The cashier was kind and helpful, the workers brought the food to our table along with our waters, and even followed up with us to see if we needed anything. To top it off, the dining area was spotless. Def much better than the average fast food joint!

“We live 3/4 across the country in Indiana but every time we come to town we always visit the Ale & Cider House. The lady who owns the place and always seems to take care of us and is always very friendly. As for the beers and ciders they are the best we’ve had. Loved the ciders before they filtered them but still taste just as good but without the “look”.😉 A true gem that you must try next time you are in the quaint little town of West Linn. Also the service I noticed the service was very customer oriented very positive. I had a chance to find out who the manager was I think on shift and her name is sunshine. You can tell that the staff had been encouraged and trained and I would be happy to go back and eat at this restaurant I think frequently. I highly recommend this particular restaurant.“

“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“Highly recommend getting the kimchi pancake and chestnut makgeolli (rice wine) on a rainy day! It's a classic combo in Korea for good reason, and very well suited for Portland's many rainy winter days. They really chose their makgeolli well, it's one of the best I've had! And the kimchi pancake is perfectly crispy and chewy.“

They made her feel welcomed, were so very patient, and explained their offerings, and shared stories. It was a wonderful smaller more intimate experience not a rush you through hard sell crowded one like the larger vineyards. Best if all the wines were AMAZING! An organic vineyard with grapes grown with love and care and you can taste it in the final product. Again could not recommend this place more for a peaceful, relaxed, beautiful setting. You can bring your own food to pair with the offerings, plus you can shop for some wonderful pottery pieces by local artists to take home.“

“My wife and I order Ying Bun several times a month. We just love it everything is fresh and taste like authentic Chinese food. We have a standing order, that we order every time.
We start with:
1) two large wonton soups that has lots of big large beautiful wontons with fresh snow peas, carrots, celery, sliced chicken, barbecue pork and large shrimp too!
2) Number 5 Dinner that comes with Fried Shrimp, Pork fried rice, Sweet and Sour chicken, Subgum chicken chow mein
3) large order of crab puffs
4) large order of fried shrimp
This is our order, we love this meal. We get at least 3 meals out of our order. Always hot and fresh. We don't even mind the 20-minute wait time to make it. Just awesome to have something wonderful local because we like to go home put our pajamas on watch TV and eat all this food.“

“This is the only place that serves Vision hard cider (that I know of), specifically the Colada Cooler (coconut lime)!! It's my absolute favorite cider I've EVER tried ❤️❤️. They don't serve food (other than small bags of chips & I think free popcorn) but they allow outside food which is a plus!! We drive from Beaverton to Canby just so I can get my cider fix occasionally. Finally today 8 Jan 2025 I made contact with Trevor. Ownership has recently changed hands. He is backlogged but getting the orders slowly out!!! I’ll be looking forward to seeing my bottles arrive!!!“
