“As soon as we got out from the parking lot, we could smell the barbecue. What makes this place special is that they use charcoal instead of gas. The waiter cooks the meat for you. The cooked meat was put on the side so that it wasn't overcooked. I picked beef tongue. Very short cook time because they were thinly sliced. I dipped them in the sauce that came with the order. Rich in umami flavor. The marinated beef and pork was well seasoned and not overly saturated salty soy sauce. They provide several side dishes but the portion was very small. The lettuce was fresh and big, perfect to wrap the meat. I ordered hot Korean tea. Unfortunately, they served the piping hot tea in a plastic jar. High risk of chemical leeching. It's not a BYOB , you can buy beer there“
“Momoyama is a casual and cute little restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. I had the short ribs combo. Ramen broth was savory. Noodles were perfect and the charsui (pork) was fall apart tender. The short ribs were very tender and the marinade was light, not overpowering. My husband had the BBQ Mix with short ribs and chicken. The chicken was unbelievably tender and the short ribs (like mine) were also very tender. We shared the pork bao bun appetizer and absolutely loved them. The bao dough was pillowy soft and the pork very tender. We'll definitely be back to try more menu items.“
“I. Love. This. Place! We normally get the hotpot option (my fav is the healthy herbs) I love the conveyor belt system they have for the veggies, and it's sooo nice ti be able to go up and pick what you want and how much you want from the buffet style they have their ingredients as. This definitely is a great place to go to with friends/family, just remember that it's a 2 hour dining limit (which is standard with hotpot places) and there will be a surcharge for any uneaten food. Which is why i like that you control how much you get c:“
“An amazing up scale Korean BBQ. The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared at our table. The chef and staff were friendly and very accommodating. There were 7 of us and we were celebrating a family birthday. We all had a good time and a great experiences. The atmosphere was original and stylish. The prices were higher end but well worth it.“
“Soooo yummy and fresh. Second time we've ordered cheesesteaks. Turkey and cheese and Italian hoagies. They definitely don't skimp out on anything and you can taste the quality. I will say though .......cheesesteak is a 9.5. Seeded roll would make it a 10!“
“Had the pulled pork sandwich and queso Mac, both were incredible! The pork was tender, had great flavor and the sauce was awesome, not overly sweet. The mac had a little spice which I loved and both of the guys working were friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great bbq in “
“Oh my oh my, such a great culinary experience last night. We love Asian food, and were in the mood for some Korean this time. I didn't want Korean BBQ so that limited some of our options. We got there around 7:45pm and it was still a 20 min wait. No reservations , so first come first served. Ambiance : Nice, cozy, casual setting and the restaurant was adequately staffed - I only say that because I've been to places over the last 2 years where places have been severely understaffed. ++ Appetizers : Fried potstickers. Perfect. Good blend of veggies and the right level of crispiness. A slow dunk or bath in the soy sauce made for a great beginning to our meal. Mains++ now the fun stuff begins La Galbi - this was the marinated beef ribs in the house sauce. It came on a sizzling plate. The spices and taste was subtle. The pieces were chopped finely and was an easy going first bite of the entrees. Jeyuk Dubu Kimchi - Marinated pork loin and kimchi, stir fried with hot pepper and dobu. By the time this dish came, we realized that we were starting to get filled and we had ordered too much. My wife claims that it was intentional and she wanted to box them and eat during the week. This dish was how you'd expect it to be. The pork and the kimchi was a perfect blend. The dobu was so tender and soft, probably will make me rethink my dislike for tofu. We asked for super spicy. Jeyuk Dolpan Bibimbap - Probably the best dish we ordered. Stir fried spicy pork over vegetables served with rice on a pot. If rice did not contain so many carbs, I'd have loved to eat this dish more frequently. With that being said, I loved the way our server prepped this for us. She mixed the pork, veggies and the rice to deliver a well balanced blend of the final dish. The rice was moist, the pork was juicy and well marinated delivering a totally sublime dish. Oh, and the pre-apprtizers (kimchi, fish, egg, salad, and some meat) was also delicious. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone who likes a good Korean meal.“
