“This Applebee's was on point today. We were seated right away no wait. The server came up right away. The food was good. I ordered the French onion soup and chicken wanton tacos. The soup is normally good no surprise there but it was the first time I had the chicken taco off the appetizer menu they were light crispy and had fantastic flavor. Would definitely recommend“

“Love this place. The food is incredible - much higher quality and attention to detail and ingredients than you'd probably expect from a strip mall pub (once inside, you forget about the strip mall aspect). Will very definitely eat there again (the fried Brussels sprouts are HEAVEN) when I'm in or near Kennett Square.“

“My family and I go to Letty's every week or so. Although the restaurant area has plenty of charafter, we like to sit in the bar area for the atmosphere since there's usually live music. We have our “go to” meals ..: Steak Frittes, which are the best around (even in fancy reataurents). The Cliftonian pizza is also a favorite! While Letty's is laid back, the service is awesome.“

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“
