“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. Food was great will definitely be a return customer“

“Enjoyed our meals. Very authentic. I had shrimp tacos, husband had Asada Mexico which was a generous portion. My presidente margarita was very good, maybe a touch sweet from the apricot brandy. Decorated cute for Halloween. Prices very reasonable. Didn't love Fox News on one of the TVs in the bar, but that's really my only complaint. Will definitely go back.“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“I really enjoyed visiting this craft brewery. Their IPAs are really good, specially the Hazies.
They have indoor seating and a big outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Pet friendly.
There is a food truck at the entrance and they allow food from outside. We ordered takeout and brought it here to have it with some good beers.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). I recommend Delanie's to everyone in hopes of it becoming their favorite spot too!“

“I frequent this restaurant often. I came in last week and requested a few items substituted on my salad due to dietary restrictions. Toi ensured that my food came out correctly and didn’t make it seem like I was asking for too much (unlike serves in the past)! Now that’s GREAT service! “My family loves Noodlehead. All the dishes I've tried have been excellent! Food is top notch. I'm partial to the Chicken See Yew.
Careful on how spicy you order the dish...it can get very spicy very quickly. This is a cash pay only restaurant, so be prepared for that.

Parking is tough...because it's Shadyside. If you go for an early dinner there is never any wait.

“Prices are terrific, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect out of a tavern, with a bonus from some potted plants.

The soup du jour, a spiced black bean soup, was out of this world. The fried pickles were the best fried pickle wedges I've ever had, with some terrific batter. The wings were good. The sauces were delicious, especially the spice golden BBQ sauce we had (golden goldenboy, I think). The only thing was they weren't crispy.

We'll definitely be back though.“

Called ahead to see if they sell by the slice (they do) a wonderfully kind women answered the phone and took my order. ~15 mins later I’m enjoying warm custom made pizza slices. Reminds me of the cherished ‘galaxy’’ pizza I used to get growing up.

“Absolutely obsessed.  Homemade, house-smoked barbeque.   The owners and staff are extremely sweet and friendly.  They do have indoor and outdoor seating which is super nice in the warmer months.  They do close in the one area for additional seating and have heaters so it’s not too cold! The flavor, spices and way the items were prepared with absolutely delicious.  The meat melts right in your mouth.  Tried the wings- three jumbo smoked whole wings. They are slow cooked & flash fried. The pulled pork sandwich was incredible- slow smoked pork, tossed in a house Carolina cider mop piled on top of a Breadworks bun and Pittsburgh pickles. The brisket is a slow smoked Texas style brisket and we tried that on top of the creamy Mac and cheese. WOW- the brisket was so tender. And of course had to try their corn bread. Which came hot and totally hit the spot.“

“Really nice little shop. Prices are fair and selection is good. Decent selection of Chinese teas for gong fu but definitely caters more to flavored and herbal tea drinkers. The woman who runs the shop is very kind and has even replaced a broken gaiwan lid for me at no charge. At least 2 times I've gone I've been given samples to try out and that's a very nice gesture. One complaint is that parking is difficult on the street, but that is no fault to the shop.

Highly reccomend the jasmine dragon pearls, white silver needle jasmine, monkey picked golden hunnan, golden monkey, milk oolong, and organic TKY oolong.“

“My husband and I stopped by yesterday with our young autistic son. We gave the staff a heads up that eating inside may or may not work depending on our son and how he was able to handle it. The people were so kind, understanding, and accommodating and did everything they could to try to make our visit possible. From giving us the choice of where we'd feel most comfortable to sit, to offering cartoons and crayons. They even made up a batch of fries before we came in so our son would have something to eat as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately we weren't able to eat inside but we did get our food to go and it was delicious. Being the parent of an autistic child can be challenging, and it makes all the difference in the world to feel like there are people who care. They absolutely made our day. Thank you so so much.“

“East End Brewing hosted Dating in Pittsburgh’s Furry Friends & Fresh Brews event on July 31, 2024. With 100+ Pittsburgh singles and 40 adorable dogs in attendance, the spacious venue was perfect for mingling. The layout encouraged easy interaction, allowing people to mingle organically while their furry friends had a blast meeting each other.

The atmosphere at East End Brewing was welcoming, and you could see the staff’s dedication to creating an inclusive experience for everyone.

One of the highlights of the event was the delicious food and drinks! The variety of beers and ciders complemented the pizza wonderfully.

Has a food menu, but wasn’t hungry so can’t comment on the food.
I had two beers: Lawn Bubble 5% hazy, and an Icebound, listed as a cold IPA at 6.8%.
Both were decent for the hazy style that I prefer.
I will definitely be back. Looking forward to hanging on the deck overlooking the river.“
