I did try the donuts and while they weren’t terrible, They weren’t exactly what I expected when I see the word donut. They were dense and smooth and cool temp wise, lol I really can’t think of anything to compare them with!

The black sesame coffee was absolutely delicious, but there was a ton of grits left at the bottom of the cup.“

The bagels themselves are superb, the sandwiches are good to excellent, and when dining in, its almost always possible to find a seat. I don't know what I'd do without Spielman's; they've fueled so many of my adventures, I've enjoyed a Spielman's bagel with tofutti and lox deep in the Mt Hood forest, on top of Mt. The bearded Asian man behind the counter seemed either tired or uninterested—he had a straight face the entire time and only smiled when interacting with a coworker in the back. Maybe he just wasn’t fully awake yet. Just a constructive criticism for better service.“

The flagship store in Division has a warm, upbeat neighborhood coffee joint feel. The Baristas were dealing with a big line on a Sunday morning and were still warm and genuine when I ordered.

Espresso ☕️ was very rich, lots of crema enjoyed with notes of dried fruit 😋
