Bad day at work, feeling under the weather or blue, this place always picks my spirits up and leaves me happy and full. They also treat my daughter great. “Stopped in today to get a coffee. I got the Winter Solstice latte and a hot chocolate. The barista was so welcoming and kind, I didn’t catch their name unfortunately. The coffee was delicious. The vibes were immaculate and so cozy. The perfect balance of whimsical and radical and I am here for it. “Beers were great, staff friendly and wanted to chat beyond simply serving. Kid friendly which is a plus. We had the brisket tacos and the Reuben. Brisket tacos were very juicy and had far more brisket than I expected, great smoke flavor and the bark was incredible. Reuben had a good amount of meat, bread was tasty, fries were excellent. All around solid spot with chill vibes.”

“I’m a Thai food snob and was admittedly skeptical, as I’ve had so much bad Thai food when traveling. This was some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had! It was authentic and absolutely delicious. Everything was spot on, down to the sauces on the side. We had 5 dishes amongst our group (all regular Thai food diners) and everyone agreed. Will definitely be back during our weeks stay! (We had takeout, but the restaurant itself is inviting, a little quirky, and overall charming.)”

“The clam chowder was the best I have had on the north coast! It is Gluten-free, a bit sweet, a bit smoky and a bit spicy. The clams were perfectly cooked, the potatoes were perfect sized and didn't burn my mouth. There was even bits of bacon. I have been trying different towns all summer long and try their clam chowder for sure! The fries were very mediocre though satisfying.They make the food for the bar next door and the staff was very friendly. Glad to support a long-standing establishment that deserves their spot on the strip!”

“Eating vegan in the Oregon North Coast at Thai Us Up in Seaside, OR. Lovely place to grab some vegan thai food on the coast. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. While none of the dishes were labelled vegan specifically, she helped guide us to the dishes that were suitable for us. Any dish that included red curry was not vegetarian because the red curry is made with fish sauce. However, any dish with green curry was safe as she recently ordered a veg friendly version of the green curry in order to cater for veg preferences 💚. She also mentioned about possibly working on bringing out a separate vegetarian menu in the future 🌱. The Fried Tofu was yummy. The texture was more light and fluffy than what I was expecting, as in the past ... the fried tofu I've had consisted of a firmer texture. So it was a bit different, but really good .. especially when coupled with the included dipping sauce. The Peanut Noodle dish was great, thanks in no small part to their wonderfully flavorful peanut sauce!! I'm soooo much a fan of their Avocado Curry, lots of pieces of avocado and tofu, really tasty and filling.”

“When we go to my doctor in Seasie Oregon, we love to go to the Dutch Bros coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and have so much energy. It lifts our spirits. BUT the last time we went there (3-23-26) we were greeted the same fun living way. The staff was great, the issue we had was, there was a very strong smell, not a nice smell!! It was gross, it smelled like an outhouse. It made me want to cancel order, and leave ASAP. We ended up staying to get our drinks, but will not go back until the issue is addressed. I can't imagine working there, having to smell that would make me sick. I hope it will be addressed ASAP. Thank you! Or FYI the Astoria Store has the same upbeat staff. We go there at times as well. I LOVE the hot chocolate, with the whip cream. Since I've never had a cup of coffee in my 65 years, the hot chocolate is my drink!!! All Dutch Bros are great!!! We just like our local shops the best!!”

“If I could have legally refused to pay for the food we got last night and the service delays, we would have asked them to pay us for being there. It ruined my birthday and I have never in 15 years of being on Facebook, left a negative review. I watched staff comping people of delays, quality and more and I was hoping it was just because it was complaining tourist's or something. We decided to let it ride and we ordered drinks, they never arrived. Had to ask for them again and the bar tender from the other side of building brought my bottle beer over and still my wife had no beverage. He had to go and get that. We ordered an appetizer, and it never came, then, watched the couple behind us discussing how upset they were about the food they got, I started to get worried. After a few min, I heard the male waiter get sarcastic and say, so I'm sorry this is really late (they got the appetizer they ordered after their dinner was almost done) "do you want this or not", and she said not, well it was the same appetizer we ordered. He took it to the back, it sat for 5 min and when I inquired about our appetizer, the same looking plate and setup appetizer the other ladies refused, ended up with us it looked like and at the same time as our dinner. Now for dinner that was also frustrating as, we wanted prime rib. the whole reason we came there. Well there were two couples sat down after we were sat and had been waiting 10 min and still no one. Well, we noticed that the two couples that came after use had been given drinks and orders taken. Finally a nice young lady came over and said she was sorry for the wait as she didn't realize that we were her table. When we ordered, she said oh sorry, the last two prime rib just sold and asked us what we wanted in exchange. At that point wasn't super happy. But every place else was long lines. We got the rib eye and my wife's was way over cooked and mine too under cooked. It would have been a mess to send back and we were starving. Ya not good tasting. The worst part was, this year has been a horrible mess from the surgery, the liver and kidney failure mess, (I wasn't drinking tonight it was non alcoholic beer), and family and work craziness and I simply wanted a nice dinner. It was such a horrible mess and let down. Still really upset this morning. $116 plus a small tip for the nice waitress was $116 too much. :(”

“My wife and I were visiting for a few days and when asking for great seafood restaurants in town we were directed by numerous locals to Dooger’s… and we were not disappointed! My wife ordered the Dungeness Crab Louis salad which was loaded with fresh local crab at a very reasonable price! Great salad and nicely presented. I ordered the fresh pan fried Oysters Cajun style and they literally melted in my mouth! Probably the best oysters I’ve ever had…wow! Our server Jacob was super cool and made us feel comfortable and welcome. A real pro with perfect service! We will be back when we are in Seaside again! “It was Wednesday (Prime Rib Night) and we came later than expected but were able to secure the last 2 available on the first come first serve of this special and the food was perfect as well as the drinks. Amber met us with smiles and amazing customer service as she proudly made sure everyone was taken care of. It was a busy night and she was taking the orders, making the drinks, helping serve the food and drinks, as well as cashing the customers out! In a world where customer service is hard to come by, Amber shines like a diamond!! We will definitely be back :)”

We had Teriyaki, a couple of rolls and the Tomago sashimi. My son said it was the best Tomago he's ever had, and he's obsessed with it so he would know.

The Teriyaki chicken was hot, fresh and tender, the veg was fresh steamed and still had crunch to it and the rice was plentiful!

We got the spicy tuna roll and the avocado roll. The Avocado was super fresh and convinced my picky eater child that he now loves avocado. The spicy tuna was just right, there was a delicious undertone of spice but the tuna flavor still came thru.”

“I grew up in Oregon and would come to Seaside all the time growing up. Since then I moved away to Illinois. I just came back for a family members funeral and decided while I was here I would take my son to the beach. I could smell the delicious food blocks away & knew we needed to eat our dinner there. Best Halibut I have ever had 🤤 Will definitely plan on coming here each time I'm in town.”
