“My fiancée and I tried Don Hector’s this past weekend for the first time on a whim and we will definitely be back. We were greeted warmly upon entering and then comfortably catered to as we navigated the menu. Without any pressure or rush, suggestions were made where appropriate and the charcoal rotisserie process explained with obvious passion. The chicken was outstanding: the flavor, the texture, the juiciness! The sauce that comes with the chicken was such a pleasant surprise and the extra diablo sauce we added was the perfect amount of creamy heat. All of the sides were fantastic in portion, quality, preparation, flavor, and even the packaging! We will definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends!“

“When I first tried Dave's, it was amazing!! Sadly, the quality of the finished product began to decline, many times the food would be room Temperature and the chicken was dry. The great mix of classic rock, yacht rock, pop, and old school Motown started evolving into urban, hip-hop, rap, and even hardcore with explicit lyrics. However, it appears that upper management has literally cleaned house, and trained an entirely new team and manager, creating a wonderful, culturally diverse crew. The music reverted to the mix it was always meant to be, and the food was back to excellent! Perfectly cooked, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, and still hot when you arrive to pick up your order! Great job, and a great place to take out from or eat in. Once again. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight and commend them on taking the difficult steps to turn this location around, heading back in the right direction!! If you used to come and stopped, you need to come back and will not be disappointed. If you never tried Dave's Hot Chicken, now is the perfect time. You'll be glad you did!“

“My son and I both agree the combo of their chicken, sauce, coleslaw and pickle on the bun was probably one of the Best hot chicken sandwiches. I loved the hot honey chicken and my preteen got the mild. He is not a coleslaw guy, but even he it was the perfect combo. If you love cheese get the extra cheese, but if not the fries are good as they are. Special #4 sandwich and tender might be the best deal. Special #1 was the perfect lunch.“

“I can’t even lie — Hot Clux got one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I’ve been there multiple times and they stay consistent every visit, no matter which location you pull up to.
My go-to is the Loaded Dirty Bird Special. That joint is seriously one of the best things on the whole menu — packed with flavor, filling, and just hits every time. If you don’t know what to order your first time, start there. Trust.
They also got great drinks to pair with your meal, and the quality of the food is always on point. Never had a sloppy or disappointing order from them.
If you just want a top-tier chicken sandwich spot that’s halal, this is definitely one of them. Straight up — super fire, and the fact it’s halal makes it even more“

“New local halal food spot located on Cottman Ave near Castor Ave by the Sunoco gas station. Reasonably priced fresh food platters with a variety of tasty choices to choose from some as low as $5! $5 is a great price for those on a budget. I got the Mac and cheese/ fried chicken combo and the sauce it comes with is so yummy! It was pretty good. Also got the fish over rice with the garlic sauce it comes with a small salad as well. Fish was lightly breaded and cooked well. I will visit this spot again for sure to try out the other menu items!“

“I was traveling from out of state (Tennessee) and stopped at this Chick-fil-A, and I can honestly say this is the best location I’ve ever been to.
The customer service was absolutely on point—every question I had was answered clearly and kindly. For what some might consider a “fast food” restaurant, this was genuinely an exceptional experience with top-tier hospitality.
I also want to specifically recognize Christa. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. You can tell she genuinely cares about her job and the people she serves—it didn’t feel forced at all. Even as someone in a higher position, she went above and beyond, which really stood out to me. In my opinion, she deserves a raise—but of course, that’s up to Chick-fil-A.

“Good food. Great chicken! How about breakfast? This location at cottman and bustleton would be a great spot for breakfast.
There’s nothing else around. Wendy’s? That’s not breakfast.
I don’t have enough fingers to count how many chicken places there is between Castor ave and Roosevelt blvd. And nobody serves breakfast.“

“How many Popeyes do you see on Google maps with a rating this high? NOT A LOT. This Popeyes is truly a special one. Everything is high quality from the bonafide chicken to the smart and hard working employees. Bet these employees make HONOR ROLL report card grades and earn good hourly pay because the food always ON POINT and they never have an attitude!“

“The [female] Manager (Alzira) at this location is by far the nicest person and the reason I come to this location! She has provided me and my family with exceptional service and attention to detail on our orders whether dining in or taking out. If there has been an issue or delay, she has gone above and beyond to make it better! The food is also always served hot and the sandwiches are made to order. I would recommend this location if you are in search of eating a Popeyes meal!“

“Have been going to the Chick-fil-a in Quakertown and Lansdale and as eat-in diners have had the feeling of being very low priority. They are focused on their drive-thru and take out business. This one in Montgomeryville was GREAT!! Super service and when the food came an additional little pack of a hand wipe and mint was included per person. What a nice gesture! Definitely will be stopping there again as we felt welcome and appreciated as customers that is sadly lacking at the other “drive-thru” locations!“

“Stopped in after a friend suggested the food. We'll they did not disappoint at all!!!! The service was amazing, betweenthe staff and the food was even better! “Love love love their boneless chicken order and chicken meal and six piece of their boneless wings soy garlic sauce. I got in my car checked everything I began to taste their boneless chicken I was surprised that it had slices of the good pickles in their never had it like that so good that I couldn't pull off I sat there and went back and order the superbowl special which was a 1lb bucket i was so happy I did. My mom loves them and so did I. Now I need pickles with my boneless chicken from now on. Please included more pickles especially if your getting a pound of a small order to accommodate the pieces that would be awesome! I will be back“

“Im Filipino and this was my first time eating at a Jollibee, so I was excited to see something like Adobo Rice on the menu, and it was Good, I wish it had more juice on it, but I still enjoyed it. I ordered 3 orders so I could eat some when I got home later on, and it was still good when I got home and heated it up. The Chicken was extremely good imo, for fast food chicken I was very pleased and I would totally go back.
Gotta support my Fellow Filipinos. Plus, I Loved seeing so many Filipinos there, working, eating, and just enjoying themselves, I love My People lol 🇵🇭💪

“The chicken was juicy and fried perfectly. I got a side of mashed potatoes and gravy which was bland as all hell. Like not an ounce of season on it. The roll that it came with was good tho,toasted just right. Id go back but will not get the mash,I had to work my MOJO on them when I got home.“

“The service was fast. The atmosphere is clean. The food is good but don't expect the crown fried chicken of the past, this is definitely halal food. We didn't like the rice in the halal (it had a funny taste) but everything else was as to be expected. We ordered the chicken wings, chicken and rice halal, sweet potato pies and a half/half drink.“
