“I was expecting something on the drier side with minced meat like that in the menu picture when I was ordering Pad Basil. I was caught off guard when I opened the takeaway box at my hotel as it seems the stir fry dish had slices of meat instead with a watery sauce. The food and drinks lean towards the sweeter side but overall the taste is good. I removed one star mainly because I was craving for something that is drier with a sharper taste for that meal.“

So many delicious daily specials alongside my standard pad thai order, it doesn't get better than Zaap. Service is amazing and the owner greets you each time you eat. “Phaya Thai has become our all-time favorite restaurant! They have figured out how to deliver high quality and delicious meals every time, and so quickly! The flavors are complex and they have so many options. Their proteins are always tender and flavorful from their beef to their catfish and even tofu. I have celiac and Phaya Thai is sort of a holy grail - a safe restaurant I thought would only exist in my dreams. We'll keep making the trek from Vancouver week after week!“

“Discovered this place by accident and it was such a happy surprise, it was quiet for a Thursday dinner so we got taken care of extra quick. The drink menu was plenty and the one I picked “phuket fantasy” had me at hello. “I'm in love with a pineapple fried rice. I recommend the pork belly as a meet. If you prefer chicken or shrimp, You'll love it. The duck Curry is equal. I've eaten here a dozens of times. Honestly I haven't tried anything else. I wish I can try it all . The chef knows what he's doing. Out of all the Thai restaurants I've had throughout Portland and surrounding areas this is the best.“

“I was in Portland for cancer treatment and had to have a special diet. I could only drink broth. I went to Thai Seasons to ask for their help, because I trust the ingredients they put in their food. They were so kind to me and prepared a Tom Ka broth and a chicken broth for me. These broths were perfect, nourishing, and delicious. The ladies at Thai Seasons really turned a dismal day into a lovely one for me, and I will always visit them and eat there every time I am in Portland.“

There were chopped lime leaves still in the broth, nice large chunks of chili peppers, and perfectly cooked eggplant. The spice level was up there while having great depth of flavor. “Met up with some dear friends at Ba Mee while I was in town and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were fortunate enough to walk in on a Saturday night and grab a table. Service was very prompt and friendly. Started with a few appetizers...Chicken Satay (was good but not best I've had), Thai Wings (delicious and packed with flavor), and a Soybean sheet rolls (good but preferred other two appetizers). Mains ordered were Beef Pad See Ew (this was so so good!), Chicken Pad Thai (tasty dish but chicken was a bit of a let down compared to everything else) and I had the Ba Mee House Noodle Soup with duck (delicious and packed with noodles and tasty broth and veggies). Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend. Didnt get to take pix of other dishes as we ate the appetizers too quickly!“
