“This was my first dining experience at Piccolo and will not be the last! Staff - hostess, bar tender, and Manager were all very friendly and attentive. I am a fussy Italian cook, and I will say that the Pappardelle Bolognese was the best I ever had!!! Menu is extensive and can't wait to go back! Last night was completely different and I thought it was important to say so. The service was attentive. The wine list was expanded and had more affordable options. But the star of the night was the food. Eggplant fritters were crispy outside and pillowy inside and came with a delicious complementary dipping sauce. A charcuterie board is not usually something that excites me. But the selections we tried were transportative. The pecorino tartufo with our Pinot noir were the perfect pair. The other meats and cheese we tried made every bite a party. Our entree selection was the lasagne, which we didn't realize was vegetarian. The dish completely won us over. “A beautiful restaurant for medium to large parties or a delicious intimate dinner. We had a private birthday brunch for 50 and enjoyed an awesome menu of choices. The staff was great and the dining room is gorgeous. It's BYOB, so we brought beer, wine and stuff for Martinis and Manhattans. Parking is a large lot in the rear. The staff set it all up for us. GREAT place!“

The veal Milanese was tender and delicious, accompanied by fresh mixed vegetables and potatoes, which were oven roasted to perfection. The lobster and crab ravioli was exceptional, served with a vodka rose cream sauce; and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Our server, Nicole, was friendly and very knowledgeable. She made wonderful suggestions and took her time describing the different meal choices available on the varied menu. We were too full to try dessert, but they looked delicious! (Next time!!) Topping off the experience was delightful live music courtesy of a very talented man named Calvin. We will be back and will tell our friends!“

We went for an early dinner and the dining room was empty, but they sat us in a back hallway next to the rest rooms. Say what? I've never been to an Italian restaurant that didn't try to do something special with the bread they serve (maybe homemade or hot from the oven, etc), this place nothing, just cold rolls they picked up at the grocery store. We liked the dinner but I probably would not go back.“

“Every time I fly back to PA my first stop after grabbing rental car, Corropolese on Egypt Rd is my first stop. Nothing like home like a couple Tomato Pies and the first is usually gone by the time I get to Reading. Driving while eating a slice and minimizing the sauce on one’s hand is skill best learned through practice. 😀
Staff is always friendly and the 1/4 pies are always stacked high, ready to go. Don’t change a thing Corropolese and keep up the great work!“

“My sister and I were looking for Italian and decided to drive by for a look. The parking lot was a little sad, but inside was really nice. I think Don was our waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu and substitutions we might like better. Nice, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent and large portions. I couldn’t eat another bite, but we enjoyed it very much!“
