasbord of accumulated decor made the perfect arena for digging in rather than eating out leftovers later. “It’s a great local dive bar, it has great food and feels comfy and safe. They have an awesome back patio area with heaters. The staff is friendly and welcoming, as is the normal crowd.“

“I just went into this little Bar ? briefly to use the restroom honestly but I was so blown away by the way the people in there were able to make me feel in such a short amount of time that I wanted to leave a review. ??
The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??

“Really good food, good drinks; reasonable prices. The service got slower as it got later (same amount of people) but the server was cool. I paid for a song on the jukebox and could barely hear it; it was notably quieter than the house music. Small parking area.“
