“Driven by the place a few times and stopped for dinner based upon a recommendation. It is located on Rt 413 at the intersection with Rt 202. Their menu has enough variety for nearly everyone and the portions were very large. The prices were reasonable and they also have both an early bird special plus a daily dinner special that is very good and inexpensive. The wait staff was really very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy about the place, it has an old school feel to it. There are a lot of seats at the bar plus some booths and tables. We would definitely go here again.“

“This was second time having dinner here in ten years! I can't remember what I had in 2015, but on Friday I had the Bronzino and my husband had the Filet Mignon. We also shared the gnocchi as an appetizer. The food was made to perfection. I don't know how the chef does it. My Bronzino was very buttery peeling away from the skin and the peppers that accompanied were seasoned so well. I wish we could have date night here every month but the gnocchi appetizer portion was too small for the price and we were charged $8 for one bottle of sparkling water. Also would be nice if there were more entrees to choose from. This particular evening had only 1-2 non seafood options. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20-30 minutes for our table as well.“

The staff were very personable, Will, Chris, Natalie and Sean were fantastic, attentive, timely in a good way. We didn't wait when we needed refreshments. “The food options are fantastic. The burgers have flame grilled flavor with hearty bacon. The chicken strips are impressive and consistently large and flavorful. Much better option than Cane's in my opinion. The family enjoys the fried rice ranking higher than several Asian restaurants in the same area. Beyond protein choice, cannot customize ingredients- example, no onions. When I arrive the location is empty, no line, yet feel rushed to transact in 10 seconds. Learn from other restaurants and customers so business may grow.“

“Dine here. Nice setting, but the main dining room in which we were seated is crowded and moderately noisy. It is a tight squeeze between tables; and especially in the winter with folks wearing heavy coats/large jackets, we had to be mindful of folks not knocking off our wine bottle or glasses filled with wine or water. A bit tricky all of that. The service was very good and attentive. I had the burger with half salad. The burger was cooked properly, moist, and well attired with the fixings requested. My wife had cod filet, a bone in the first bite. Good it was not me, I would have stopped eating immediately. Other than that, the fish was well prepared. The wine selection is small, luckily, with a good selection of varietals, blends and price points. The selections pair well with the menu choices. We will return.“

“We LOVE Penn Taproom. Nick, Alby, Gabby, Carley, Payton, Paige, Megan, Faith, Adam and the entire staff are very fast and friendly. Many beers in tap and countless cocktail options. The food is elevated bar food. Famous Smash burgers, the soft pretzels with cheese dip, Ahi Tuna, rice bowls, tacos, taco salads, weekly specials, this food choices are endless and very good quality. Come with your friends, catch a game, dance with the juke box or just sit in their large, open air garden or grab a table at this large open window bar.“

“Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

We always have a good time?drinks are reasonably priced, and the other patrons are usually super friendly.We love the staff, we love Rick the regular DJ and we never feel unsafe at this bar. The regulars welcome new comers very easily ?✨️? and everyone gets a chance to sing as long as Rick is In charge of the roster.The bartender is a stand up guy too. This passed Sunday, closer to 2am, (6/19) a belligerent drunk started to say all sorts of ugly things about the LGBTQIA+ and black people. As soon as the bartender was made aware, he quickly told that "man" and his friends to get out.The regular DJ, Rick is currently on his vacation and his fill-in apparently shares the opinion of the disgusting bigot, my friends heard him say "I don't care about all that juneteenth stuff, I just don't want *them* near my car."I don't know who this dj thought his audience was, but that kind of comment is not appreciated. I trust the regular staff, and I do hope they hear enough feed back about this, and can set up a new replacement for when their regular DJ is unavailable. :( dunno if I can go to karaoke when Rick isn't there?Happy Juneteenth and Pride Month?✊?? ??️‍⚧️?️‍??✨️“
