“Excellent food and service!! I came for the spanakopita and it didn’t disappoint!! They make it in house as well as all of the Greek food. The crust was perfect. I can’t wait to return to try the rest.

The pastries are made by a local bakery in S Philly.

They also make some flavored fun teas! I’ll have to come back for the coffee.

The staff I interacted with was really welcoming and informative. She took the time to explain the Greek items to me. Im excited to come back to continue trying the remaining menu items.“

“As somebody who can't have dairy, it's extremely difficult to find ice cream I can eat, let alone SOFT SERVE!!! This place is a godsend. The vegan vanilla is super delicious and they have a wide variety of topping options for extra flavor. My husband is a big fan of their regular, dairy-full soft serve too. Love this place!!“

“This Starbucks was renovated a few years back so it now has a very open feel consistent with other locations. Many of the seats don’t have full backs. The staff are friendly. The menu is full. There is nice natural light. I didn’t need to wait long on an early Saturday morning. There are parking lots nearby.“

“We came here during the height of FIFA. Even so, it wasn't that crowded inside. We got the pumpkin & banana bread and the drip coffee. I believe it was the owner that was taking our order; she was very nice! The pumpkin bread was very delicious! There was also a good amount of seating inside, although it looks small from outside. The interior and overall atmosphere of the cafe was very welcoming and relaxing.“

The pastries are good, the space is very clean, and there is comfortable seating with a great window view for laptop work.

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“I took my mom out to brunch and just randomly decided to walk across the street and see some vendor shops set up outside. I was informed that this is the best coffee around by the owner (who also passionately raved about his wife who runs the business). I wasn't skeptical but told him, EVERYBODY says that but I was happy to indulge. I ended up grabbing a coffee and well, it did not disappoint. The taste was amazing, the experience was personable, and the impact will ensure anytime I travel to Philly I will come back to grab my coffee here. “We had a great time at Habitat! The coffee was top notch-great specialty Kyoto cold brew (you don't see that everywhere), and excellent milk drinks. I had a cortado and my buddy had a cappuccino and both were excellent. The two women behind the counter were incredible, cranking out drinks as the cafe stayed busy. For those familiar with the scene in Houston, their pandan foam coffee is similar to Le'DRIP, but with richer coffee notes and their lychee matcha is similar to that of Kohiko's (though nothing will beat Kohiko in my heart!).
