“We were there for lunch, loved the food, especially the short rib pizza, and I usually don't eat pizza. My friend thought there was a little too much cheese. Never. I had some sort of crab pasta. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.“

Not everything was perfect; such a good restaurant should offer a decent espresso. Still, the pleasures of a small family restaurant, aspiring albeit uneven, far outweigh its odd deficiencies. “As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Didn’t take any photos of the food, but it was very colorful and well presented. We had a variety of appetizers: Bruschetta, Cesar Salad as well as Artichoke Hearts. My friends had a soup and a steak. They loved it. My wife and I shared a pasta primavera. So so full of fresh veggies! Didn’t feel like a sacrifice to be vegetarian at all. “Really kind staff and yummy breakfast! We've ordered delivery a few times for breakfast because I saw that they offer gluten-free options. Gluten free is not listed on the delivery app menus but I took a chance ordering pancakes and adding a note requesting gluten free. I figured if they sent regular pancakes my husband could just eat them. Not only was it not an issue, but they clearly labeled the food for us as well. I've ordered gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles with no problem and it has been really nice as a treat once in a while, esp. since most places in our area don't offer gluten free versions. I thought they had gluten free muffins as well and ordered them, opting to just refund if they didn't have them. Instead of refunding the gluten free muffins or just sending regular muffins in their place, they sent a free order of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes with a note on the box. It was so nice of them, and completely unnecessary! Having to adjust to a gluten free diet is a big, inconvenient chore and often disappointing as you realize your options for treats have been seriously limited. Every meal kind of becomes a drag. It's really nice to have a local place that can accommodate this need! I realize that ordering these kinds of foods pretty much guarantees cross contamination because we can't expect kitchens to have totally separate areas and tools just for some orders--but it's a choice I make once in a while and I'm lucky not to be a person with severe/immediate reactions to exposure. I've never felt sick after eating breakfast from Valentino's and it's not an everyday treat but I'm super grateful to have it as an option!!!“
