“Here for breakfast at 9am on a Friday. I’m an out of towner and this is one of the best McDonald’s I have ever been too. My English muffin bun was soft and toasted, sausage and cheese was warm. Hash brown was hot and the atmosphere was happy and good vibes! Dining room is clean and customers are happy around me.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.“

“On my walk to get my favorite little donuts I get every time I’m home in PGH, I saw this little coffee shop. My husband’s flight kept getting delayed so I decided to stop in here after I got my donuts. I thought I would grab and go but decided to take a seat to kill some time. My drink was so good, and I loved the vibe of this place. They had a little dance party while I was there. I wanted to take a video but thought it might be weird. We ordered some toast and Sarah chatted with us while we sat and ate. She told us about the record and comic shop in the building and we were able to shop around! “Hands down the best coffee beans I've ever had. Awesome staff, very friendly people, they make my day whenever I visit. Cacao is also uniquely amazing. They offer traditional Colombian flavors (like that panela syrup), delicious arepas and empanadas, as well as tasty pastries. I love this place. Haven't had anything like it, makes me want to visit Colombia to explore the flavors. I'm going to miss it when I leave.“

“Our first time at the cafe. Loved the atmosphere and the wall graffiti depicting famous people from scientists, to musicians to artists. I read a previous review saying the art on the wall was AI generated, must have been before the wall graffiti was done. We were a party of 3 and each ordered a different menu item. There is something for everyone. The bread for the sandwiches and the bread accompanying the egg dishes is sourdough bread. The salad portions with the egg dish was very generous. The fruit with the French toast bread was mostly berries and generous portion. This is not something you see in other breakfast places where fruit portions are small and mostly banana. Waitresses were frindly and accomodating. We all loved it and will be coming again.“

But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! “Really cool and sustainable repurposing of an old Moose Lodge. Caught a meeting where the mission was being explained to another group, and it was awesome to hear about the concept. Egg sandwich is incredible, reminded me of the quality of food I experienced living abroad and brought back many happy memories, but at an affordable price- $12 for a large decaf, build your own egg sandwich with double the eggs and a bit of fresh fruit on the side. Was awesome to sit and feel like a person on the two days I visited and the staff was incredibly talented in addition to wonderful energy. Everyone who worked here loved their job and it showed! (To clarify that's exactly what I mean by the quality of food experienced abroad- happy food made by happy people.) Also a really cool co-working space.“

“Here in Pittsburgh for the weekend from Atlanta, Fet Fisk was high on the itinerary. They knocked it out of the park! Everyone was dressed for Halloween. Riley was our server and he was a gem. Attentive without being overbearing. The drinks were lovely. The pate was delicious to start, as was the caviar. The chantrelle mushrooms with the lignonberries? So savory and incredible. Now the standouts.. the rainbow trout and spaetzle. UH-MAZING! The espresso gin and tonic? Killer.

“I feel so lucky to live just down the street from this coffee shop! My go-to order is a small mocha, and the 8oz is always perfectly balanced between slightly sweet chocolate and strong espresso. The staff are so friendly, and I love popping in when I need an afternoon pick me up when working from home or I want a drink to sip as I window shop on Potomac.“

“Great cafe with lovely food and drinks! The coziness of the interior makes it a great spot to relax, study/work, and hang out! Plus, the pastries all look amazing, especially the pies, but I’d also recommend the breakfast sandwich, which was one of the best ones I’ve had in awhile! The egg is super fluffy and the cheese they use went so perfectly, every bite was addicting.

Definitely will be coming back to try some of their pastries, and a crowd favorite especially for students, love it!“

The spinach feta egg wrap tasted like the veggies/cheese were fresh out the farm & the peanut butter chocolate cupcake was delicious as well! I wish I was closer but will for sure be stopping by anytime I get my vehicle serviced!“

“Love this little hidden gem, The staff is so friendly and a lot of fun- our barista sort of messed up my drink (literally not the biggest deal in the world, she was busy) but we were all joking about it with a couple we met there and she was a good sport and super sweet, literally great energy. The food is 100/10 we got the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup and also a breakfast burrito and wow oh wow- everything from the vibes to food to the energy this place is def top on our list. The details in this place from their unique retail to the free bagged cookies they left out for anyone to take just makes the place feel warm cozy and inviting on a cold winter day. Will 1000% be back thank you so much!!!!!!!!“
