“Pam did an amazing job baking my wedding cake, cupcakes and pastries. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We received so many compliments on the desserts. We did a tasting cake before the wedding and Pam made it very easy to pick up and work with her. We ate all the wedding cake so we will be coming back to her for our anniversary to get another delicious chocolate cake! So glad I decided to use her for my wedding on Mount Hood. She delivered and set up which made it sooo stress free! I would definitely recommend her.”

We were seated last minute—walk-ins were only accepted for drinks, but I quickly checked online and snagged a table reservation so we could order food. The pear salad and pear pizza were both absolutely delicious. We each had a beer, though we probably should’ve gone with wine—it just wasn’t to our taste, but we rarely drink beer anyway.

The view here is stunning—easily one of the best in the area. Even after the staff closed up, we were welcome to stay, enjoy the sunset, and play a few rounds of cornhole. A perfect ending to the evening.”

“Pretty standard diner fare. What makes this restaurant 5 stars for me is the huckleberry pancakes and the huckleberry milkshake. The pancakes in the huckleberry short stack cover the entire dinner plate and are enough to feed two people. Whenever my husband and I dine here we always split the short stack, a side of two scrambled eggs, and a side of sausage. Really hits the spot after a good hike. I’ve yet to try the huckleberry pie, but it’s on my to do list. Do yourself a favor and try any of the huckleberry items on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.”

“We sat outside and enjoyed delicious pizza, perfect wings and a stellar spinach salad. The salsa was less than great, but the chips were good. We enjoyed the games and just relaxed. Definitely a must!”

“Loved the heavenly ice cream! Perfect add on a hot day in Mt. Hood area. The owner was friendly, kind and even made a special cup for our puppy. Excellent pistachio almond, huckleberry heaven and mint chocolate chip flavors!”

“They had a really lovely experience there, and the view was beautiful. Even though it was summer, the area felt calm and inviting. The server was fantastic, and the portion sizes were quite generous. It’s definitely a good idea to ask about the sizes before you order. We forgot to do that, and when we ordered nachos, they ended up being enough to feed four people! We were so hungry and didn’t realize how large they would be, so we unfortunately had to waste some food. It’s always better to double-check with the staff before placing your order.”

“What’s not to love about amazing tacos in a remote cabin in the woods? Great conversations around the fire pit. Only negative is the toilets nearby but cant hold that against these fine purveyors of squatch tacs”

“I have never been to mount hood before, and was trying to salvage a trip we had planned before Covid shutdowns complicated our adventure. The representative I spoke with via Skibowl's chat help line on 12/1/20 not only answered my questions promptly but went above and beyond to give me recommendations for our stay that helped us plan some fun while also operating within the governor's covid safety guidelines. It was very appreciated and I will definitely remember how helpful they were when planning future trips.”

“Best nachos on the mountain, so huge! They have affordable prices and the view off the deck is great watching people on the rope tow park. The day time lady bartender is super friendly and efficient. Only problem is some of the food runners are shy and instead of yelling out numbers they run through the busy crowd with food looking rushed. It's a loud bar, don't be afraid to speak up.”
