“My first time experiencing this gem of a place. I came to perform music on thier great live music stage, and went in to grab a sandwich before my band the "Desert Moondogs" started playing. I have lived in New York for many years and experienced the best deli sandwiches there, and was beyond surprised and happy with the Tigard Beach Hut Deli offerings. By far the best deli on the West Coast and even rivaled some of my favorite places in New York. If your anywhere near this eatery be it for food or music, make a stop...you won't be disappointed! “We went for the last week of the summer menu. The restaurant place is converted from an old houses and therefore has very nostalgic interior vibe.

The foods are all very delicious and fairly priced! We especially like the chicken liver tart, the cube-shape Wagyu beef check, and the desserts!“

My husband ordered the Old Fashioned Cocktail and the Bar Manager came out to introduce himself and tell us more about what makes it so special. He actually works with a local distillery to create the drink and bottle it. It was so good we ordered 2 and then went to the store down the street to buy our own bottle!

The small plates are incredible, and from 5-6 each night you can get a little 2-person sampler of all of them for only $38! Best deal in town! And then if you’re hungry, the steak was cooked PERFECTLY.

“I think we may have found our favorite Korean restaurant on the west side! Food was fresh and yummy! Love the how the lettuce is presented. Every single leaf was crisp and perfect! Service was really good as well. Prices are a bit higher, but for what we got, we felt we got a lot of food for those prices.“

“Excellent food, generous portions. I ordered the shredded chicken taquitos and was very satisfied. Other companions in my group highly recommended the chorizo. Small eatery but can seat larger groups outside (8). Service was a little slow due to the homemade and fresh nature of the dish. So take your time and enjoy. I will definitely go back.“

“There is a special right now, the Pobalno Popper Beast. Run, do not walk, this is the best summer time burger, I was stunned. It's got the usual classic foundation of the 2 patties and yet on a light, thinner brioche, not a fat chonker. All flavor. Then it is smeared with a roasted potato spread, chili mayo and the crispy fried jalapeños and onions. Prefect balance. I just finished it and want another.“

“I was able to take my mom here for her birthday last night. Honestly, maybe one of the best meals I've had in Portland in the last several years. The service staff was excellent. She made some great recommendations and led us to some fantastic seasonal dishes that were about to exit the menu. If you go, you need to try the peach and pancetta pizza - maybe the best pizza I've ever had. Also, the lasagna was incredible. Overall a fantastic place and worth the reservation or wait for a table.“

Today, I had their new breakfast burrito. Hands down the BEST Bessie burrito I've ever had. The flavor profile is on point! A mix of grilled and smokey flavors. Bacon and Mexican Chorizo, and the chorizo wasn't over powering. You can not go wrong. I promise it'll be the best breakfast burrito you've ever had. (Don't tell Abuelita, you might hurt her feelings it's that good)

The pita was soft, closer to a fluffy flour tortilla, and the sandwiches we had that came in a pita were actually wrapped in a trifolded pita and pressed like a panini. The felafel were big and delicious. The baklava was in a orange blossom syrup and was perfect. The service was personable and on point. It’s on an active block of N Williams, so it’s a fun area to walk around before/after. Highly recommended.“

I was the only one in there and the folks behind the counter offered me a sample of their taco bomb, even though I was very happy with my choice of bowl. Who doesn't love samples?
