“We had had the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of Willakenzie that we found in Omaha, Nebraska. We thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided to go to the Vineyard. The wines that are available from the vineyard are even more exceptional than the one that is distributed in Omaha. (Probably not a surprise 😆) We absolutely loved our experience! The tasting room is very beautiful, but we understand they are going to renovate it and add more food service. So we’ll have to come back and check that out! We were excited to buy wines and ship them home.“
“We had an amazing Easter Egg Hunt with a Bunny & Unicorn Pony. What a great experience for adults & kiddos. Lots of activities, S'mores & Ice Cream. This Vineyard has the most beautiful ponds, one with KOI the other with Lilies & frogs. There is beautiful Art through out the grounds & inside.
The Staff are very knowledgeable about their wines & attentive to everything you might need. Thank You, Veronika & Angela for a memorable Easter.“
“I celebrated my birthday here in September and just had the best experience. The staff was so nice and I felt like royalty the entire time. They are typically closed on Mondays but opened their doors to my group anyway. I highly recommend going here, the wine was amazing, the cheese great and the people fantastic. Thank you guys for a great start to 28 ❤️“
“Such a great wine tour and tasting! We had Eric as our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge (as well as a great photographer for group shots). They were very accommodating when we ran into some transportation issues too. The winery has such a cool history and amazing views! This is a must do when visiting the area!“
“What an amazing recommendation from NW Wine Shuttle and Kim. We squeezed them in and it ended up being my favorite part of the day! Spending time with Russell and the heart and story of Flaneur gave me a little bit of Paris married with delicious wine of the Willamette Valley. I cannot wait to return for food pairing and getting the most our of my new membership and reason to head to quaint Carlton from Portland as much as I can and recommending others as well as clients. What a great stop, don't miss it.“
“Another Oregon winery with a beautiful view, but the people here make the difference. I brought my family here and I can’t remember who helped us, but she made us feel like we were part of her family. Relaxed vibe, good wine, and good views“
“Ghost Hill is a 10/10 spot for me. I’m a wine tour guide for Hidden Vineyards Wine Tours.
This is one of my favorite places to bring clients. Cam is such a welcoming owner, and now they’ve upgraded to a really special tasting room. If you’re in the Yamhill Carlton area, this is a place you have to visit.“
“This was a very pleasant surprise. We wandered in without much research. We enjoyed everything we tasted. We settled on a bottle of Pinot Gris and sat by the fireplace. Also, the charcuterie board was a great assortment of snacks. It was a perfect afternoon.“
“Alexana is a must-visit destination in the Willamette Valley! The entire hospitality team, including Marcela, Mike, Julia, Carol, and Jeff, have consistently delivered stellar service and memorable experiences for us to cherish while enjoying unique wines crafted with an unwavering commitment to quality.
We find it so special to be able to sample and purchase incredible wines from each of their 3 estates spanning across Oregon, Napa, and Argentina.
Becoming members at Alexana is truly one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve made in the wine world, and I can’t recommend a visit to their beautiful estate enough.“
“We were recommended to visit this winery and the experience did not disappoint. Katie took care of us and took the time to explain to us the nuisances of wine tasting and wine making. She is very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm is contagious. Definitely will be coming back to visit with our friends and family members. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable experience.“
“My husband and I absolutely loved our experience at Lemelson. We went on a quiet morning and had the best time. The wine was top notch- everything from rose, chardonnay, and of course, all the Pinots. The customer service was excellent- Delaney was amazing!!! She assisted tremendously in getting my wine club membership set up and I can't wait to receive my shipment :)“
“We had a great tasting experience! The wine was very good and everything was explained well, we never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything extra but we did bring a bottle home of our favorite wine we tasted yesterday! Great experience, thank you!“
“Beautiful setting, spectacular wines & approachable prices. Loved meeting Pinot the Black Lab, who is the inspiration for the brand & will be sure to visit again.“
“As far as the Willamette Valley goes, this is a must hit. I know there are endless wineries here but let me be the one to help you narrow it down. And if you happen to be hosted by Tekla you are guaranteed a great time. Beautiful setting, excellent wine, and rich history. PGC or bust!“
“Ribbon Ridge wines are some of the best of Oregon Wines. Ribbon Ridge is a tiny AVA that produces the amazing grapes. Ridgecrest (RR Wines) knows how to make the most of those grapes. The added plus is fantastic owners and staff. Highly recommend visiting their tasting cottage..“

“They are a new winery in Carlton. They are just the nicest people. I dropped in to say welcome to the neighborhood and left about an hour and a half later! The wines are also some of the best I have ever had! What a great experience! I highly recommend a stop in to try their amazing wines and have a wonderful experience in wine country!“
“This was the perfect plane to take our family visiting from out of the country! They loved the setting, the wine, and our wonderful server Sydney was the highlight! The whole staff was also so kind to our pup, what a delight that they are also dog friendly.“
“My girlfriend Linda and I both had a glorious and relaxing time sitting outside while tasting and enjoying numerous flights of wine. We purchased a food to accompany our wine making the experience quite delightfully delicious. My 6 bottles of Pinot Noir arrived in Vista, Ca in excellent shape last week after a long and hot summer. I look forward to enjoying this with Sockeye Salmon this coming weekend!!“
“We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.
