When I toured the venue, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, and he is truly one of the kindest, most professional, and well-spoken business owners I’ve ever worked with. Brenda was also amazing—she helped set up the night before, listened to every detail of my vision, and executed it beautifully. They absolutely nailed every aspect of my bridal shower. There wasn’t a single request they couldn’t accommodate, and the food was absolutely incredible. The event staff was on top of everything the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Justin and his team went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations in every way. I will definitely be back for future events and highly recommend Just in Thyme to anyone looking for an exceptional venue and catering experience!“

“Finally getting to writing reviews for the best few vendors from my August 2019 wedding. I am a little hesitant to post this since their Facebook page seems to have gone silent and reviews on other platforms indicate that management and menus may have changed in the last 6 months. But I was so pleased with my experience that it only seems fair to give credit where credit is due…. If you are looking for a rehearsal dinner location in Cranberry and have 30 guests or less, I highly recommend the private room at Ember and Vine in the lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry. We researched every restaurant in the area and Ember and Vine at DoubleTree delivered a perfect solution. Their facilities are beautiful and modern, and the staff was so nice and accommodating. Although they can do traditional seated banquet-style meals, we wanted something distinctly different from our wedding dinner the following day. We chose to order off their regular restaurant menu and have them cordon off a portion of the lobby area next to the private room, where a buffet was placed with different flavors of wings, woodfired pizzas, salad, and their oh-so-yummy crispy brussels sprouts. Not only were they flexible with the setup and menu (accommodating multiple food allergies), they also provided the option to have a limited bar within the private room or have our guests use the full bar in the lobby. Having the private room but also the cordoned off lobby area gave us extra area to mingle and a great balance between private space and the fun energy and ambiance from the restaurant and bar. Our guests loved the food and had loads of fun! Other factors that made Ember and Vine a clear winner for us were: - They had a very low minimum spend. Other locations with private dining had a ridiculous minimum spend that would be difficult to meet with a 20-30 person guest list. - The large parking lot. We looked at other options closer to our venue and parking was limited. - Flexibility with timing. We gave them a general time frame for arrival, but not knowing how long the rehearsal would take, they told us just to call them when we were 20 minutes out. Thanks DoubleTree and Ember and Vine for a classy venue and excellent food that let my husband and me and our closest friends and family relax and have a great time before our big day!!“

“We visited Cornerstone for Brunch. I had an omelette with leeks and asparagus and a white sangria. The food and drinks are really good here. Expertly crafted with great nuances of flavor.
Cornerstone is a bit overpriced for portion size but not extremely.
The service here is lacking for me. There is just a snobbish aura from the staff who only seem particularly interested in their regular, repeat customers. New customers seem to be treated with covert flippancy. Therefore, I probably won't be back unfortunately.“

“We have lived up the street for 7 years and have always been hesitant to order from here. We finally decided to order the wings to go, and they were so good! The price is amazing for the quantity, whole wings served in a catering size tray. The sauces (BBQ and ranch) weren't the best but we will definitely be ordering again!“

“I've been ordering from Big Shot Bob's in Avalon for over ten years. They're the best in the Burgh. They opened on New Year's Day to provide fresh delicious wings. Pre-ordering wings for New Year's Day was a breeze and the service is very friendly. I was able to call and make a change to a pick up order with ease.

My all time favorite all Old Bay Wet. What's pictured, Black and Gold, Garlic Ranch Wet and Big Shot Bob's Signature.

They pay their rent in one night in tips and still get unfriendly. Id recommend training for stressful environments for the staff. Other than that its good.“

“I ordered the Salad Bar for lunch at the Shaler Township Eat'n Park on July 29. The Salad Bar was clean, fresh and well-stocked, as were the soups, and everything tasted great! My server was Linda and she was very friendly and attentive, checking in with me every so often to see if I needed a refill on my iced tea or anything else. She made me feel so welcomed! “I wanted to take time to recognize Lulu and Anayiah. On July 4th, we (a party of 4) visited the restaurant during the dinner hour. The front of the restaurant was packed. We were seated quickly. We found out that 4 servers called off that day. Lulu and Anayiah were THE BEST in keeping the flow perfect. When a table finished, Anayiah stepped up and cleared the table, wiped everything down, and sat other guests. She then took their drink orders and served them the drinks. Whoever hired these two should also be commended. As we sat and watched, we were very impressed. Lulu never missed an order and kept smiling. Our food was perfect. The kitchen staff should be commended too. They were able to keep up too. EAT N PARK SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF THIS BRANCH. THE SUPERVISORS AND STAFF WILLING TO WORK ON THAT BUSY DAY WERE PHENOMENAL. The only disappointment was the servers that called off and left only one server. We visit there often and will request Lulu. She will definitely give us her undivided attention and we will definitely appreciate her. And we want to thank Leslie and Karen for keeping up with everything. Thank you, Eat N Park.“
