“There is a big problem here... Every time I go, I keep getting the same thing because it is so good. Yes, everyone else gets other items and other flavors and and I get other food sometimes, but the ube brownie ice cream is the REASON I go.

Their sandwiches are fantastic, their customer service is just as good. And yes, dessert at any point of the day is an option. Don't be worried about the outside look, or the loud"ish" location.

“I have been a Dairy Queen fan for probably 40+ years of my life. Started out as an occasional treat for my husband and I when we were first married in Hagerstown, MD. Over the years we’ve moved around with his job, and we’ve ended up retiring here in Mechanicsburg. We’ve been going to the Simpson St. Dairy Queen for over 24 years and I have to tell you, the people who work there are like family to us, especially to me since I am usually the customer. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and a kind word, even when they are BUSY! I have three grown daughters who all live far away and I miss them, but the girls here are like daughters to me. Today, on the day before Mother’s Day, when I was feeling a little down because I couldn’t be with my own daughters, I was given a special treat that MADE MY DAY! “They are very good but the price is very expensive. I bought that box of 4 cookies and they were like $25 dollars. I chose one of Chocolate and chips, Waffle with syrup my favorite, chocolate with strawberries and Lemon. I thought I wouldn't like the lemon cookie but it was really delicious. They are quite big!“

“We have been going to this location since they opened up. It has gone downhill over the years with the employees. Never go through the drive thru it will take forever. Went the other night and it took 15 minutes to get 3 arctic swirls and a mix cup. The girl screwed up the order and gave me attitude when I said it should of been cookie dough not whatever she made. When she put in on the counter for my daughter to pick up it had a huge hole in the center of nothing. Not sure where the custard n cookie dough went. Plus her shorts were a little short that her “cheeks” were hanging out the back when filling up the machine. The only reason we keep coming back is because of the product not the customer service. Maybe management should spend some time at this location and get these kids trained to be able to multi task instead of doing 1 thing at a time. And less talking until the customer are serviced.“