This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!
The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.
We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!“
“Stopped here on a trip to Oregon. They weren’t able to accomodate us for a tasting ($30 apiece) so we bought a bottle of the chilled Pinot Noir and warm bread with olive oil. Lovely grounds with a beautiful view! Walk to the gift shop and taste all the delicious olive oils and balsamic vinegars for free!“
“Great place to visit, relax, and sip some great wines.“
“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“
“Nice people great wine!! I highly recommend going there.“
“Every Memorial Day and/or Thanksgiving, I make a trip out to visit Westrey's warehouse in McMinnville. Dave and Amy are such great hosts who make amazing wine! I always have to buy pinot from Justice, Oracle, and Abbey Ridge because I can never decide on a favorite because they are so elegant and interesting in their own way.If you want to support a small family winery, this is it! Don't miss it on your trip to McMinnville!“
“We had a reservation for a tasting and tour for 5 people at Laurel Ridge for my mother-in-law's 50th birthday. We were promptly greeted by Lucas, the wine maker for Laurel Ridge, who not only created and served amazing wine but did so with a welcoming and joyous ambiance. The tour was nothing short of amazing, demonstrating the importance of Lucas and his family members' roles. Lucas shared the history of Laurel Ridge, highlighting his father-in-law, mother-in-law and his wife, and how they established in Carlton and Bend. As someone who typically does not choose to drink red wine, I will continue to recommend Laurel Ridge Pinot noir moving forward. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to enjoy wine that is incredible, we highly recommend Laurel Ridge. To add to the experience, Jax the vineyard doggy hangs out on the property and makes the experience that much more exciting.“
“the wine and the service are both fantastic.“
“What a wonderful wine experience with Nora. We tried the Reserve Flight with side by side Pinot's. 2018 & 2021 Matteri Vineyards & Autograph. Nora was very knowledgeable about the wines & R.Stuart. Highly recommend stopping in & enjoy our Historic 3rd Street.“
“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.
My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“
“Delicious wines; cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Jasmina will take good care of you!“
“Cellar Door Wine Tours took us to Tendril Wine Cellars first on our 3-winery tour and warned us we'd like it best. We truly did. Each wine was delicious. I'm an Oregon pinot noir fan and they make great ones, but also loved their white pinot noir and rose. Tasting manager Andrew was delightful and kept us both informed and laughing! The tasting room is very small, but they also have outside picnic tables for warmer months. Make an appointment and enjoy! I signed up for the wine club as I enjoyed every sip.“
“Felix is an amazing mad-scientist type of winemaker. He’s not afraid to try blends of different varietals. They are all good. On top of that, he’s friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to share what he knows with others. Highly recommend.
