“Well, I have always liked the food including the tuna salad, Italian subs and the sub rolls... but... They need to seriously not cram hot food into bags with cold subs and they need to not put cold subs anywhere near the pizza over. Everything about our cold subs last week with lettuce, tomatoes and onion was warm, soggy and squishing out all over. It was a gross disaster. Guy only looked et me confused when I asked why my cold subs felt hot and why the hot fries were in the bag with the cold subs. I just sighed and left.“

“The store was amazing. First I called for delivery and they were courteous even telling me I was just outside the delivery area. They then asked me to hold and said they will go ahead and deliver today. The food arrived exactly as expected when expected with nothing missing and the driver was very courteous and respectful. This is the Truly and sadly first experience in years where I have experienced true customer service. Thank You!!!!!“

“We moved here from out of state and recommended initially to try their brunch. We took our three children there and it was fabulous. Drinks were amazing, service superb, and the food was outstanding. We decided to order delivery today via third party, and it was still just as amazing. Honestly have lived in many states and this by far is one of my favorite Pizza/Philly cheesesteak places. Highly recommend!“

“I am a local truck driver. As I finished my last delivery almost 2 hours from home. I google “subs near me”. This place popped up. Wasn’t too far out of my way. And I didn’t have a trailer so I went off to find this place. (Small shops are the best in my opinion), the Italian sub on a fresh baked roll was amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Definitely will be back“

“I chose this place for pizza because of the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. It was my first time here, and Nathan greeted me with a smile and a pleasant demeanor. He took my order for a pepperoni pizza. However, when my pizza was served, it did not have pepperoni on it as I thought I had ordered. The young lady who brought my food out (also very nice) clearly showed me that my receipt was for a cheese pizza. No big deal, as the pizza looked delicious and I was hungry. No more than 5 minutes went by when Nathan came to my table with a complimentary cannoli. He apologized for me not having a pepperoni pizza. Customer service above and beyond! The pizza was excellent. I will return.“

Kid-friendliness: We had 2 kiddos with us, abs they each got mini-mods the way they wanted them! Milk is a drink option- I do prefer that for the kids over the sodas and teas.“

“Visiting York from out of town. I had an inch to eat some Stromboli like one does in Pennsylvania. We were lucky enough Shakey Jakes was open until 11. My team and I visited and most of us ordered a Boli. We were told a small would feed one person. So I ordered a large. Holy Stromboli, this thing was huge. I only got through half but I brought it home so I can enjoy it for the next two days. It was so good I felt like it was sent from heaven above. This was EASILY the best food I have ever eaten in Pennsylvania. I can't recommend Shakey Jakes enough. Can't wait to go there again in 3 days when I finally finish my large Boli.“

Old guy making pizza coughed a lot and touched his face a lot. But I’ve eaten gas station tacos since I was a kid in the south, so whatever. Food fantastic tasting. Speed is a little slow, they seem poor at timing orders. My fries were 10 min + ahead of the pizza….. but again, taste great. Will eat again. Hopefully they look at the cleanliness from the customer POV. Place has major potential.“

“My only issue is I want a larger pizza. The one in Manchester is great. They actually cook the pepperoni ,the pizza isn't a sloppy mess like most other pizza shops in the area. Sorry but all I ever order from here is their pizza because I think it's the best. Hope this helped you.“

“I recently rated dominoes the company, as 1 star.

That is in large part due their app, which changes orders, this netting you food you didn't want.
For this location specifically, they do a great job.

The managers actually care about making things right, their drivers are always lighting fast, and I have no specific complaints about the location. So four stars for them.

“I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.“
