“Delicious ever changing menu featuring farm fresh ingredients and locally sourced foods. Lovely to enjoy a quick bite with outdoor seating along the river. Creative and tasty drinks and treats. Some seating is available under the shade of an outdoor tent.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible from the parking lot following the drive to the right of the building towards the boat ramp. If you approach from the left around the back of the building there may be some steps and a narrow path.“

“I thought the pizza was pretty good! I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, even in Pittsburgh. But it’s definitely good! The dough is fluffy which I love. For some reason when I ordered online, they didn’t have the vegan pepperoni. The cheese is a massive upcharge too…“

“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“Incredible food, drinks and service! The atmosphere is lovely as well, it's a treat to dine in the garden when the weather is warm. They have very creative and delicious cocktails, I enjoyed their take on an old fashioned with chai tea and smoked cedar. I recommend ordering family style so you can try as much as possible. The roti with chicken curry, pork satay, tuna laab, 17 ingredient salad, stir fried morning glory and mushrooms, chicken jungle curry and khao soi beef cheek were all delicious!!! We also enjoyed the coconut ice cream and Thai custard for dessert, it's hard to go wrong here when everything on the menu is so good. Tables are hard to book, but if you can't get a reservation you can walk in if you show up 15-20 minutes before they open“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“The Forge has been an absolute staple in Pittsburgh for the past seven years. I’ve visited at least fifty times, and every single meal has been nothing short of incredible. Their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Feta Feta Bang Bang, are outstanding. The Tuna Steak, grape leaves, hummus, and Old World Falafel (truly the best you’ll ever have) are all top-notch.

When it comes to cocktails, The Forge easily stands out as the best in Pittsburgh—by far. I’ve explored countless spots, and this place is number one. The drinks are crafted with so much care. They are unmatched.

The service is consistently phenomenal, It’s family-owned and operated and you can see the passion come through in the atmosphere and every ingredient of everything they put out. The setting is both welcoming and dimly lit. Every visit is an experience.

I can’t recommend The Forge enough—it’s a true gem.

Parking: There’s a lot designated to the forge to the left of the building. I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. There’s plenty of street parking too.“

“Our large party had a wonderful experience celebrating a college graduation at Monterey Bay. Our group was accommodated at a table with a beautiful view of The Point. The service was exceptional, and we felt very welcome and special. We were not rushed, our graduate was made to feel extra special with complimentary dessert, and unique postcards signed by the table. The staff even offered to take our pictures in front of the amazing view. The food was very good, albeit pricier than what we are accustomed to, but we knew that when we made the reservations. Highly recommend for a special event.“

“My family went for lunch on Saturday, the place was absolutely packed! And for good reason, the food was absolutely delicious! And the service we received from our waiter was perfect. Elijah was very attentive and always happy to meet my toddlers many requests 😅 Also would like to add that even though they were super busy, it took them less than 10 minutes to get us seated and the food didn’t take long to come out at all. All the food was hot and fresh, even the strawberries were freshly cut. We will definitely be spending many more breakfast and lunch dates here!“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan.
