“This is the perfect Italian restaurant, in my opinion. I will say this is my first time here. The food is excellent and the sauces are some of the best I have ever tasted. Veal Piacquadio & Veal Marsala were so flavorful and cooked exactly right. The side pasta (rigatoni and gravy) is normally pretty bland, but not this one. Once again, the sauce was fantastic. The service is exactly what I like, informal, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is a neighborhood Italian joint, which is perfect for me. I'm not one for stuffiness, but fun and friendly. Check out this place if you have not and want a casual tasty experience.“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. “My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. Menu selections included: • Gemelli with Homemade Meat Sauce – twisted pasta served with a rich, slow-simmered sauce • Cavatappi with Creamy Pesto – corkscrew pasta tossed in a vibrant basil pesto sauce The food servings were plentiful, the aroma was inviting, and the dishes were bright, fresh, and full of flavor. “Exceptional first experience at Fish nor Fowl! Every morsel was full of flavor. We started with the chickory salad on the feature menu which was crispy and lightly dressed. The steak tartar was served in a bone with lightly toasted focaccia. Our entrees were both equally delicious. We missed the opportunity to enjoy the homemade pastas so there will need to be a return visit! The menu is at the top end our dining budget but the quality is there so recommend for special occasions.“

The toppings are perfectly mixed and heated to melt together and the flat bread crust technique should be studied by children!!!
