“This is a regular meeting place with friends. Its location and the availability of parking are important. However, it is the food, ambiance and service that keep us coming back. The dining areas are comfortable and perfect for conversation among friends. The staff is always very helpful in assisting us in making choices. They provide helpful information and are solicitous, yet non-intrusive. The menu is varied and interesting. The staff provides helpful information as we make our choices and they check on us appropriately. I have nothing but good things to say about White Dog!“

“I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

“We celebrated our anniversary here and it was by far the best anniversary dinner. the staff was so nice and professional. the staff also went above and beyond with setting up the table(rose petals, a card, and heart confetti) and giving us goodies like champagne, a long stem rose, and even took our picture and printed it out for memories! I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The crust was square deep dish chicago style, very good sauce. tons of cheese didn’t really taste the kale nevertheless, spot on! little on the expensive side.
Thai cauliflower wings , perfectly done, tender on the inside crispy tempura batter on the outside very good sauce
Spicy crab fries need work no crab flavor, kale was there but lacking flavor, plenty of cheese on fries, cheese was cold and the fries were little bit dry and cold.
The Fries are overpriced, thicker cut fries would be better.
The blueberry lemonade and a cucumber, mint lemonade a perfect combo with the pizza
This is a very nice place for takeout. The decor is right on with the whole mission. I read a chapter of the book while I was there Muhammad is inspiring.
I think it’s admirable the way they give back to the community. Hope that they will get some sit down seating in the future currently it has barstool and counter seating, would love to see some outdoor seating. Overall a nice experience, reason for four star atmosphere was a little bit loud hard to talk to my friend.
And as far as the food goes a little bit pricey overall, that’s just a personal opinion if it works for them that’s all that matters definitely will be back.“
