“I'm in love with a pineapple fried rice. I recommend the pork belly as a meet. If you prefer chicken or shrimp, You'll love it. The duck Curry is equal. I've eaten here a dozens of times. Honestly I haven't tried anything else. I wish I can try it all . The chef knows what he's doing. Out of all the Thai restaurants I've had throughout Portland and surrounding areas this is the best.“

“I got the egg rolls and chicken pad thai. The dishes were really good. Worth the price. You can tell it’s made fresh. However the spicy level is definitely adjusted for white people. But not complaint. I got extra spicy and it wasn’t spicy but my palate is very high so it could be me. the sauce on the noodles is very sweet which might cancel the spicy.
My waitress, the lady with black hair, super nice and friendly. she makes me want to come back and try more for sure. She even packed my left overs. such a sweet waitress!“

Lemon Leaf is genuinely top-tier: incredible flavors, super fresh ingredients, and some of the warmest, kindest people you’ll meet behind a counter. They even surprised me with spring rolls on the house, just out of pure generosity.

The food instantly took me back to my time in Thailand—crazy authentic, comforting, and full of flavor.

Plus they have vegetarian options.
Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

I was caught off guard when I opened the takeaway box at my hotel as it seems the stir fry dish had slices of meat instead with a watery sauce. The food and drinks lean towards the sweeter side but overall the taste is good. I removed one star mainly because I was craving for something that is drier with a sharper taste for that meal.“

“I had lunch here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the food and how sweet the servers were. I got the lunch special Pad See Mao with chicken (medium spice) and a Thai iced tea. The spice level was a bit hot for a medium, but perfect for me. If you like really spicy food, this place will deliver the heat! The tea was perfectly sweetened, creamy and not too strong of a tea flavor. The ladies taking orders and serving food were very kind and polite, greeting people happily and sending guests off with a smile as well. The place was busy during lunch but they are efficient in cleaning tables and getting people sat and served. The only thing that would make the atmosphere better would be better music :) (totally a personal issue tho!!) Although there is lots of Thai food to choose from in Portland, I’d recommend this spot in the Pearl District for lunch 😋“

“Met up with some dear friends at Ba Mee while I was in town and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were fortunate enough to walk in on a Saturday night and grab a table. Service was very prompt and friendly. Started with a few appetizers...Chicken Satay (was good but not best I've had), Thai Wings (delicious and packed with flavor), and a Soybean sheet rolls (good but preferred other two appetizers). Mains ordered were Beef Pad See Ew (this was so so good!), Chicken Pad Thai (tasty dish but chicken was a bit of a let down compared to everything else) and I had the Ba Mee House Noodle Soup with duck (delicious and packed with noodles and tasty broth and veggies). Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend. Didnt get to take pix of other dishes as we ate the appetizers too quickly!“

The restaurant was clean, quaint and cozy. Food was moderately priced and the service was perfect.

We started with spring rolls($8). I ordered Chicken Pad Thai($15) and he ordered the Crispy Fried Basil($18). I’ve had Pad Thai many places and this is the first place where I could taste the char of the wok. Truly the best I’ve found.
