“I love this place. I've been there quite a few times. The food is great and consistent. My only, only issue?? They rush you! By that I mean they bring your salad, your appetizers, and your entrees at literally the same time So you end up takin most of your food home. That's good if you don't want to cook the next day, but we like to go out and enjoy our meal unrushed. The server will ask you for appetizers, take the order, then go right into entrees. And if youre not ready, he/she will come back with your beverages and ask again. Slow it down!“

“This might be the best BBQ in the city and stands up to a lot of the barbecue I've had in the South (specifically the Carolinas).

The people are friendly, the atmosphere is great and the Mac and Cheese is so good that I keep eating it despite being lactose intolerant. What more could you want?“

“As a Honolulu native, I had to investigate when I heard there was Hawaiian BBQ near me. Thirty minutes in the car later, I can confirm: it's worth the ride.

The BBQ mix plate, char siu pork bun, wasabi shumai, and veggie ramen were all excellent. Portions were generous, service was warm, and the place was super clean.

The fries were not ready when I received my meal so they brought them to me a minute or two later. The young man also brought a Carrot Cake and a coupon for a sandwich at a later time. “I absolutely love this kind of food! The place was a bit quiet when I arrived, it was past lunchtime, so that made sense. As soon as I sat down, the staff was very welcoming. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, the service was still warm and attentive. Watching them cook behind the curtain honestly made the whole experience feel even more special.

Right after my food arrived, the place started to fill up. It’s a small spot, but perfectly located and really charming. The ribs, bok choy, garlic eggplant, and corn were all incredible, seriously, so flavorful. Even though I ordered the mild option, it still had that perfect touch of spice.

“Came to Fette Sau on 8/3 for the first time. The manager was extremely hospitable and once we told him it was our first time he made suggestions that would give us the best food experience. Service was quick, staff was so friendly and food was absolutely delicious. It started raining when we went to leave, and the manager went to get a lost and found box of umbrellas that hadn’t been claimed in some time, and gave us one so we wouldn’t get wet walking to our car. I forgot what type of sauce I got but It was good you really didnt need it because the rice was full of favor. The shrimp was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was the long string beans and the mushrooms. The wait wasn't bad because I place my order over the phone. When I got there my food was ready but the atmosphere wasn't good. It was a man in there smoking a pipe. “A very affordable and nice hot pot/KBBQ experience in the northeast! It's well decorated, has great ambience and some of the ingredients are excellent quality. Some of the ingredients aren't as great though (I recommend staying away from the sausage and spam). The LA Galbi (bulgogi) and lamb were excellent though. Service was really nice, but I strongly recommend taking a picture of the ingredients you order before giving it to your server, they definitely missed a few items we put in. Overall, I had a great time and recommend this for experienced hot pot goers who want an affordable experience in the NE.“