Btw, the driveway to his place is kind of narrow. It may appear you’re not in the right spot. But you are. You are in EXACTLY the right spot.“
“Kramer is like home to me !The new tasting was outside on the patio.Three tables at a time. We had a 90 minute time slot reserved. Everyone wore masks when appropriate. Our Hostess Sarah, and server Keri, were wearing masks and as always endearing. I love the time there. We have visited many times before becoming members the first of the year.Looking forward to dinners, classes, and musical performances in the future! This is a great vinyard with learning opportunities, views, and the top flight staff“
“We had an amazing time during our visit! While we didn't sample every wine, the Cabernet Franc truly stood out for us. The winery itself is intriguing—it may appear to be a simple storefront in the city, but it boasts stunning views of the valley and mountains. We also enjoyed the bocce ball courts, and the staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the prices were very reasonable!“
“Phenomenal experience and service. Classy operation and on point with great service. I’m shocked about the William review as so not what we experienced. The best and certainly will be back! Have been coming here for 30 years and always like a first!“
“Super yummy wines, wonderful people, and a nice, laidback vibe. ❤️“
“Really good wines and incredibly knowledgeable staff in an intriguing tasting house and deck with Asian flair. The wines are incredible here. Experience felt both luxurious and down to earth. One of our top places on a week-long wine tasting trip. Will definitely go again!“
“For a very intimate tasting of some truly great wines, Native Flora should be on the top of your list. Looking forward to opening our bottles we bought and getting more from this cutting edge wine maker. Beautiful home, property, and dog 💕“
“First time to this state much less McMinnville.... And I have to say we had the best time at Pike Road sampling different wines!! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and made our visit...the wines are great too! If you're lucky you'll run into Jeff.... He's big on aerating and everything Oregon!! Quit reading and go!!“
“Troy was GREAT! Very friendly and personable, loved learning about the wines and vineyards.
The wine was amazing (great pinot noirs), and the cheese plate was VERY generous.
The views were also spectacular. Definitely worth a visit and a return visit for us!“
“Ken Wright in Carlton, Oregon is a beautiful place for a delicious Pinot tasting. The tasting room is fabulous and the outside patio even better. Great wines, great staff ( I wish I had written down the gal’s name that hosted us) as she was knowledgeable, understood our palate and offered additional wines she thought we would like plus she was so fun. She also showed us the 1/2 Bottles we purchased for our at home wine tasting that evening. And of course we purchased other bottles. I recommend booking or stopping in Ken Wright Cellers.“
“Wines that are a good mix of displaying typical Oregon pinot fruit, but with enough restraint to let the complexity shine through.“
“Had an amazing evening at K&M! One of the best customer service experiences of my life. Our group visited several wineries during our trip and agreed that K&M had the most delicious wines and hospitable employees. Thank you so much Jenni and Philipe for the unforgettable tasting!!!“
“Very laid back with old school pricing. Love their whites and Rose. They’re sold out of Sauvignon Blanc. Great deal and atmosphere although just off the highway.“
“I was a club member years ago when Dave and Mary opened this vineyard. I went back yesterday under the new ownership, Cooper Mountain, and it is still lovely with great tasting wines. I don’t like tannic reds or oaky Charonneys where as my boyfriend does. We both found wines we both enjoyed and some we each liked more than each other. Arborbrook continues with a very wide range of flavors!! They also are all organic and biodynamic, I highly recommend !“
“An amazing experience a great hospitality. Ryan always makes the experience for my wife and our guests enjoyable. I truly hate to tell you about this hidden gem but these guy's deserve the recognition. Hands down my favorite place to hangout and enjoy the sports on TV at the tasting room.“
“Beautiful setting and great wine!!“
“Great wines, relaxed atmosphere, nice little farm there as well. Winemaker is very knowledgeable about all the grapes.“
“Stellar OG winery.. we tasted at sequitur since their tasting room was under construction, but the experience wasn’t diminished. Amazing expressions of the vineyard and wonderful flavor profiles with the explanation to go along. Can’t wait to try again in the new building!Peter was a fantastic guide and knew so much about the vineyard and history of the family.“
“I love Rob's exceptional wines! As the Beverage Director at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida I literally have access to just about any wine there is in the world, not just the Willamette Valley. While I haven't had a R.Stuart wine I did not enjoy, the single vineyard Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir is a stand out for me every year. I highly recommend stopping by Rob's tasting room when visiting Mcminnville. You will not be disappointed!“

“My husband, friends and I visited Gran Moraine for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. Preston, our tasting room host was incredibly kind and knowledgeable! He clearly and passionately explained the winery’s history and wine production process. Tim was also wonderful and kind. The wines were phenomenal. We will absolutely return again!“
