“Ok so I’ve been twice the first time I went I wasn’t too sure if I liked the double smash burger so I went back and I can say I now know why! This time I got the double heat smash burger. The smash patty itself was very bland, no seasoning not even salt and pepper, the house sauce which goes on the burger isn’t spread nor sweet enough you can hardly taste the relish, and the heat sauce was mid it literally had no flavor just spice. The fries and the milkshake are pretty good tho as well as the customer service!“

“Though there was a mixup at first with our delivery driver, (my apologies for not updating the delivery instructions), the burgers were just as good as I remembered. As I told my husband last night, the burgers taste how Burger King wants to be. Flame grilled, flavorful, and always a double. I didn’t see an option to add cheese and bacon to my fries like there used to be but the fries were delicious regardless. My husband and I trailed off from getting delivery from this restaurant since the pandemic ended but perhaps after our dinner last night we’ll pick things back up. I miss my lava burger but the jalapeño burger was a nice substitute. Husband got the south Philly. Also, wasn’t there an option to switch your patty choice from beef to turkey? I digress. Still a five star meal. Might use DoorDash next time instead of Slice to avoid delivery confusion.“

“You can always count on great grub from Del Rossi’s. The pizza is great but the cheesesteaks are my favorite. On my last visit I went with my usual…regular steak with grilled onions. The meat to cheese to bread ratio is exactly right at this place. Delicious and high quality. Best steak in the city in my opinion.“

“I've done a bunch of deliveries from here but haven't eaten anything from them. They always have the pick up ready to go without much waiting around which is always good. The people who work here are definitely sweet and helpful. I dropped a milkshake one time and they remade it for me no problem.. Thanks for that.“

“Huge fan, I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Johnny Hot’s, until today 8/30/24. I was supposed to have just pork roll on a steak roll with spicy mustard, no egg and no cheese. The pork roll is usually cut very thin with a nice braise on it. It had egg & cheese on it. The egg & cheese were warm the meat was cool, no grill color to it. By the time I took the egg & cheese off there was hardly any pork roll, very disappointed. It was “no change” Friday, so I gave my apprentice 15 dollars for a sandwich I couldn’t even eat.“

“After reading about the real estate and trademark dispute in the law journal recently I decided to drive to Philly and visit the original Jim’s Steak West from 1939 that predates Jim’s South Street. Cool back story and legal wrangling to resuscitate this business. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the business started to fill up as Church let out with everybody in their Sunday best. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, Kosher Hoagie and Banana pudding which was all delicious.“

“It was a early afternoon lunch for my wife and I as we had business in the area and we decided on Wilson's and what a surprise right from the start the location was great the inside decor was exceptionally really nice clean and fitting for a barbecue restaurant the atmosphere and service was great as well a big shout out and thanks to Kelly our server who was more than gracious in making sure we were taking care of as for the food I hand the brisket cheese steak I highly recomened trying its a winner ! My wife had the brisket tacos she loved them both were coupled with the secret barbecue sauce which is a standout we had two orders of wings and fried pickles for our appetizers both had great flavor and were well made some of the best that I've had any were .. “I really like the vibe in this place. I was very surprised to walk in and see mostly folks in there. I did find it odd that they had security, but i have only been here once so I don't know how wild it gets. They had karaoke going on which drew in a large crowd. Would go again to try out the food“
