“This was a yelp find that ended up being a total diamond of a find. The drinks were well made and not overdone. The Brussel sprout appetizer is the best I have ever had. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers are just amazing. Finally, dessert is just.... Wow. True creme brulee, made the way it was meant to be and in such a perfect abundant portion. We could not be more thrilled with our experience. “Was a little disappointed in the pork belly, it seemed to not have been cooked long enough as it was tough. The classic short ribs were however perfection.Ambiance is wonderful, with a very cozy atmosphere. Reservations recommended!! A bit pricey, but when they get it right it is certainly worth it.“

“Superb food in a comfortable, upscale setting. I would make this one of my restaurants of choice for business meetings. I ordered the grouper and a Caesar salad. The fish was perfectly baked and seasoned, flaky and moist. The waiter brought my party a whole carafe of lemon water. Our seats by the window ensured our conversation wasn't overwhelmed by other restaurant patrons. No complaints. I'm looking forward to sampling some of their other dishes.“

“I recently dined at this location and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The server, Julie, was wonderful. Attentive and informative, while being unobtrusive. The ribs and baked beans were quite good. The baked beans had huge tender pieces of pork in them. I kind of wish I had ordered a plate of those! The little things, like refilling water and providing extra napkins and wipes, were attended to without interrupting the table. We had great service. Sometimes, even with a good meal, the service can make it a not-so-good experience. Prices have gone up since the last time I was here, but I left feeling as though I got my money’s worth. “My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time and it was fantastic. Best breakfast food we’ve ever had. I’ve been looking for a place that makes sausage gravy just like my mom and had no luck, until we dined here! Food was fantastic and came out quickly, as well as being huge portions. Partner had Chunky Monkey pancakes with sausage that he raved about; I had the Pot Roast French Dip with corn fritters as a side, and it was everything I wanted in a diner meal.Seems like a well-run place; everything looked to be running smoothly and the staff all seemed comfortable with the level of customers. “One of the best dining experiences I've had in York! The French onion soup sandwich is one of the best things I've ever tasted! Also - amazing fries with it. My fiancé got the orange glazed chicken which was just as good. The staff were also amazing, and we had a great waitress! For our appetizer we had the cheese fondue, which was great as well. It felt upscale, but the prices were super affordable and reasonable. It was also casual, which we loved!“

“I live in Maryland and was visiting a friend in the area. Wanted pizza, found this place on google and it was close, so we decided to try it. We ended up getting strombolis. The staff was amazing, and the food was outstanding! Very reasonably priced and giant portions! We already decided to come back next time I visit and we're trying the pizza lol. “After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.“

“My mother has been telling me for months to try this place. Well, we tried it last night. It was great! A small, unimpressive bar connected to a bowling alley. The food was excellent. I had the ribeye with brussel sprouts. It was cooked perfectly and hands down one of the best steaks I've had in the area. My wife had the filet. It too was excellent and cooked perfectly. Our server was short handed by another server calling in sick...she handled the volume with ease and was extremely pleasant and attentive. Live music came on just before we left and was a nice touch. Our table was weirdly sticky and she did everything she could to clean it. She ended up moving us to another table after finding out the varnish on the table sits in the sun causing the stickiness. “BEST fresh food. Been coming here for years. It's a regular lunch spot of mine. The employees are so so friendly. I always get a side of ranch and they go out of their way to remember that I get the extra ranch on the side. Talk about customer service. If you're thinking about trying it, just go you won't regret it. The ingredients are always fresh and it's the same every time. I have never had a bad wrap or salad. “1st time visit. The dining room is very big and bright. We did an early Friday dinner to get the AYCE fish fry. There seemed to be a lot of idle employees. Our waitress was extremely nice and efficient. The food was hot,good portions and tasted great. We did ask questions of 2 different waitstaff that neither could answer. We plan to come back so that's a good thing.Parking: Parking is right behind restaurant. It is tight but do able. The lot was full but restaurant wasn't. Don't know if employees also use the lot.“

“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“

“This is easily within walking distance of what was home for a few years so I've eaten here a lot. Staff is friendly and the food never disappoints. Breakfast is my most often eaten meal here, but also eat here at least a couple times a month on nights when we don't get around to cooking early enough. “We stopped here by chance after a concert at the American Music Center in Lancaster . At first glance from outside, it just looked like a bar, not seedy, but maybe questionable. Once inside, you felt at home , a nice little neighborhood bar. The food was good and the service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I definitely would stop back in if I was in the area.“

“We love Stony Run Brew House! Our “go to” place for great food, atmosphere and prices. Recently saw they have a small banquet space and booked it for a surprise birthday party with over 30 guests. My only complaint was that the sub rolls are so skinny that they barely hold anything, making it very different to eat. It's like an open face sub with everything falling everywhere. “Stopped for a quick breakfast. Food was decent, just the regular you'd expect for breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Potatoes a little greasy. Place is really bland. “Steak is always excellent here . 2023 April Update we went there a party of five the place was full. I bought my usual a sirloin steak mushrooms and the rest anyway all of our food was barley warm. I said something to the waitress that ask if I wanted it heated up I declined it was already dry and tough this is the second time in a row food was way under my standard the time before was in 2022. I used to look foward to going there . Today I made roast beef and it was so tender it melted in my mouth and the beef came from Walmart and it blew your steak out of the water 10x better and not dry tough or cold.Shame on you for charging premium money for 2nd rate food.I wanted to say something to the manager but my girlfreing did,t want me too. Even if we did get gift cards guess what someone still worked hard to pay for that gift card and I am asking for gift cards from somewhere else from now on. The word is out you don't care. Signed honest customer unbiased reveiw. Update this place always has new employees. But we just went there on 4/26/24 and everyhing was good. The steak fries were getting cold though. “Some people think of Denny's as a place you end up when you can't choose. I must say I'm glad I actually chose this Denny's. The dish I ordered was spicy as advertised and so packed with flavor it was amazing. It was a huge portion and I took some home. All three of us enjoyed our food. The wait staff were all courteous and efficient. The dining room appeared to be a bit understaffed but the two on duty were running like mad to keep everyone happy. (She got a good tip for the hustle I witnessed even though I waited a little for some things.) All in all surprisingly great food and good service. I really recommend this York location in particular.“

The staff is always friendly and flexible, the seating and ambiance is great, and the food is always excellent. I quite literally have nothing bad to say about it.
