“If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is the place. We eat out often, but not at $60-$80 per entree. My husband would differ, but I found it was worth it. The Chilean sea bass was as great as everyone says it is. He had the rib eye ( a special). He said it was good, but had too much sauce on it. Next time, we'll save the steak for a real steak house. We went at 6:30, so we saw day and night views. Quite spectacular. I will say, that I would have appreciated if they would tell you the prices of the specials vs. having to ask. Service was top notch and liked the amuse bouche.“

“Been wanting to try the breakfast sandwiches since they opened and since moving to this side of town, thought today was a perfect excuse. I've seen people rave about this place and now i know why. Seeing as though we got there around 8 am, I'd recommend getting there early because I've been told it can be line out the door later on, but that's how you know it's good. I got the classic with bacon and my boyfriend got the breakfast smash. We also opted to split the Creme Brulee griddled French toast with lemon curd. Paired with an Arabica pour over coffee for him and Oblong tea for me, it was the perfect Easter breakfast. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly. That French toast though, wow! The perfect amount of sweetness and with the mild lemon curd, just chef's kiss. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Can't wait to come back.“

The attentiveness of the staff was particularly a highlight -- different dishes and utensils for each part of the meal showed an attentiveness to the experience. The food is inventive on simple themes, which we loved (but also felt like it didn't hit on some things).Overall, it was a great experience, but I think for what it was, the price is just a little too high (and thus the 4 stars instead of 5). “I got a standard breakfast and it was good. Served by owner Jojo who is supernice. Nice diner atmosphere. Looks like she’s been in business a long time. The only feedback I would give is to please please please do not wear perfume. To be clear, I should not smell my server in anyway at all. I shouldn’t smell their body odor, nor should I smell what is covering up their body odor. Nothing. Completely neutral. No smell at all. That means their body or their breath. Nothing.Please.“

Food: This was not only the best breakfast that I had in Pittsburgh but in most other places too. I had the pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. They make their sausage in house and I went with the spicy sausage though there were different options. I also had pepper jack cheese in the eggs. The pancakes were also quite large and were some of the best I have had in any restaurant. The coffee was also very good and the waitress also provided a to go cup for it as well. Service: The service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff. The owners were also there and interacting with the patrons. “After several years, still a 4. I started with a drink at the bar and then moved on to a table. It was around 5 on a Saturday and the place was dead except for a wedding party killing a half hour at the bar. Too early, I guess. The bar service was fine. The table service was too, though he perhaps came off as a little less than genuine. In any case, I didn't really want for anything. My burger and fries were very good and I enjoyed the wine. The burrata app was weird (they minced up the burrata?), but it tasted good. Perhaps they didn't want to serve the whole ball? My main gripe was that menu presented was different from the one found on their website. This was due to a recent seasonable update, but come on folks-it's just a quick upload. I was originally disappointed that the burger that I'd come there for was not on the new menu. When we asked, though, he explained (in a sort of annoyed, ugh-I-have-to-explain-the-burger-thing-again tone) that the burger was just too popular. While they still serve it, it's not on the menu "to give customers a chance to notice the rest of the [more expensive] menu offerings". Mind you, this is a $27 burger and fries we are talking about here - not a super-cheap dish that's bringing in the riff-raff. They apparently plan to rebrand the burger as a secret menu item or something. Maybe it's me, but if your burger is outshining the rest of the menu to the point where you actively try to sell less of it, perhaps the rest of the menu is actually the issue. I, for one, rarely order a burger and love more fine dining food, but nothing else on this menu really stood out to me.“

I suggest coming here during (Happy Hour) as the food and drinks are very pricey, but understandable as the quality of the food was worth it. The house made tortillas were warm and delicious. The food was really good and seemed to be fairly priced for the area, although I still feel the area is overpriced in general. The process of getting into the venue was easy and organized. The space was a beautifully quaint and well-used venue. The crowd for a sellout was the perfect size and it was not overcrowded. The acoustics of the venue were very excellent and the price of tickets was phenomenal. Here's what we tried: Root to Berry: - A non-alcoholic seltzer flavored with strawberry, lime, & ginger - I didn't like the ginger flavor in it, it made it too spicy DreamLife: - Another non-alcoholic seltzer flavored with vanilla, lemon, orange, & orange blossom water - The orange & vanilla combo was yummy - I liked this one a lot more than the Root to Berry - Wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed Roasted Bone Marrow: - Interestingly topped with caper-raisin relish, celery, & marcona almonds, but surprisingly so good - Paired with sourdough - Toppings were soo yummy especially the raisins that added a sweet twist to it Filet Mignon: - I ordered this medium rare, and oh my god it was SOOO tender it literally melted in my mouth - The only reason I didn't enjoy this dish as much is because the filet mignon was topped with blue cheese which I don't like -- I should have gotten it without blue cheese - The roasted potatoes that it came with was the perfect softness & paired well with the cognac sauce, but it was a bit too bland Steak Frites: - Like the Filet Mignon, I ordered the NY strip medium rare and it was so tender, so juicy, so yummy & literally melted in my mouth - Loved the buttery, garlic sauce that topped this steak. It paired SO well together - Normally comes with rosemary fries, but my boyfriend loves truffle fries so we asked for a substitution & they were so generous to make that accommodation that for us! - The truffle flavor was so rich, but I thought the fries were just slightly overcooked. It was really crispy, and I wish it had been a little softer, but overall were still great To top off our meal, we ended with the lemon & blueberry creme brulee which was also so mind blowing yummy. The custard was so rich, and I loved the layer or caramelized sugar on top. I also really liked the unique lemon flavor that made it taste extra special. The service here was fantastic. They were so polite, accommodating, and well-mannered. They changed all our utensils after every course. I would highly recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion!“

The staff were super friendly and quick to take our order. Two women were both bartending and serving the tables, but we never had dirty dishes or empty glasses for long. The pepperoni rolls were our favorite. We also had a 16" pizza with extra cheese and half sausage & bacon. The pizza was ok! I'd say 7.5/10. The sauce had great flavor. My brother had the special chicken sandwich, parmesan style. He said the flavors were great, but he wasn't a huge fan of the bread. It wasn't toasted and after a few bites, it was totally soggy. There are two 1-person bathrooms and they were both clean, smelled like strawberries (lol), and were stocked with soap and paper towels.“
