“Just played @ The Beach Hut Deli as a member of Richie Bean and The Midnight Travelers. We had a great time and were treated great!! And I got a pastrami sandwich and it was phenomenal!! I don’t know what they did but it is and was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Delicious!! So good!!“

“I made a reservation for my birthday prior to their "Top 50 Restaurants in the U.S.," courtesy of the NYT, and I'm glad I did - reservations fill up quick. The food was great, but what really blew me away was their ability to be flexible. My husband was coming home on an international flight and his flight delay put us missing our reservation by 30 minutes and I got into contact with them the second that I knew (sorry for the 6:00 am text ?). Granted, it could have been a coincidence that day (it was a Friday and maybe there weren't too many people clamoring for a spot), but they were able to work with me and allow us to come to our table for a 1.5 hour service instead of a 2. That alone would make me come back, the food really was a plus at that point ? there are also nonalcoholic drink options that I really appreciated as I no longer drink. But yes, come for the food and stay for the service! Excited to try more of their menu next time.“

“We are so impressed with this restaurant, it’ll be our new Thursday night date night spot!
We enjoyed the ambiance greatly, were delighted by all 8 dishes we got, and loved the service.
My husband ordered the Old Fashioned Cocktail and the Bar Manager came out to introduce himself and tell us more about what makes it so special. He actually works with a local distillery to create the drink and bottle it. It was so good we ordered 2 and then went to the store down the street to buy our own bottle!

The small plates are incredible, and from 5-6 each night you can get a little 2-person sampler of all of them for only $38! Best deal in town! And then if you’re hungry, the steak was cooked PERFECTLY.

We couldn’t decide on a dessert so we ordered both!! Glad we did.“

“I think we may have found our favorite Korean restaurant on the west side! Food was fresh and yummy! Love the how the lettuce is presented. Every single leaf was crisp and perfect! Service was really good as well. Prices are a bit higher, but for what we got, we felt we got a lot of food for those prices.“

“On Wednesday, we made a detour to Tito’s Taquitos Swan Island in N Portland.
This was a clean, quick and friendly lunch spot located in the Swan Island industrial area. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with lots of parking.
My husband ordered one rib eye taco on blue corn tortilla, one garlic butter shrimp taco and 4 crispy hand-rolled potato filled taquitos topped with braised beef.
They also offered green, red, or habanero sauces.
Each bite has their flavor, texture, components and the balance to satisfy our taste, we love it.“

“If you love a fried chicken sandwich or a smash burger, this is the spot for you. The food is consistently great, the service is stellar and you can't complain about the indoor outdoor dining options hosted by the Breakside Brewery. Must try for a date night or family outing.

“This is an upscale restaurant that hosts two seating per night. We arrived for our 5PM reservation and were greeted promptly as promised. From the moment we arrived we were treated with deference and care. Every staff member, as well as Chef Adams, was thoughtful of our needs and anticipated them before we could ask. The restaurant itself is charming and eclectic. Framed art, potted plants, serve ware and an abundance of cookbooks are arranged neatly creating an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the Chef's counter and enjoyed engaging, knowledgeable and informative conversation throughout our visit. Our reservation was for the seven course spring menu and as soon as the first appetizer arrived we knew we were in for an outstanding experience. Each course was thoughtfully and meticulously prepared. Each dish was an explosion of flavor and always a delight! The creative combinations of flavors and textures left us in awe of Chef Aaron's skill and creativity. The attention to each detail, recipes, hospitality, plating and ambiance was impeccable. “Awesome! This is the place if you work nearby. Weighed by the pound (they subtract the plate/container weight), they have an awesome selection of cold and hot food. I had samples of sushi, avocado salad, mango salad, chicken salad, and even BBQ meatballs and sausages! They are super nice and you should at least give it a try on your lunch break. Plus they have breakfast stuff too!“

“Ordered from here for takeout. Usually order Mio Sushi and this place blew them away! The pork katsu and beef teriyaki in the bento box were sooooo good. Also the California rolls, seaweed salad, dragon rolls and salmon sashimi were fresh and tasty as well! Highly recommend this place!“

“Ate here with my family in October 2024. Nice sunny, chilly day visiting Portland. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My boys had burgers and loved them. The lemonade was delicious but expensive for the little cup. In a little section off the street with 3 other food trucks, and some outdoor picnic seating. We had no problem parking around the corner, but no parking right in front. Free water and cups are available in the seating area.“

“S/o to César for hooking it up with a bomb carne asada burrito. Asada was flavorful and I like how it wasn’t heavy with refried beans and using whole bean made more delicious and wasn’t heavy on the stomach , love the pico thru out the burrito and plenty of of sauces to pick from I went with mango habanero and avocado Serrano definitely will be back for some tacos and a breakfast burrito !“

“Thank you Firehouse team for making our wedding day go perfectly! We booked out the entire restaurant for the day, so we were able to decorate and get ready starting at 11am. With our 42 guests, we held the ceremony in the patio out front, then had dinner upstairs and the dance party downstairs. The food was incredible and we heard so many compliments about it from our guests. Working with the events manager (Alec) was great with his quick responses, flexibility, suggestions, day-of coordination, and DJ-ing!!“

“So many good things at this restaurant. So far, all the things I have tasted are so amazing. The BBQ Chicken Pizza, The Elden Burger, Cajun Tots, House Side Salad, Bourbon Glazed Wings and the Guiness on tap. All of these items I can say are superb. I have now been here three days in a row. I can't say I have done the same for any restaurant ever. Except for when I worked in one, but I didn't enjoy it as much as this place. They seem to be doing a lot of things very right so far. “I had the BBQ burger, fries, and a soda. It came in at ~$20 with a tip. You place an order at a digital kiosk on arrival.

The bun and burger dressings (fried onions, jalapeños, bacon) were quite good, as was the bun. The patty, which feels machine-made, was a little disappointing. For the price, I'd expect something hand formed. While the webpage states it is grilled medium, mine was well-done.

Fries were great, despite being served with about a tablespoon of ketchup.

The atmosphere is fast casual. The water station was empty when I arrived, as was the napkin dispenser at my table.

I plan to give this place another shot. if their salads are serviceable, and some of the issue above are addressed, I could see this being a regular spot.“

A place to get a proper cocktail in our village. Everything we tried we loved & their namesake drink “the Gibson” is highly recommended.

The vibes here are ultra cool and every member of the staff was so knowledgeable about the dishes and so friendly that we felt really comfortable eating here. You will leave full!! I was the only one in there and the folks behind the counter offered me a sample of their taco bomb, even though I was very happy with my choice of bowl. Who doesn't love samples? Really nice clean eating area in front of the big glass windows so the sun comes streaming in. Can't go wrong!“

“We had the spanikopita, chicken shawarma platter, and baklava. The food was extremely flavorful and well-seasoned. The baclava was probably the best version of the dish we have tried anywhere. The atmosphere was casual and pleasant though the door alarm was quite loud and became annoying for those of us sitting by it.“
