“First time ever there. We both got sundaes. The cookies and cream ice cream was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Plenty of cookies and the flavor was delicious. My wife got peanut butter sundae. It came with chocolate ice cream, peanut butter sauce and lots and lots of Reese peanut butter cups crumbles on it.“

“I have been a Dairy Queen fan for probably 40+ years of my life. Started out as an occasional treat for my husband and I when we were first married in Hagerstown, MD. Over the years we’ve moved around with his job, and we’ve ended up retiring here in Mechanicsburg. We’ve been going to the Simpson St. Dairy Queen for over 24 years and I have to tell you, the people who work there are like family to us, especially to me since I am usually the customer. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and a kind word, even when they are BUSY! I have three grown daughters who all live far away and I miss them, but the girls here are like daughters to me. Today, on the day before Mother’s Day, when I was feeling a little down because I couldn’t be with my own daughters, I was given a special treat that MADE MY DAY! In a world where we are struggling with a virus, and we read of so much suffering, it is a blessing to know that there are loving people who care for others that they only know from serving them! “My daughter and I LOVE crumble! We drive over an hr to get there every time we go, and depending on the flavors, it could be once a week every week...We have not had a single cookie we didn't like. My favorite is the key lime pie and the cheesecake cookies, but that's like top favorite. Like I said never had a yucky cookie. Plus the big ones you can cut into 4 pieces so they last a couple days, especially when you get a box of 6😁

“I’ve been enjoying the croquet chocolates for over 70 years. Yes, that’s not a typo. I remember those as a child when my aunt would gift use that candy. Then I discovered them in Indiana PA where the owner obtained the recipe. I was beyond ecstatic when I saw that Macris had them. The owner told me that her grandfather owned Philadelphia Candy Co. in Sharon PA.
My husband gave me two pre-bagged croquettes. The must have been bagged up weeks ago. I could hardly bite into them. My advice is to only buy the fresh made candy and not the pre-bagged. I will see if they will made it right.“

* Edited to add my 3rd visit which was this afternoon. I stopped while out running errands. I got a large milkshake which was pretty small. I got Dark Soul ice cream which was very tasty.

I’ve stopped here twice since they’ve opened up. There is no drive thru so you do have to go in.

On my first visit, I got an iced pumpkin latte with vanilla cold foam, caramel and cinnamon and a slice of pumpkin roll. Both were very good! The latte was probably one of the best Ive ever had.

Today on my second visit, I got a pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin roll. Again, both fresh and tasted very good.

The employees were both very friendly. I was greeted upon entering and thanked for my purchase which is good customer service.

I like how close it is to my residence. Its very convenient for me. I do wish there were drink sizes. Maybe it was just the drinks I ordered but there seemed to be only one size, and had me wishing for a bigger cup!“
