“10 of 10 stars We had a dog injured his hip the night before we were scheduled to leave for vacation had surgery the next day. my wife called that morning to cancel our reservation. My wife explained the situation, expresed that we knew there was no refunds the day of the reservation. She asked if there was anyway we could move the reservation back about a week. the gentleman on the phone found us three days that we could come that did not show online. said if the fourth night came open he would add it. they were full so it didn't happen. but he tried and he didn't have to do a thing my dog was my problem not his. the refund policy was clear.i was tickled that he made an exception and helped us out. once we got there it was amazing. the water the birds the little patch of grass, pick nick table and fireplace between trailer spot and the sea wall was nice. it lacks privacy like between trailer table set ups , but the neighbors were nice and it wasn't a problem. looking out over the bay was so nice with my incapacitated dog . we did run over to Tillamook an easy drive . was just a nice relaxed few days. next time we will take advantage of the wrapping. there will be a next time.“

“You love a local hole in the wall? Go here. The staff were wonderful. The fry was perfect. The clam chowder was creamy and light and delicious with fresh bread for the bowl. Dont let the appearance fool you. Absolutely worth your time.“

“We had the catch of the day, which was pan seared halibut with roasted vegetables and chantarelle mushrooms in a creamy Sherry sauce. It was delicious. The service was great also. Very pleased we ate here.“

“I went to the Salmonberry tonight with my family and friends for the first time since they reopened. I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY. The food was incredible. It was so fresh and delicious and quick. But what really got me was the service. The young man who was hosting was polite and accommodating. The staff were all friendly. I have to say having a really good meal with a very pleasant dinning experience on the nicest day of the summer was magical. This is the Salmonberry at its best!!!“

“What a wonderful experience! We took a chance and went to Big Wave tonight and it exceeded all expectations. My husband and I had the fresh grilled Alaskan halibut with cilantro butter and it was out of this world. Best halibut I’ve ever tasted! Our friend had the crab cakes and they were also delicious. Our waiter, Josh, was the best. He went above and beyond to be attentive and accurate with any special requests. We ordered a desert to share and found out Josh’s mom makes them all from scratch. The peanut butter whipped cream pie was to die for. The whole meal, ambience (sweetly, perfectly casual) and service were A+. I only wish we lived here so we could go more often.“

“Usually this place has really good halibut fish and chips, while their fries were perfectly crisp and delicious the halibut this visit was crispy but dry. It was a sad because even their tartar sauce was delicious, well seasoned and garlicky but the dry fish left a lot to be desired. I will give this place another shot in case it was a fluke.“

“Customer service! I forgot my purse at the restaurant and didn’t realize until we were 2 hours away. Not only did the staff keep my purse safe but they sent us home with some of their delicious chowder for our long drive home. Also the food (fish and chips) we had eaten at lunch was wonderful! Never ever not had amazing food and drinks. This is a definitely stop for a drink, food or gamble. I had fish and chips hand beaded at time of order home made coleslaw. AMAZING!“
