“This review is mainly based on the food because it was a takeout order. From what I could see while waiting for my order the staff and atmosphere were also outstanding. To the food, overall it was very, very good. We had 5 dishes, the empanadas, the green goddess potato salad, the ricotta toast and the risotto. Everything was fresh and well thought out, something lacking in chain restaurants. The empanadas were just right with a beefy brisket filling and a consume you could drink it was so flavorful. The ricotta toast is perfect for a warm summer night and large enough for a entree. The risotto was spot on, creamy with plump seafood. This is my goto restaurant when in the Harrisburg area for dinner and I will be back again.“

“If you're looking for the best ice cream in town, 3B Ice Cream is the place to go! My absolute favorite combination is Coffee and Black Cherry, and it's hands down the best I've ever had. The rich, smooth coffee flavor is perfectly balanced with the sweet, slightly tart taste of the black cherry. It's such a unique and delicious pairing that keeps me coming back for more.

“We were excited to visit this highly rated Coffee Shop for the first time. When we arrived from out of town we were unable to find accessible parking. There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. The place looks so unique & cool, so I’ll definitely return to scope it out on my own to see if I can come back with my physically disabled guests.“

“What a great find during a recent weekend in Harrisburg. Our server, Maria, was outstanding - knowledgeable, very friendly, and fun. Other staff members were also very accommodating and gracious. I particularly enjoyed the whipped ricotta app and arugula and beet salad. Highly recommend!“

“I first learned about the Soup Guy during the pandemic. I didn't order from him until this summer. From my very first order this year, I wish I had been supporting him since I first learned of him 3 years ago! Great food, great portions, good selections, very reasonably priced! My favorite is his Creamy Chicken and Wild rice soup. He outdid the "P"' chain's soup of that flavor! Give the Soup Guy a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all!“

“Chef Qui Musarra is one of the finest chefs in central PA. There isn't a dish I wouldn't recommend, but if I had to give recognition to one dish I would tell you that "Il Toscano" (the Tuscan Rib-eye) should be on your must have list. When available, the Chuleta and Percebes are also on that list. Mangia!“

I ordered the Cajun Penna Pasta and my fiancé ordered the Southern Catfish. If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC southern comfort food, this is the place to go. The kitchen staff knows their stuff, and it shows through the quality of the food. I love that I can now get a little taste of Louisiana without having to hop on an airplane. “Best LGBT bar in Harrisburg, actually best in the region! Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Not too fancy, very clean and certainly not dingy. The staff and regular patrons are easy to get along with and you feel comfortable whether it’s your first time there or the 100th you stop by. It’s a place where everyone fits in regardless of age, body type, color, no matter if you’re gay, lesbian, trans, straight etc. Even on the busiest days and nights you won’t have any trouble getting served quickly. Nick, Alyssa and Kimmy are top-notch bartenders! No matter how busy they are the drinks are served up quickly! I’ve never waited for a drink even during the busiest times. They have all types of events scheduled for the weekends and they have a monthly cocktail menu with a plethora of delicious drinks to choose from. One visit and you will see why it’s the one bar that’s consistently busy and why the other ones are failing.“

“Longhorn has long been in our top 2 of chain restaurants and the one in Harrisburg PA did not disappoint. Great steak and salmon. And always good salads. Our server made sure we had our salads well before our main course was served. Highly recommend.“

“Love it, for the most part the food is good, however, sometimes the quality of the meat varies. Not fond of the industrial atmosphere. Do they do that so people don't want to stick around too long and then there's room for more people to keep coming in. That's why I almost always do take out at these restaurants. You do get a lot of food for your money and it is healthier than most fast food restaurants. The guacamole is always very delicious.“
