“Ok...so 5 stars overall, but no 5 stars on subcategories. I know it's confusing. Allow me to explain.Food: it's not Ruth's Chris or El Gaucho. It's good and greasy bar food with a really limited selection. The happy hour wings, quesadilla, and Carne nachos are really good. All this is worth 3 stars but contributes to an overall 5 stars because it works well for this place and is the right business decision.Service: it's busy and the staff has difficulty keeping up. They're sweating to keep you happy. There could be an additional person on staff on football nights...for sure.Atmosphere: it's crazy loud on football nights. Such a great energy. People come in jerseys, poke the opposing team's fans, but always respectfully. If you can't handle the 'heat', there are tables outside year round, under a covered overhang. The owner is around on many days. Regulars are a plenty and will invade your space and make you engage. Layout and tables make it conducive to a fun evening for you! There's a small VLT space and I think that's a detriment, but maybe it was the best use of that odd space?All of those things in combination make this a 5-star place. I look forward to going back each time...but you gotta be expecting the vibe described or else this place can be a fast turn-off.“

“Terrific experience! My boyfriend has been here twice and couldn't wait to bring me. We live in the neighborhood and couldn't believe we hadn't found this place sooner. We were impressed by the presentation of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. We also enjoyed the best crab ragoons we've ever had (ordered 2 more to-go). Everything about the restaurant was clearly well thought-out. From the dining area to the bar to the bathroom, it is well-designed and extremely clean. “It's been a while I've been here and their menu has changed which is understandable. I had their bacon burger and I loved the previous version. The bun was over toasted vs soft. I think next time I'll request no toasting. It won't stop me from coming back because this place has the best customer service and the owner and daughter are great. “Going to start strong with cost effectiveness and ambiance, prices most commonly range from 4.75-8 dollars. Thursdays are all day happy hour, and each drink has over 2 oz of the hard alcohol added! Willing to make tall w/out cost increase. Best lemon drops (I always ask for a lot of sugar since I can't handle the taste of alcohol) and only 3.75 during happy hour, Malibu's are only 5.50!Really nice bartender, gives great suggestions, and is so nice they'll cook fries up until 11:30pm! I always leave a little more than tipsy during happy hour with 11.25 dollars of drinks under my belt (3 drinks). At most, it would cost 15 for drinks and 7 for a full thing of fries. Amazing service and relaxed atmosphere (I usually go around 11pm, but I recommend more than an hour to properly access billiards and other activities). Their music leans into a rock vibe, it's the only bar I've been to that makes me feel 100% comfortable.They have shuffle board, billiards, darts, and video poker. The lighting is darker with many TVs, and a lot of the furniture works amazing with the ambiance of the lighting. Overall 10/10! I recommend this to anyone who leans more introverted, I recommend going early if you want more people to talk to, but otherwise, come within the last 2.5 hours for a more introverted friendly experience. “The food is well above what you would expect for a bar. We go there often for a drink, but rarely get a meal because we are pescatarian (love the appetizers though!). Today, we were thrilled because we asked the chef gal if she would make us a fish sandwich and she went out of her way to make us happy, even coming out several times to clarify what we wanted. It was an amazing sandwich and we hope they’ll add it to the menu! Also, our friend asked for fry sauce and the chef went back and whipped some up for her. Her and the bartender were much more accommodating than you’d expect for a bar (or even for many restaurants). “Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations.
