“I was able to take my mom here for her birthday last night. Honestly, maybe one of the best meals I've had in Portland in the last several years. The service staff was excellent. She made some great recommendations and led us to some fantastic seasonal dishes that were about to exit the menu. If you go, you need to try the peach and pancetta pizza - maybe the best pizza I've ever had. Also, the lasagna was incredible. Overall a fantastic place and worth the reservation or wait for a table.“

“The wait on a Friday night for a table or a to go pizza is insane. Make a reservation or go early. Street parking on the weekend is also a bear. In complete fairness, the pizzas look amazing, but I had no desire to wait 1 hour for a table or to go order.“

“I find myself craving this pizza and have been coming a few times a month since I happened upon it. Such a lovely ambiance at the Cartopia food carts and Pyro beckons you to try them with a beautiful wood fired pizza oven and delicious personal pizzas not to mention the craft sodas which are ever changing. They offer free refills on the sodas too which is marvelous. I stay getting the Fennel Sausage Pizza but everything is delicious it truly is choose what sounds best. The pizzas are thin and the dough is well hydrated while still maintaining a great crust.“

“A taste of Italy in Oregon!!! Best pizza I’ve had!the crust is perfection thin, charred, and airy! I also got the ricotta garlic sauce which was the perfect dip to eat up the crust. Came here with a large group of girls and there was plenty of seating both inside and outdoors. The furniture and little accessories added the perfect touch of comfort. There were literally grape vines all round the patio and we got to slice up our pizza with scissors! Anyway, well worth your money for the quality and quantity!“

“Wow! Completely blown away. We came in just looking for some pizza to finish off our vacation. Did not realize we were about to have probably the most incredible pizza I've had anywhere. Extremely creative combinations that compliment eachother perfectly.
Start to finish, the salad, the pizzas, the ice cream. Everything was perfect.
Please visit these guys they are worth it.“

“I live next door to Meta Pizza and it's a daily struggle. As soon as they fire up the ovens and the smell of dough and garlic fills the air my mouth waters and I have to battle myself as to whether I'm gonna eat yet another slice that day . The meatball special with saffron Milanese and nutmeg ricotta is out of this world. I usually give into temptation. Highly recommend adding the lamb sausage to the Grandma Style!“

“I applaud you for being open!!! I ordered my food Togo on the phone. When I got there front door was open with a table blocking which there was a sign order here. I went to back door which was closed, I opened cause I guessed maybe that’s where you get your food Togo and it was to be picked up there. I come thru he said you order from the front( also didn’t really give me a chance to politely saying anything) and noted there was another guy in there that looked to be picking up food as well. Then went to the front he come to the front door with a iPad to take my order and I say a order Togo for Robbie. Then was “owe ok”. Get home the food was great some of the best pie I have ever had! Only reason I explained this was I think clear signage would make this transaction easier. This is a very tough time and people want to be safe. I also LIKED he asked to pay Cc over the phone and asking for the tip ahead of time does limits person contact. Will be back!“

“The Mediterranean pizza was delish. It just happened to hit the spot for me. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend it.“

“One of the best spots for a NY-ish slice. $5 for a huge slice with generous toppings. Only complaint is that if you eat inside, you'll notice TONS of dust on the ceiling, and swarms of flies (consistently-- idk what the deal is). But the area where they make the pizza seems okay.“

“Best pizza in Portland and I'll take that opinion to my grave. Incredible flavor, always cooked to perfection. 10/10 no notes.
They make their own ranch that is more addicting than crack. I swear I would sell my firstborn for a tub of it.
If youre considering this place stop considering and order a pie or slice already.“

“The pizza was outstanding. There's no indoor seating, but there are a few tables outside. However, there is not a lot of street parking; I got lucky. I'm not so sure it was a legal parking space and I was almost on the bumper of another car, making it impossible for it to get out. I thoughtfully left a note that I was just across the street incase they needed to leave. They didn't. Next time I'll plan on parking a bit away and walking or get the pizza to go. In that case I'd take a friend so they could drive around the block if needed while I ran in and grabbed the pizza. Bull Run Pizza is near the Joan of Arc statue which is worth seeing.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at Oven and Shaker! They accommodated our larger group with ease and the server did an amazing job keeping the various tabs separate and organized. The pizza was delicious but the crispy chickpeas were my favorite. I had never seen those on a menu before but they were the perfect light, salty snack to start the meal!“

“Amazing pizza. Only place around I've found so far that offers a really good well done Chicago style deep dish. The flavor and texture is amazing, staff are super friendly, and atmosphere the very relaxed and friendly. Parking is definitely not the easiest but it is still accessible if you get there outside of peak time.“

“We order from this place and drive 4.5 mile round trip to get it, XL perfect size for fam of 5, and some of the best sauce in the city.“

“The pizza here is somewhat unique and enjoyable. I feel like it’s a little overpriced for a slice however. This place does not accept cash however and also is a non tipping establishment which may be reason for slightly higher prices as they pay livable wages rather than have employees rely upon tips.“

“Great service , amazing staff. Pizza the best in Portland“
“The pizza was dry and had been sitting out for a long time. It was awful. Staff should be trained to use fresher pizza by the slice. Very disappointed.“

“The focaccia was good, though I wished there were more pizza options that didn't include red sauce. Counter service was great. My only issue was that they only have sandwiches in the barest sense of the word. There are two on the menu. I would have loved more options or just a chose your own toppings/filling option for either pizza or a sandwich! The whole pepperoni pizza that we took home was a good value, with lots of meat and since focaccia makes for a hefty crust, 1 piece filled up most people. Get the side of burrata if you order the green olive and rosemary slice like I did!“

“I rented out the Bad Habit Room for our team holiday party and am so glad I did! Randi made booking and planning a breeze. Our bartender Joffrey was fun and helpful and made some fantastic cocktails (and some creative mocktails!) The appetizer platters we ordered from the catering menu were beautiful and very high quality for the price, and I appreciated that we were able to swap in some vegan options. For the main course, we ordered from Saraveza's menu, and the food was great and came out very quickly. The background music was perfect, and the pinball machines were a nice bonus! Everyone had a fantastic time, and my husband and I are already talking about what event we want to host there next.“

“Great place, nice ambience. Service was awesome. Appetizers and salad came out quickly. Pizza came out right as we finished then up. Pizza was cooked perfectly and the toppings were generous. It's a bit on the spendy side, but I highly recommend this place. 👍“

“This is one of my go to brunch places on Sunday morning in Portland. The food is top notch, the service is super friendly and sitting at the bar and watching each item that they pull out of the brick oven always makes me swoon. This time I had the breakfast porridge with poached egg and braised greens. So delicious. The olive oil fig muffin I had with my cappuccino was the perfect marriage. Thanks for meal that is always satisfying and yummy.“

“Grana is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in Portland. The food is consistently outstanding—every dish feels thoughtful and authentic and their pizzas are so flavorful and light.
But what really sets Grana apart is the service - the staff are always polite, welcoming, and accommodating. One time our son had his bike with him, and they kindly offered to keep it inside for safekeeping (without us even asking!) —small gestures like that show how much they care about their guests.
After our last disappointing experience at the *other* “well-known” pizza place in the neighborhood, we can honestly say we’ll never go back there. Grana has everything we want—amazing food, genuine hospitality, and consistency. This is the Portland pizza place we’ll keep returning to. <3“
