“Had such a fun time at this crabbing marina on the Oregon coast! Took the kids, and none of us had ever done anything like this before. The staff was awesome—super friendly and helpful, making sure we knew what we were doing and even helping us get out on the boat. We caught crabs and cooked them up right there—so fresh and delicious! The kids are already talking about going back for our next trip. Definitely something worth trying if you’re in the area. We even grabbed a few hoodies to remember the day!“

“Local, fresh, delicious! I had the Dungeness crab and a dozen oysters and it was so delicious! Picnic tables outside are dog friendly. They have a small market where you can get fresh seafood, spices, etc. The staff was friendly and my meal was ready in no time.“

“We visit Big Wave Cafe every year we travel to the Oregon coast. We enjoy the staff, conversations with staff, food/beverages and of course the awesome service! As far as the food, we try to order different things on the menu and no matter what we decide on, the chef never disappoints. No matter if you come in for lunch or dinner they have the best and freshest in town! We’ve had the most amazing crab cakes (grandmas recipe), clam chowder, French dip, Rueben, tsunami burger, salads, captains platter, grilled halibut dinner and the peanut butter pie just to name a few….😊 We will continue to come back and support this hardworking family owned restaurant!! “If you’re anywhere near the coast and craving incredible seafood with a side of warm, small-town hospitality, look no further than Fisherman’s Korner. We stopped in and were absolutely blown away , not just by the food, but by the whole experience.

We ordered the clam strips, shrimp, and fish, and every single bite was perfection. The clam strips were lightly breaded, perfectly crisp, and not at all chewy like you sometimes get elsewhere. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the fish was flaky, tender, and cooked just right. You could tell it was fresh , none of that frozen, over-battered stuff here.

And the cocktail sauce? Wow. It wasn’t just an afterthought it was clearly house-made or at least carefully selected. Tangy, zesty, and just the right amount of horseradish heat to wake everything up. We were dunking everything in it and considering asking for a bottle to-go.

Now let’s talk about the staff because honestly, they deserve their own shoutout. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, upbeat, and attentive. No fake smiles or going-through-the-motions here. They treated us like old friends, made sure we had everything we needed, and checked in just enough without hovering. It was the kind of service that makes you want to come back even if the food wasn’t great — except here, the food is great, so it’s the perfect combo.

The atmosphere is laid-back and casual, just what you want from a coastal seafood spot. It’s the kind of place where you feel instantly at ease , and leave feeling full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

“Customer service! I forgot my purse at the restaurant and didn’t realize until we were 2 hours away. Not only did the staff keep my purse safe but they sent us home with some of their delicious chowder for our long drive home. Also the food (fish and chips) we had eaten at lunch was wonderful! Honestly so good and hit the spot. Really good fish and chips and battered fries with good thick chowder and bay shrimp salad. And good quality beer! And being open late meant this place saved our butts. But it’s clean and staff are really friendly. Everyone here was so nice and the big TVs made watching the Olympics fun while we enjoyed delicious food! Come on in if you’re on the coast, especially around Tillamook Manzanita or Garibaldi areas.“
