“Right on the water, and at sunset is beautiful. Order ahead at the counter and pick up when ready. Indoor seating. Staff was average, as was the food. Nothing bad, but not great. Had: fish & chips, tuna melt, captain's platter, the sockeye patty, and sourdough bread bowl clam chowder(this was great). Not a bad place to stop, but not a must stop.“

“The place was hopping on a Sunday night so we chose to sit at the bar instead of wait for a table. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and am used to being disappointed. This place wasn’t cheap but it earned its prices.

We ordered halibut fish & chips. Halibut is fussy and commonly overcooked. It was perfect. The fish was juicy and the coating was crispy without being greasy. Same with the chips. And the side green salad was equally fabulous. First, it was larger than most. Second, it wasn’t just greens. Third, shaved red onions were on one side so people who didn’t want them didn’t have to pick them out.

Our waitress was spectacular. She didn’t make an obvious sales pitch. She asked intelligent questions of customers so she could guide them to items that would meet their desires and interests. That applies to their beer and wine offerings as well as the food menu.

The atmosphere was delightfully relaxed yet has an undertone of sophistication. It was obvious several pairs of people had chosen to go there for a “date night.”

Bottom line: highly recommend.“

“I went to the Salmonberry tonight with my family and friends for the first time since they reopened. I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY. The food was incredible. It was so fresh and delicious and quick. But what really got me was the service. The young man who was hosting was polite and accommodating. The staff were all friendly. I have to say having a really good meal with a very pleasant dinning experience on the nicest day of the summer was magical. This is the Salmonberry at its best!!!“