“We finally made it to Burrito Mix for a little lunch date. It was unbelievable! Brian got the Carne Asada lunch special and I got the steak tacos on flour tortillas. They were so good, but I had to give one taco to Brian. They were stuffed with deliciousness! The server was sweet and the food came out fast! They have music playing, fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back…A LOT!Love to see local businesses making it in these crazy times. Support them!“
“My friends and I had heard good things about this place, so we thought we'd check out. Went about a week ago and loved it. It's an interesting setup where they have Memphis style BBQ as their main menu, while they have 2-3 other kitchens rotate in and out every "season" (like, every 3-4 months). We stuck to the BBQ and just got a few items to share. The brisket & BBQ chicken were fire, best I've had in Philly! For sides, we devoured the cornbread, waffle fries and mac & cheese, which were also super tasty. Our server, I think his name was Jack, was the best. First off, just gotta say that the dude kinda looks like a rockstar, lol! Great hair! Anyway, his suggestions were spot on, and he even gave us some good recommendations for other bars to check out. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!“
“Excellent bbq restaurant. Husband had ribs, he loved them. I had a pulled pork sandwich, I think the pork needs to be less bulky. Oh and everything tastes like vinegar, I personally think it's a bit too much. Sides are great, had mac and cheese and baked beans. I can't give 5 stars because of the overbearing taste of vinegar.“
“The ribs were good and the brisket was better. The chicken was a bit dry. I called the day before and the day of to ensure I would have enough ribs for my order. Unfortunately, the ribs I asked to be set aside a portion of them was sold. But he did give me a chicken.“
“The food was excellent & so was our waitress! Shaylin, you were absolutely wonderful! I've been going to another Longhorn Steakhouse, but after going to this one, I probably won't go to the other one anymore. Location really makes a difference. Thanks again Shaylin for your great service!“
“Me and my man had an early dinner at this place. I was blown away with the barbecue greens mashed potatoes and cornbread and a glass of rum and cook. My man had the brisket and a orange soda and the food was so so delicious. Place is very clean had a very romantic setting with the music and the dim lights. We're looking to have another date night very soon to enjoy more of the same foods I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great barbecue out of the pit.Valerie j from Philly“
“After many years my friend finally got me to go with her to Rib Crib. For the tons of B-wings I have devoted my whole life I could have been enjoying these sooo much more. Great food selection, great prices and great staff. Spent look like much on the outside but treat yourself. It’ll be your new go-to eatery.“
“Visited Philly on vacation and so happy we came to eat here. The food was so fresh healthy and delicious. The place was very clean with fast service. Even so accommodating to my gluten allergy was able to order almost annything even dessert! Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Gave my daughter coloring while we waited for her food and made sure it came out fast for her. With lots of kids options!“
“Delicious as always. My baby’s favorite spot our favorites are the kalbi, skirt, and hangar steaks ? the drinks are pretty good too! Staff is very professional, polite, hospitable, and friendly as well. 10/10Kid-friendliness: This is my seven year olds favorite restaurant“
“Nice BBQ spot in the cut. It is a spot for to-go. When I opened the door the cook what there to greet me. I ordered BBQ Brisket Sandwich w/ Pork & Beans and Mac & Cheese. Cornbread came with it. The BBQ sauce was nice and sweet and savory. Good taste. I'll say I've taste that sauce before for sure. Brisket was a delicious and well seasoned. Mac & Cheese was okay. It should use different cheese and seasonings but I still ate it. Pork & Beans was my favoriteeee - nice sweet & smokey sauce for the pork and beans. Cornbread was not that good. Service was great! I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu. Nice location.“
“stunned at how much I liked this place. driving through town and needed a bite to eat, I didn't think barbeque in Pennsylvania would be that good.I was pleasantly surprised. the brisket was really tender, the ribs are flavorful, the service was really friendly!“
“My Husband and I went there the Customer Service was Great they were very professional and nice. The Food is omg sooooo good we had the honey lemon pepper wings, loaded mussels , veggie platter and snow crab cluster platter. Everything was nice and hot, seasoned to perfection. We was so satisfied y’all have Customers forever.Very Nice Place go there I guarantee you will not be Dissatisfied.“
“Great local K BBQ spot. Not fancy but family run. Our young serve Jack was great and had good recommendations. The LA short ribs were perfect and not too sweet. The fried rice was good, especially with the addition of some kimchi. Would like to go back and try other items on the menu. Clientele on a weekday evening were all Korean which is a good sign.“
