“We had had the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of Willakenzie that we found in Omaha, Nebraska. We thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided to go to the Vineyard. The wines that are available from the vineyard are even more exceptional than the one that is distributed in Omaha. (Probably not a surprise 😆) We absolutely loved our experience! The tasting room is very beautiful, but we understand they are going to renovate it and add more food service. So we’ll have to come back and check that out! We were excited to buy wines and ship them home.“
“I celebrated my birthday here in September and just had the best experience. The staff was so nice and I felt like royalty the entire time. They are typically closed on Mondays but opened their doors to my group anyway. I highly recommend going here, the wine was amazing, the cheese great and the people fantastic. “We had an amazing Easter Egg Hunt with a Bunny & Unicorn Pony. What a great experience for adults & kiddos. Lots of activities, S'mores & Ice Cream. This Vineyard has the most beautiful ponds, one with KOI the other with Lilies & frogs. There is beautiful Art through out the grounds & inside.

“I enjoyed a lovely wine tasting and charcuterie with my mother and partner on Sidereus' outside, upper deck. The owners and their staff are fantastic. They have a great view of Mt. Hood if you happen to visit when there's no overcast - but either way, that shouldn't deter you from experiencing this top-notch winery. Highly recommend!“

“Ribbon Ridge wines are some of the best of Oregon Wines. Ribbon Ridge is a tiny AVA that produces the amazing grapes. Ridgecrest (RR Wines) knows how to make the most of those grapes. The added plus is fantastic owners and staff. Highly recommend visiting their tasting cottage..“

“We picked Elk Cove as a winery to stop at on our way to the coast for our honeymoon and are so glad we did. We had a great time here from start to finish. We did a tasting of pinot noirs with Gloria who gave us an awesome experience and a wealth of information about the winery and what we were tasting. We really enjoyed the Pinot Noir Reserve and ended up buying a bottle to take with us. The patio and view overlooking the vineyard just can’t be beat. There is also a fairly large indoor space with ample seating if the weather isn’t cooperating. Note that they appeared to be doing some renovations outside but this in no way affected the experience, view, etc. If you’re looking for a great wine experience in the valley, look no further!“

“We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.
This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!
The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.
We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!“

The settings, whether standing at the bar, seated at either at tables, in comfy chairs or overlooking the stunning view. However as special as they are, the wines eclipse them. This is always on our must-visit list.“
“My girlfriend Linda and I both had a glorious and relaxing time sitting outside while tasting and enjoying numerous flights of wine. We purchased a food to accompany our wine making the experience quite delightfully delicious. My 6 bottles of Pinot Noir arrived in Vista, Ca in excellent shape last week after a long and hot summer. I look forward to enjoying this with Sockeye Salmon this coming weekend!!“
“Stopped here on a trip to Oregon. They weren’t able to accomodate us for a tasting ($30 apiece) so we bought a bottle of the chilled Pinot Noir and warm bread with olive oil. Lovely grounds with a beautiful view! Walk to the gift shop and taste all the delicious olive oils and balsamic vinegars for free!“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“Cute spot with gorgeous views. Easy to book online with good hours. Has a very farmy feel. Our pourer was very friendly and has a long knowledge of the area. Sat outside, unsure if there’s indoor seating so come prepared. They have an awesome option for traveling with wine or just great for outdoors: a giant pouch, kinda like an adult capri sun with pour spout. If you’re looking for a place that feels like homey on the porch of a farm then this is the place! You could plan a whole day hopping to adjacent wineries easily.“

I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! Don't miss it on your trip to McMinnville!“
“We had a reservation for a tasting and tour for 5 people at Laurel Ridge for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We were promptly greeted by Lucas, the wine maker for Laurel Ridge, who not only created and served amazing wine but did so with a welcoming and joyous ambiance. The tour was nothing short of amazing, demonstrating the importance of Lucas and his family members' roles. Lucas shared the history of Laurel Ridge, highlighting his father-in-law, mother-in-law and his wife, and how they established in Carlton and Bend. As someone who typically does not choose to drink red wine, I will continue to recommend Laurel Ridge Pinot noir moving forward. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to enjoy wine that is incredible, we highly recommend Laurel Ridge. To add to the experience, Jax the vineyard doggy hangs out on the property and makes the experience that much more exciting.“
“Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“
“We had such a lovely time in the charming tasting room! Mallory and McKenna were just delightful and so knowledgeable, which really enhanced our experience. The Pinots and white blend were so unique and delicious, as was the cheese plate. I really appreciated the gluten free crackers which were excellent. “Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.
My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“Kramer is like home to me !The new tasting was outside on the patio.Three tables at a time. We had a 90 minute time slot reserved. Everyone wore masks when appropriate. Our Hostess Sarah, and server Keri, were wearing masks and as always endearing. I love the time there. The winery itself is intriguing—it may appear to be a simple storefront in the city, but it boasts stunning views of the valley and mountains. “Felix is an amazing mad-scientist type of winemaker. He’s not afraid to try blends of different varietals. They are all good. On top of that, he’s friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to share what he knows with others. Highly recommend.

“Sokol Blosser has a great story, beautiful view, and good wine. We ended up ordering a Butcher Board, and it was quite substantial. Every item on the board was delicious. The tasting is 4 wines, plus you get an extra pour upon arrival. Our experience was enjoyable, and we will return. It is right off 99W, so easy to find. If it's Friday or Saturday, wear your patience hat when leaving. Take your time getting on to 99W.“

“Had a wonderful wine tasting today with Miriam. She was kind and knowledgeable! She taught us so much about the area and the Brittan family and the owner is on their 51st harvest! We loved the wine. It’s the first Chardonnay I’ve ever liked. They’re in a busy season so we got to see a bit of their process and learn more about how the wine is made. We will absolutely come back.“
“Ken Wright in Carlton, Oregon is a beautiful place for a delicious Pinot tasting. The tasting room is fabulous and the outside patio even better. Great wines, great staff ( I wish I had written down the gal’s name that hosted us) as she was knowledgeable, understood our palate and offered additional wines she thought we would like plus she was so fun. She also showed us the 1/2 Bottles we purchased for our at home wine tasting that evening. And of course we purchased other bottles. I recommend booking or stopping in Ken Wright Cellers.“

“I was a club member years ago when Dave and Mary opened this vineyard. I went back yesterday under the new ownership, Cooper Mountain, and it is still lovely with great tasting wines. I don’t like tannic reds or oaky Charonneys where as my boyfriend does. We both found wines we both enjoyed and some we each liked more than each other. Arborbrook continues with a very wide range of flavors!! They also are all organic and biodynamic, I highly recommend !“

As the Beverage Director at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida I literally have access to just about any wine there is in the world, not just the Willamette Valley. While I haven't had a R.Stuart wine I did not enjoy, the single vineyard Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir is a stand out for me every year. I highly recommend stopping by Rob's tasting room when visiting Mcminnville. You will not be disappointed!“
