“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“New favorite spot, this place far exceeded my expectations!!! I found this just looking around Google maps and was so delighted when I finally made it in. The sound system is out of this world, deep layered bass, super chill music, they played from a chill Spotify Playlist to some really cool records. The system they have is beautiful, the inside is gorgeous, the drinks were incredible and food looked great too!! Definitely a new fav.“

“The bar tender went out of his way to help me. My car has a wind break that covers the back seat. I took the piece out of the car and he stored it for me so I would not have to go back to the room. Then we were late getting back from dinner, he stayed until we got back. As expected from the Crown Plaza. The best service.“

Don't expect much from the food. The food is bar food, not great, not bad. Nothing special. My battered fish was slightly on the burned side. The bar tender gavee half off the over priced fish.“

I had the hand breaded chicken stripes y husband had fish and chips. Three breading was the best I've ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. The prices are average for this area. They have a happy hour menu for Sun-Thurs that's for lots of choices. We will definitely return.“

“First time visiting this coffee shop. I'm sorry I didn't visit sooner. Was able to smell the great food, and see a toasted club sando being assembled. Out front a small sidewalk table with 2 eating small plates and large coffees. Inside were several small tables with a few customers reading and chatting. It was 1/2 hour before closing at 3:30pm. I ordered two med. Drinks to go. I was greeted promptly and waited a very short time. The coffee's were wonderful. The surprise was the many shaded tables for 4 out back on the patio. The prices are a great value nowadays as well! We're coming back often... No more corporate sugar chains....lol“

“We absolutely loved having our 55-person wedding at Bar Carlo. The owner Mel is at the same time very supportive and very low-key, which made for a smooth planning process and day-of event. The space is gorgeous, and has multiple connected wings, which allowed for the the party to morph seamlessly over the night from barside cocktail hour to outdoor patio ceremony to dinner buffet to dance floor. The space is already a beautifully decorated artwork, and Mel lets you decide how to arrange the space for your event, but you can also bring your own decorations/sound system/llama and she can handle those additions easily. The food and drinks were delicious too, and Mel was able to accommodate our entirely vegan and gluten-free menu without hesitation. “A craft cocktail bar in a suburban Hilton. Does the ambiance leave something to be desired? Yes, but… the cocktail menu and drink quality here make it a quirky and well worth it visit. The head bartender here is clearly well trained and talented. He introduced himself and explained that he creates the seasonal menu himself. The ingredients are high quality, including homemade syrups and shrubs. He made an on the spot mocktails for our group as well as the amazing cocktails.“