“The first but definitely not the last time. My family of five ordered a pretty wide variety of items and each one was delish, fresh, packed with flavor. I had the veg pizza, spectacular! Service was spot on, friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend enough!“
“The best place for duck. I have out of state family who will always ask to eat here everytime they’re in town. My go-to dishes are: Peking duck, Sangkee seafood fried rice, beef chow fun, clams in black bean sauce. Food is always great and comes out fast. Waiters could be a little more friendlier.“
“this place is awesome, i enjoyed it a lot id definitely go here again, even though i dont think i did well with cooking the food, but I can't really blame the restaurant for that, because I'm just generally not a very good cook. everything they did to actually help prepare me for cooking the meal was done well.i especially appreciate the fact that i was able to get a fork when asked. i have dexterity issues due to dyspraxia so i tend to do poorly with chopsticks, and im glad i was given a fork when asked without anyone being condescending to me (something that has happened in the past before), so that makes this a great experience in my book! All in all I'd definitely recommend“
“The food was incredible, as always, but I felt compelled to write this review because of the latest visit.Although they ran out of cole slaw for my NC Style pulled pork sandwich, when I went up to get another after it was finished they gave us the new one for free, and to top it off they offered my wife and I two cards for free sandwiches for the next time we come. The server/assistant who got us our drinks, forks, spoons, sauces etc named Jennifer was incredibly hospitable, and as I wrote this a younger woman and Jennifer went around to all the tables offering everyone free samples of the sweet potatoe with honey cinnamon butter in small sauce cups.Wonderful experience! This was a breath of fresh air and like a hug for my wife and I as this was the first day she ended up using her cane for her genetic illness, and although we went out preaching in the morning (as Jehovah's Witnesses) she was feeling self conscious about the cane all morning.Us coming here felt like a blessing!Keep up the great work!“
“I love Wilson's because they are one of very few places in the suburbs who make an Impossible cheesesteak. It's always packed so I'm sure the real ones must be good as well. The apps and sides are also very good - clearly homemade.Vegetarian options: I go out of my way for their vegetarian options.“
“This place deserves soo much more recognition. Everything was great There beef and pork ribs was EVERYTHING, And they're not stingy my husband and I had enough to enjoy the next day. We will be going back again. Wait I almost forgot to mention the YUMMY sweet potatoes YEZZZA Y'ALL NAILED IT!!!!“
“My husband went and picked the food up so I can’t talk about the look but the food was everything the reviews said I got beef ribs Mac and seasoned yellow rice and my husband got brisket greens and yellow rice that bbq sauce was everything we both had mild sauce the ribs were meaty and not just a bunch of fat my husband said the brisket was delicious his only complaint was that the greens had a overpowering vinegar taste so much so he couldn’t enjoy them so he didn’t eat them but everything else was on point and delicious we paid $59 for the 2 platters but it was ribs and brisket so that was a fair price to me service was great from the phone ordering process to pick up this was my first time and I’ll definitely be back“
“Order was perfect every body knows about it now so this was my first time waiting 25min for my food. I respect it my order was still right good and hot!Parking: I park right across the street and was on the lookout for PPA i was good while i waited for the 25min“
“The closest I can get to Korea in Philly!!! After living in KR for a year, I am always on the hunt for real Korean food that hits like back home and this is it. We got the stir fried pork and kimchi (김치제육볶음) and the hot stone bibimbap (돌솥비빔밥) and they were incredible. The kimchi and pork were so tender and flavorful. The owner is so sweet, she served us, chatted with us in Korean, and gave us extra hot sauce for the bibimbap!! Of all the Korean places I’ve been to in the US, this may be my number one. Cannot wait to come back!“
“I've been here twice, Once when quiet and another time during loud psychedelic pop rock music. The good service and food is consistent. I like the slight touch of tiki and the patio. I think I'll go here with my dog when the weather is warm. Both times I left feeling good and it's probably not just the good drinks. The Tin Can is a welcoming dive and an asset to Port Richmond.“
