“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

“The best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything about the Original Pancake House is perfection.
The sausage was so well spiced, the eggs were creamy and way more than 2 eggs in volume, the bacon was outstanding and where do I start with the pancakes?
Fluffy, soft, perfectly cooked and the whipped butter is delicious.
Now the coffee is the topper and yes, it is served with FULL FAT CREAM.
Why don't I live near to this restaurant?“

“I love this place and the amazing sandwiches they serve. My go to is the OG and occasionally the Rene but any sandwich is fantastic. However, the last few months I've shown up 6 or more times during the posted operation hours on the weekend to find the truck closed. I often look to see if social media says anything about a closure before leaving and there's never a mention so its been a gamble as I live farther away.“

“I tried a waffle with an egg on top and a side of hashbrowns, and it honestly blew me away. The waffle was light and fluffy, with just the right texture, and the egg on top added a really nice savory balance without overpowering it. The hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I can tell the owner put a lot of thought into his recipes; everything worked together so well. Highly recommend stopping by yourself or with a couple of friends!“

“Best Damn breakfast sandwich I have had. It's so good that I went to get one today and was so excited about it that I actually burnt the roof of my mouth because I couldn't wait. Did I care about the burning feeling just a smidge, but it's worth every penny for that sandwich.“

“Whenever I’m in Portland I make sure I have breakfast at Elmer’s before I leave. Our server was Brittany, she was very helpful, friendly and efficient. I will return in March and look forward to dining at Elmer’s again.“

“Food! Service! Atmosphere! And Feeling the immediate homey comfort by staff and customers, was just what two weary travelers needed. Met our niece there for breakfast and totally a joy of a cross country trip. Have been in many places across the U S A; and this one is one of major memorable treats. BTW my niece talked me into to trying your Fabulous (Homemade) Green Monster Sauce on my egg omelette and I havent stopped talking or looking for a duplicate since visiting Portland and I live in Ohio! If any one is reading this as a world traveler, believe me when I tell you If you live, or travel in this area, you gotta treat yourself to one of their fabulous stomach filing delicious entries. Really!. Bravo, I never write any kind of reviews in the possitive, I'm old, so I bitch alot. HAHA; But this place so worth the time, the price and contributing to a small family business. Which I totlally look for in any area I visit. I totally believe in supporting family owned local businesses...not the big Guys! Bravo Midpoint. If I lived in the area you'd know me by name as a regular! God Bless. And hope this will inspire the owner into marketing her Green Monster Sauce. One of the best out there. “The sandwich was absolutely delicious. I had ham in my sandwich, and it had been grilled, the way the universe intended it! The service at the window was very friendly, and the turnaround time was quite acceptable. This could very easily become an addiction. And for me, the fact that gluten-free bread was available made it a total winner.“

“I really enjoyed this spot! Went for the first time on Sunday around 12:00. It was busy, but there was seating available. There's an awesome patio option if the weather permits! Try the Irish Coffee, or the Mexican Coffee 😉. Nice vibe, great staff, great food!“

“The yolko ono deluxe is amazing. The protein sando is pretty meh, but would go back for the yolko.
They bring you the food but you order standing up and bus your own table so you can adjust your tip accordingly if you tip based on service like I do.

“First time in Oregon. The stars for reviews should be higher than 4.3 because this place was amazing! This place has a diner feel with excellent service and attentiveness but the food was on a better level than the type restaurant it is! Pistachio filled French toast! OMGGGG!!!! I’m trying to get back there in the morning for more! The grown up grilled cheese sandwich was better than I imagined and definitely bigger! I still half the sandwich for leftovers tonight! Leah was our waitress. She suggested I try a sample of French toast and I’m glad she did. Roger was not our waiter, but our “after brunch”conversation about Oregon was exactly what I needed to push an extended visit to Oregon. He suggested Astoria, the beach and the waterfall. Now I’m planning a week’s vacation for Spring. 10/10 is my review!“

“I have eaten here twice now. And I really like the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. They have 3 or so vegan breakfast options, and more vegetarian. I have tried the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan tofu scramble. Both are really tasty, they also do a variety of freshly made juices and smoothies. Enjoyable place, always happy to spend my money there.“

“When you enter the first thing you notice are the plants and real wood paneling. There are tiny cast irons up on the wall. The lighting is designed to look like old style gas lamps. The music is definitely the best part of the ambiance. The music ranges from doowop to soul to vintage rock and roll to San Francisco sound and Motown which is precisely my jam. I ordered a plain burger with mayo and fries. I'm weird like that but Miller's was able to able to accommodate my autism. The service was amazing and I'm not just saying that cause I know the waitress. The food was made quickly. Fries were crunchy on the outside soft on the inside as they should be. My Fanta was topped off when I got just under a third. It's clean. Very clean. I know cause I watched an employee pull every single table out to clean the booths. Very pleased with my visit.“

“The place was extremely busy and there seemed to be only one waitress on the floor, but she seated, provided menus, took orders and delivered the food all in a very timely manner. She was working her buns off and was still very pleasant and accommodating. The older waitress stayed behind the bar seating area and talked with one customer, but the one who waited on us was fabulous, the food was very generous and well prepared, and tasty

“The food was amazing. I had biscuits and gravy, stuffed hash browns and bacon. They had to stop Mr from licking the plate the food was so good. Top it off with a bloody mary with lots of accoutrements including a slice of candied bacon. Awesome job folks. Only dtaw back is they are a little spendy but well worth it.“
