“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“I would like to recognize the outstanding service we received from Gina Picciano, the manager at Lola's Garden. From the very beginning, Gina went above and beyond to ensure my daughter's bridal shower was absolutely perfect—and it truly was. She reached out to me several times on her own to check in, answer questions, and reassure me that no matter what the weather brought, she would make sure we were accommodated, whether indoors or outdoors. Gina even gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her anytime if I needed anything. Every time I reached out, she responded immediately with professionalism, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. She made me feel like no request was too much trouble. On the day of the event, Gina exceeded every expectation. She personally provided directions for unloading and arranged for her staff to help carry in all of my decorations. Her positive attitude never wavered. She never responded with "no" or "I can't." Instead, she focused on finding solutions and making everything work. Nearly 40 guests attended the shower, and so many of them commented on how beautiful and perfectly organized everything was. I honestly could not have pulled it off without Gina's support, guidance, and willingness to help every step of the way. Lola's Garden is fortunate to have someone like Gina Picciano leading your team. She is an exceptional manager, a true professional, and a tremendous asset to your restaurant. “I was excited to eat here because i heard good things, but unfortunately the quality food was disappointing. And as we were leaving our table on the second floor, a mouse darted from one of the planters, to under our table then to under the bar. Definately not coming back.“

“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

“Worth the wait. This was our last Philly Michelin m-starred restaurant to try. It’s the absolute best. The food was extraordinary and I’m already dreaming of my next meal there. My particular favorites included the buckwheat tart with morels and both pasta courses (one was an add on). Sadly I will now never feel satiated unless I’m eating Chef Schulman’s triangoli. A beautiful and intimate space with incredible care by the entire staff. Amanda Schulman was incredibly welcoming and engaged with the diners. Wine pairing was outstanding as was my Negroni made with Bruto Americano. The marzipan rhubarb cake was the stuff dreams are made of. So, so, so happy after this meal. Did I mention? Attentive and wonderful, wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing evening!“

“Great Sports Bar! Plenty of TVs in their main bar area and both dinning rooms. I would absolutely recommend you get the burger. It was packed full of greens, with the lettuce sauteed onions and grilled eggplant, but balanced it nicely with a big meaty patty and delicious house sauce. The fries were also exceptional, potentially double fried and thick cut, these steak fries were crispy and the perfect compliment to the burger. Staff was friendly and attentive and the neighborhood was cute!“

“Over a month ago my daughter and I had lunch at Seasons 52, King of Prussia. I am really careful regarding eating out because I have sensitivities to certain foods which include onions, scallions, shallots, leeks, chives, and garlic. I explained everything to my server. She went above and beyond and consulted with the Chef to make sure there were no mistakes with my order. She did a wonderful thing! David Jacobo, the Executive Chef Partner at Seasons 52 came to my table and discussed what he could do. He prepared a special appetizer of "Flatbread" which was artfully plated and decadent with fresh basil. He also added a special side to replace a dish that was not on my diet. Chef David came to our table several times to question how I was enjoying his specific dishes. I know firsthand about being turned away from a restaurant because they could not accommodate certain dietary requests. A wonderful experience from the start with an attentive waitress and caring Chef. Highly recommend.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“The Butcher Bar is very lively in a fun way. We sat next to a large party of adults and kids celebrating a birthday and everyone was having fun, no matter their age. It's tough to pull that off. My husband and I both had a steak. I had steak frites and he had a steak with asparagus and mashers. The food was yummy and in large portions (think this might be a Philly thing). Our server was just starting that evening and she did a great job. I had a delicious cocktail with prosecco and my husband had a nice glass of red.“

“What a wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy a dinner together. Our daughter has Celiac, and most places have a few options for her, but this is finally a place with a full menu for her, including appetizers and desserts! They have a gluten free menu, but most of the food is prepared without gluten anyway, and everything was delicious! It was so nice to be able to share plates, appetizers and desserts with her! My son, who has no allergies, but is very picky, said it was the best mac and cheese he's ever had, and wanted more for dessert! The service was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. I mentioned in my reservation that I am disabled and that we were celebrating 2 birthdays. There were 2 hand drawn birthday cards on the table when we arrived, and they sat us in a very accessible location. A delightful experience!“

“I had a fantastic visit to Yards Brewing Company, and it was one of the highlights of my time in Philadelphia. The brewery has a spacious, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a casual meal. I ordered a flight of beers to sample a few different styles along with a burger and fries. The beers were fresh and flavorful, and the food was just as impressive, with generous portions and great taste.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend beers based on my preferences. The only small downside was that it got pretty busy later in the evening, so there was a bit of a wait to order another round, but the lively atmosphere made the time pass quickly.

My tip for first-time visitors is to order a beer flight before choosing a full pint. If you're hungry, pair your drinks with one of the house sandwiches or burgers—they go together perfectly.