“Christmas Day Dinner at So Korean Grill Restaurant.Absolutely pleasant surprise! Amazing food quality and portions!! Not to mention that their service was phenomenal!!!There were 7 of us(6 Adults and a child) entered at around 4pm and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time but soon after, all tables were filled w/customers. Lucky us! We ordered 6 portions of Pork Galbi and Naengmyun(cold noodle), a few minutes later Pork Galbi w/side dish sets hit the table and all of us were just...'WOW'....the portion and taste were way beyond our expectations. Throughout the dinner, a young male server and a lady(maybe the owner..)kept us feel super comfortable and served all the extra items promptly. We will definitely go back and try other Korean BBQ soon.“
“We have always had a great experience at this Longhorn. Until tonight. We went in for a steak dinner, and the Jenkintown Longhorn is a place we go often. Until tonight. We ordered our steaks and sides, but my medium steak order came out well done shoe leather. The waitress took the steak back, and by the time my correctly cooked steak was brought out, my family had finished eating. I asked for a box to take my steak home. The bill included my error steak. We spoke to a manager, and he said he would be right back. Another manager, Andrew Richman, came out and asked what the problem was. I told him we should not be charged for a bad steak, and he took my good, boxed up steak and walked away. Andrew was rude and did not care about long-time, frequent customers. Now, former customers. I recommend you go elsewhere for steak. Stay away from Andrew Richmans Jenkintown location.“
“Great ambience and fantastic service. We got andouille sausage corn dog, black bean egg roll, chicken empanadas, mushrooms and polenta fries over corn puree, and a chicken cutlet sandwich and I would recommend everything. Super fun tasty bar food.“
“We used Babalouie for my husband’s birthday party at our home. It arrived on time, delivered in some very secure and professional travel crates. Everything was made fresh and as ordered. I don’t think there was one person who didn’t ask where I got the food. It was amazing! People were so impressed with the food as were me and my husband. We’ll be calling on them again next time we need catering. I can’t say enough about how perfect everything was. And there was a lot of food, more than I expected. They went above and beyond my expectations.“
“Super! My husband and I really liked it. We ate our fill of delicious meat, and even took some home. And it was wonderful. For $94, we as a family took 2 steaks + 2 vegetable dishes for each, and 2 more children's portions for children and 4 drinks.I recommend it to all meat lovers! We are definitely going here again. They only say that you should call to ask for a free table, because sometimes it is full.“
“Don't just a book by it's cover, it looks like the food is going to be just good enough to eat but in fact it was amazing, on a scale of 1-10'we give it a 11 , I got the chicken kabob and my wide got the shrimp quesadilla, everything was so fresh and clean HIGLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE“
“Recently had dinner here and can’t wait to come back!! They had so many options, which we tried a lot of them, and they were all really good! The staff was extremely nice! Our waiter took time to explain to us the marinates and also how to eat it! Definitely will be coming back!!“
“We went to eat here the evening of 1/21/24 and the service was spectacular. Even if the workers were chatting amongst each other they were still aware of the customers needs and extra polite. It makes you appreciate places like this because nowadays it’s hard to find excellent service. 10/10“
“The food is amazing however the menu and front end layout need help. We don't need to list the options on entrees when it's the same options. Increase the size of the text on entrees and more so on popular ones, maybe list popular options first. I think improving the menu would end the confusion of the front door. The food was top notch but you really need to study the menu. The front door might be a challenge for a wheel chair, not impossible but it's a bit tight“
“Food is good but the guy who answers the phone is rude. Maybe get someone to specifically answer the phones who's pleasant. I ordered Uber eats and wanted to change something on my order but the app doesn't give you the option so I called as soon as I placed the order. The guy had me on hold for 5 mins and when he finally got back I told him what I wanted to change he proceeded to tell me I called too late but I didn't you had me on hold as soon as I called! He changed it but his attitude wasn't good. Get someone nicer to answer the phones.“
“Low key place with tasty meats. Specials change weekly but they always have a good roast pork sandwich on a Kaiser roll. Outdoor eating on a few portable tables. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I've always had a good experience when I visit. They close up outdoor service for the winter but I hear they cater.“
